Loved the location and the setting. Great little cottage for a quiet getaway.

Comfortable place to stay, enjoyed it very much.

Amazing service, we had 2 dogs and booked cottage A and realised there was no enclosed space and they moved us to Cottage D. We loved every minute of the stay, we walked to the coast with our dogs and visited local cafe, restaurant and the local day spa. It was a beautiful stay at an affordable price. We will stay again!

Lovely clean cottage. Very quiet and relaxing.

Property is good but, unfortunately, cleanliness is not so good, we moved a sofa and there was all sorts of rotten food, easter eggs and other dirt under it. The most concerning was the toilet - it wasn't sanitized and there were feces on the internal side of it.

Very clean. Beds were great. Lots of space. Parking right outside the cottage. A fully equipped kitchen, portable heater, portable fans, cleaning equipment such as broom and vacuum cleaner. There is a log fire but we didn’t use it. TV with Freeview. Tennis court and spa but too wet to use at this time of year. Better than expected.

The surroundings of nature were amazing to wake up to and go for an early morning walk. Close to cafes.

Lovely bush land setting and walking distance to restaurants.

Was ok quite comy but needed a good clean. Lots of spiders/webs and toilet wasnt cleaned properly. Very cold cottage...small oil heater doesnt do anything so we had to keep lighting the fire. price was reasonable and had some good facilities...laundry/ tennis/bikes/spa etc

cosy cottage, great wood burning fire and plenty of wood. Quiet location
4.0
The cottage has a very strong smell of smoke like wet wood has been burned in the fire place. The bed and pillows need to be updated too. The hot tub was murky. It was very quiet though and a convenient location with a good price point

Very handy location, kids loved the tennis and table tennis

Cozy place, very quiet and close to pub. Generally tidy apart from cobwebs in rooms and hair left in shower.

This place is spacious and cozy, especially by the fire😊. The kitchen is well equipped and the surroundings peaceful and green. We visited in winter and highly recommend it.

Fantastic family spot and not overly expensive ,short distance from the great ocean road and all its dights

Great place, very relaxing and perfect to get away from it all. Surrounded by nature you might encounter some spider webs out- and inside.

Great place to holiday.

The cottage is one of four set in a secluded back street, but easy to find. Designed for a family, it is very spacious for a couple, with a complete kitchen and nice sitting area. The only drawback is the lack of heating apart from the solid fuel heater. No problem for us country folk but could be if you are not used to cleaning out a fireplace, lighting your fire and adjusting the air flow. Fortunately there was a supply of good quality fire wood on the verandah so we did not suffer from cold.
Our host tends to require a reminder about when he has guests arriving but waking up to the birds was quite special.

There were 5 people who went and one dog.
My friend enjoyed the peacefulness.
I enjoyed the space inside and out. Also the beautiful bush setting.
The 8 year old enjoyed the tennis court the most.
The 3 year old enjoyed the room in the lounge and the tv
The 1 year old enjoyed that they provided an oil heater because he definetaly would have the fire heater.
My dog enjoyed the fact that he had his own yard and did not need to be tied up

Accommodation was planned around our wanting to do Surf Coast 45 kms walk and at same time relax and sightsee the area. Cottage did not disappoint given pricing, and adequately met our needs. Comfortable beds, cooking wherewithalls, etc.and quiet. WE we re disappointed that spa was unavailable for 2 of 3 of our walking days as we had specifically looked for this when searching for accommodation. We can appreciate when ?malfunctions occur, (this seemed to be the issue) but would be nice to have this communicated. However. in fairness, this might never happen again and happy to presume it was a 'one-off'

The cottage is very well used. We were out often, as it was a little depressing in the dark rooms. The wire screens didn’t fit, so we had many mosquitoes all the time. There was no fencing around the cottage for dogs, which meant our two had to stay inside. Fine for a couple of nights, but no longer for us.

A good holiday, but the place was a little tired, it was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for some fire wood and it was delivered immediately

Just right for a relaxing break away. Easy to walk to cliff top walk, shops and lighthouse.
Clean kitchen and bathroom. Just needs a bigger rug in lounge room under your feet. However, the Pot belly stove kept us snug and warm. Definitely be recommending to friends.

was lovely and quite nice to light the fire at night and wake up to birds singing,we thought pet friendly meant we could take our dogs but you are not aloud to only one cottage has a little fenced area for dogs but the owner david helped us by getting us some dog beds and rope so we could keep dogs outside our room he was so helpful,it has a tennis court and we played table tennis, bbq outside our room and table and chairs to sit on and relax, room had everything we needed and beds were comfortable,i walked dogs to beach each day took about half hour to walk there, no wifi available but we did not mind nice and peaceful, room was fairly clean lots of spiders and mozzies in room, dirt roads to drive on to get to cottage

We just came back from a weekend away at the Split Point Cottages. Very spacious for a family with 2 young children, we all loved the fireplace. And even though it was freezing when we arrived, it was warm and cosy after a couple of hours. We also tried the spa pool outside, which worked as a treat. The whole cottage was absolutely spotless, clean. Is there anything negative to mention: More teaspoons would be great...there was only one☺

Lovely rammed earth cottages (which should have been mentioned in the add) in bush setting with private feel. Booked on Wotif at the last minute which was no problem at all. Very comfortable beds, with appropriate living and dining area.
8.0
Quiet and comfortable. Removed enough to be private and close enough to easily reach Anglesea and Airey's. Not much to look at but just right on the inside. We will definitely book again.

Quiet, well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Ideal base for couple or family to explore the nearby coastal and inland tourist areas. Tennis court and spa are two added bonuses.
