Most staff did not speak English or understand much. Did not verify information and asked us to leave during our 2 day stay when we had 6 days..

The staff was so rude and not friendly, We stayed at the SLS before our stay here and loved that much better! We stayed for 4 nights. The location is perfect but I would rather stay at a further hotel location for better staff and service. The front desk staff would only give us one key. They said it was a rule. My friend or I had to take turns getting escorting to our room so they could let us in. I was asking the kitchen staff for almond milks. They have it. I guess they assumed I didn’t understand Spanish, they were talking about us and laughing in our face. They never greeted us when we would arrive in the hotel or in and out of the hotel. The only time they were nice was at checkout. Also, I saw ants in the room around the snack bar.

For a four star hotel at this price, we were disappointed. The staff who checked us in weren’t overly friendly or helpful. We wanted to check in, order room service and relax. It took 3 trips back to the front desk to get into our room and get the lights turned on. Then we called the front desk and room service line a few times before eventually ordering food outside the hotel. They wouldn’t let the person bring it up so we had to go back down and get it. The room was really nice and very clean. The cleaning staff were good. One additional item we didn’t expect from a hotel of this price was that they charge for every single item (for example we had to pay for each coffee we wanted in our room in the morning). No free morning coffee in your room at an 4 star hotel was surprising. All in all we had the same level of service we received from 2 star hostels that cost a quarter of the price.

I recently stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. I have everything good to say about it . The location is near restaurants and bars in very secure neighborhood of Palermo. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They had wonderful recommendations of things to do. The hotel is very clean and well kept right next to an awesome café is you decline the hotel breakfast. The hotel offers a free tour of the city with a guide who is very knowledgeable of the city and speaks both Spanish and English fluently. I highly recommend

Staff was great from the start. I had really heavy bags, and it was nice that the team grabbed them and took them to the room as well as in the cab. When I left, the bag storage was great so I could roam around town. Let an expensive hat in the room when I checked out and they had saved it for me.

Great location md very walkable. Not an overly friendly staff and room/carpet in hallway felt dated

This was our final hotel after seven weeks away we were travel weary and there were clear pros and cons to this hotel. Staff were amazing, Laura on the front desk in particular. Location and surrounding area was what we wanted and needed.
However for the price and status of this hotel it is tired and not up to spec.
Firstly there were many reviews of the AMAZING rooftop bar being one of the best in BA. It is closed - and when asked about it there was no real comment or explanation offered/ this is one of the reasons we booked this property so disappointing to find this. It’s a dark empty rooftop space with some garden furniture but not even a tap or jug to get a cold water ( this remains advertised on the website despite clearly being shut for some time)
$3 for a Nespresso capsule - Really! & $18 ( USD) for a small plate of French fries! Flagged with staff - yes management know customers complain was the reply.
The pool area needs some love - it and the spa area are tiled with mosaic / but walking barefoot thru this space, tiles would come undone and stick to your feet! A staff member saw this on one occasion and giggled and walked off with the tile in hand. The pool is missing many such tiles and it’s little things like this that take the sheen off a hotel that has the real potential to be very luxurious.
The dark corridor walls to the bedrooms and the rooms them selves are scuffed and dirty - not a major thing but lowers the impression of the place.

Unfortunately the CasaSur seems to be more interested in making money from its captive guests than supporting their enjoyment of a nice city hotel

Very nice hotel and location, great restaurants around, friendly and helpful people, especially Milagros (if i remember well her name) at the front desk, she was wonderful!

Excellent facilities, spacious and very clean rooms. Comfortable bed and temperature. Inconsistent service level and poor breakfast, especially seeing how the restaurant offers great vegetarian options. Location is great for walking, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops.

We loved the hotel. The staff were super helpful and really lovely. Room was really comfortable and large. Nice breakfast, with lots of variety. We also had a very nice lunch at the restaurant. The location is excellent. Palermo is a great neighborhood, and the walk to the subway, which will get you everywhere, was not long at all.Excellent retaurants in the vicinity, and we discovered a gluten-free bakery, just too late to try it out.

We had a wonderful stay at Casasur Palermo Hotel. The service and location was great. We had booked a deluxe room with a balcony and the room was clean, large and comfortable. We were a little surprised when the bar wasn’t very accommodating when we asked for a bottle of wine to be delivered to the room. We were sent there by the receptionist and had to go back to the reception to order from room service. The bartender appeared a bit confused. We also didn’t appreciate the breakfast which was vegetarian. We didn’t mind that but the selection was extremely limited and disappointing. We actually expected the breakfast to be great since they obviously had made a conscious choice about having a vegetarian restaurant. Overall we had a great stay and the service was great.

Buenos Aires was to be the start of our two week vacation. Our daughter lives in Argentina, and though she doesn’t live in BA, she knows the city well. She recommended that we stay in Palermo, since good restaurants and clubs are plentiful in this area. We prefer small, boutique hotels, and this fit the bill perfectly. I feel we received great value for the quality of the hotel. Also, breakfast was included in the price, and it was a very nice buffet in their ground floor restaurant. The employees were all very friendly and helpful, with a particular shout out to Andres, who gave us great suggestions on restaurants, shows, etc.

This property has the feel of a 5-star hotel. Amazing hotel and staff. The only criticism is the vegan restaurant on site has limited options for breakfast.

Excellent location, near to restaurants and shopping

It was great. The only thing was that the room was near a storage room where the staff would get cleaning supplies, and because of that, there was some loud noises during mornings and nights.

Hotel is hip and has a cool vibe.
Staff - as it is mostly typical in Buenos Aires - doesn’t care to give a smile or to show any kind of attention.
Breakfast is a complete and utter let down at this price point:
- there’s not enough variety of food, everything looks bland
- It’s VEGETARIAN breakfast. You the client that pays 150 USD + per night doesn’t get to decide what sort of eating you want in your life, the hotel forces it down on you.
- asked staff for an omelette - completely vegetarian - the omelette never came. Went for breakfast outside of the hotel, didn’t want to start my day without proper food.

did not like the breakfast ....did not know it was a vegetarian place .....nothing special ....only one cheese . tomato and few things more...no offering of omelettes only the typical eggs already prepared

We absolutely loved Casa Sur Palermo. The design is gorgeous, modern and well thought out and we received excellent service by the staff. We received a upgrade and champagne for our Expedia VIP status and our room was very large, with a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, large shower, plenty of counter space for his and hers toiletries. We also had a large balcony that overlooked the city and beautiful pool and restaurant below. We stayed in 3 hotels while in Argentina and this was hands down our favorite. It felt very luxurious and the price is very reasonable. The location is great, very safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants and easy to walk or bike. We loved the restaurant, but note that is is vegetarian. The design and service at the restaurant is also wonderful. There is a club on the roof, so on the weekends you can hear bass and some music, but it did not disturb our sleep. The gym is the only thing that could use a upgrade and better/more equipment but the "relaxation room" and men's and women's sauna's and pool make up for that in my opinion. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay again. Barbara at the front desk was especially lovely, and helpful. We love Casa Sur!

The hotel was beautiful and modern, the location was perfect, right in the middle of all the restaurants and bars you want to visit. If I can criticize something, would be the front desk people, don’t get me wrong, they were super professional, but really cold and unfriendly. Not a how was your day, or how was the restaurant we recommend it, or at least how was your 9 nights stay at our hotel. Just bizarre!

The staff is really nice. Breakfast buffet is nice. The rooms are clean and modern. Location is quiet. There's an absolutely terrific pizza restaurant down the street. The VIP amenity was some chocolates and a small bottle of chilled sweet wine (which is so-so). Did not get a room upgrade.
