Room too small

The staff at the hotel were wonderful. The downside was the room. There’s practically no privacy in the bathroom. Additionally, we paid extra for a view of the park, but the view was really lacking. It’s more of a peek. Perhaps it’s better higher up, but on the 14th floor it was predominantly a view of the roof across the street.

very nice and comfy, clean. we had our 11 month baby and everything was a fit!

Hotel was fine, location is very good for midtown and central park. I was very annoyed by the elevator situation, enough to not stay here again. They only had 1 or 2 elevators running at any given time, I was on the 18th floor of which only 2 of 3 elevators can access. This meant when they had 2 running, it kept sending me the elevator that DOES not go to the 18th floor and the other one was not coming. This happened several times over several days and was annoying. In addition, the elevators are tiny. They need to run all 3 during the day and unfortunately do not. Hotel was cool, but bed was uncomfortable and overall it was just okay.

One of the nicest hotels in New York City! The staff was able to get our room ready early and they were very helpful throughout our stay there. The rooms are beautiful and beds are so comfortable.

Love this hotel- great location and such a calm oasis. Focus is on helping keep our environment clean. Just minutes from Central Park and a subway stop right outside the front door. Stayed last year and this year for the USOpen and will be back again

Very nice place but I had multiple issues with basic things like the coffee maker being broken and the room service taking three hours to get me toothpaste despite my asking for it three times over that stretch. In the grand scheme its NBD and I will stay here again.

Was great . Staff is really helpful and on top of things . Only very minor issue was room temperature control . I run cold , and was cold most of the time ( even with heat pushed up )

I loved the aesthetic of it. From the moment I walked in, plants and wood vibes greeted me. The room was very comfortable with two fluffy beds and a nicely decorated bathroom. This hotel was very convenient as it was only a couple of minutes away from a lot of delicious restaurants, by walking. Overall, I have really enjoyed my time and the 1 Hotel at Central Park!

The hotel was very nice and I enjoyed it, but the water in the shower would not get warm. I enjoyed the hotel, but I won’t stay here again because I wasn’t able to take a hot shower .not sure if you’re trying to conserve energy, but it was a dealbreaker

Very kind staff at the reception, in front of the hotel and handling suit cases. Magic atmosphere, great vibe and your crowd too. Our favorite hotel in NYC

Room , common areas and overall was extremely dirty and unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Very alarming stays on the rug in our bedroom, we had a suite and also the room had not been cleaned at all nor trash taken out in the 3 days we were there. This wasn’t 5 stars by any means .

Great location and decent hotel overall. The rooms are pretty bare: no hand soap, no shelf space in the bathroom, AC stopped functioning in the middle of the night during one of the hottest days on record. Very loud (you can hear everyone from the rooms around you there is constant activity in the hallway, at any time of the day).

Loved the little window seat overlooking Central Park. Close to the subway, and also walkable to a number of places.
Only part that felt a little weird was the bathroom being a fishbowl. There are curtains and stuff to separate the bathroom and bedroom areas, but you can definitely hear everything through the sliding door. I also generally prefer to have a place to unpack (like a dresser), and the wardrobe wasn't ideal. But these are things you can see from the room pics, so it isn't a rating detractor for me.

Front desk staff were so very friendly and accommodating. They made me feel welcomed and well cared for during my stay. It’s also extremely convenient. Easy walk to the park, shopping and subway literally on the same block.
