Now I understand you get what you pay for, but this was just not right. Overall, the room was clean. It wasn’t perfect but it was clean. The room was really dated. Now that wouldn’t bother me normally but it had an odor to it. The odor was being covered by a deodorizer but it was still there. My final straw was the AC wasn’t working, or not well. After a shower, I realized the room was just as warm as when I entered. I let it run for an hour but my only relief came if I stood directly in front. I tried to switch rooms but no one was available at the reception desk. I kept ringing the buzzer, probably waited just under 5mins before I decided to leave. It was upsetting but, you get what you pay for.

The guy at the office when we checked in was behind glass at 2 pm. So I knew it would be questionable from the beginning. It looked like a halfway house/homeless shelter was being run from this place. They have security listed on the property but even that didn’t make me feel safe. The room was dirty, the fans in the bathroom were black, there was blood on the ceiling and wall next to the sink, a ring around the tub was literally black. I went and bought sheets, bleach, towels, and slippers just to stay here.

This place smelled so horrible that I had a headache immediately and left. While I was checking out 30 minutes after my arrival I asked if I could get a refund back and was told no. I immediately left disappointed and will never be returning to this facility.

The room smelled like cat pee. Told the front desk person. But he said no cat waa in there. Could not sleep because of the smell and my throat was sore by morning. The door waa hard to open ovee the carpet. There also was security guard our front. The tv didnt work the guy had to come ip and reset it. When you check in you talked thru a window. Lobby waa not open.

Location is convenient for the NOS BUT really beat down. All furniture was broken and it was dirty. Good thing it was just a place to sleep, stayed at other hotels near by that are better.

The backside of the tv and entertainment center need a bit of cleaning, but you wouldn’t notice if you weren’t as nosy as I was. The underside of the beds need a staple of two, and one can understand how a kids toy ball could be left behind in the rush to leave and rush to clean. But besides that, everything else was sufficient for a budget motel, and with no deposit unlike some of the more profit-oriented (read: greedy) motels I’ve stayed at this year, you really can’t complain. Beds: comfortable. A/C filters: clean. Room: clean. Staff: accommodating. Stay here and don’t complain, or go to Super 8 and be horrified at the extra $20 for every 15 minutes they charge for you standing in line waiting to tell them you’ll be checking out late. Orange Show Inn for the win ^_^

For extremely high rates, the hotel is extremely unhygienic. It was dirty, moldy and had stains everywhere. The staff/owner was extremely hostile and rude. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had

The person at the check-in window was pleasant but the motel was very rundown and unsafe. The bed was made but they were stains on the blankets and pillows and mold around the bathtub. The lock on the door was broken as if someone had pushed the door in. I had ordered through Expedia site unseen and once I walked in the room I walked right out and did not come back. I did not stay in the room. I took a picture of the door but can’t seem to post it

Very dirty. Definitely hasn’t been cleaned properly since the last guest. There were still dirty towels in the bathtub, ring marks in a lair of grease on side table and the tv didn’t work. If you’re worried about Covid, this place isn’t. Waste of $$, heavily considered driving the 4 hour round trip because of all of the above.

The room was terribly disgusting, hair on the ground from a previous stay, stains on bed covers, counters and surfaces were not even wiped down, mold on the shower curtain and the grab bar was coming out of the wall with exposed screws. It was a close walk to the NOS event center however

Roach infested room, and the walls were falling apart from the bottom on top of the molding there was a huge hand print on the headboard the floor looked as if it had not been vacuumed in days

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The checkin was constantly interrupted by people rushing into the lobby and cutting in line to tell the hotel owner that their toilet was overflowing, etc. The room was just a dump. Literally a dump. They had started painting the walls in the bathroom and didn't finish. They left the painters tape along the edge of the shower enclosure and didn't take it down. The had a obvious leak in the bathroom and had done a large wall cutout repair in the drywall and didn't paint over the drywall patch. The ceiling light fixture was nearly falling down and one of the wall electrical outlets was busted in half (very dangerous with exposed wires). The haird dryer was hanging from a wooden wall outlet by one wire with the wire splce exposed and it was sitting against a steel towel rack (extremely dangerous and could cause electric shock). The bed was like sleeping on the box springs, hard as a rock. There was yelling and running up and down the hallways all night by kids and they would pound on the door next to my room and yell at the kid inside to come out. They would then slam the door and run down the hallway again. They did this until 3:00 AM. When I left the motel the next day the parking lot was trashed. Empty plastic soda bottles and spit out sunflower seeds everywhere. Empty bags of chips and trash spewn everywhere. There had obviously been a parking lot party all night. This place is a literally a DUMP and see my photos.

Honestly not the nicest hotel I’ve been in. Found bugs in sink and weird writing in the bathroom. But whatever’s. Stayed for Rave weekend and it was so close to the venue and so cheap. I’m booking here again. A lot nicer than the hotel next door :)

I booked this hotel because it was close to the start line of the Big Bear REVEL Half Marathon. Location was my top priority. But, some other things were also very important and that's where the facility really failed. We checked in at about 7pm and the minute we got in we had to call the front desk because the toilet was clogged. They sent someone right away, but they didn't really fix the whole toilet problem, the water pressure was very low so the flush just wasn't cut it. We ended up using the little trash can to flush like one does in 3rd world countries; filled it with water and poured from high up to get some good pressure. The second major problem came at about 1:00 am, really bad timing since we had to be up at 4:30. There was a fight or something crazy just outside our door, yelling, running, banging, just too much noise that was not addressed by the front office for at least half an hour. Finally, we were charged $10 checkout later by one hour. Which I thought was ridiculous considering the raucous from the night before easily cost me several minutes off from my race. Stay here at your own risk, bring earplugs and cash for the checkout, and be creative with your toilet flushing skills. Ahhhh, I almost forgot, I saw two roaches in the bathroom. yuck!
