Adult only hotel. Loved everything except the sales team that captures you as soon as you arrive. Food and drinks are good.

It was amazing and the staff is so attentive. Very clean, fun, but also quiet. Lovely view! So beautiful all in all, so many things included.

Great spot to be close to downtown. I’d say it’s in between mid and mid high resort. Staff are great! I enjoyed my stay!

There are only 2 pros with this hotel, the location and the staff. The cons were, food was flavorless, the hotel has 2 buildings and its just annoying to habe to keep taking elevators. The rooms are loud, you can hear the party boats all day long going in and out of the harbor.

The staff were very nice. They were very attentive, a bit too attentive at times. It would’ve been nice to not have been checked on so many times. We worked with their contracted transportation service a few weeks prior to arrival & again the day before for a wheelchair accessible van transport to/from airport. My husband talked to them and was very specific about the wheelchair transport. They said they have it and can accommodate. We pre-paid it but it was not a wheelchair van that picked us up. The driver said they do not own such a thing. They said they can accommodate the wc by storing it. I had to transfer my husband from a very low to high surface. They did not have a seat belt and the seat did not recline. This is incredibly uncomfortable for someone who has no trunk control. My husband also called the resort ahead of time and asked if they had a pool lift & if they could make sure the battery was charged. They said of course. They did not have a pool lift. Not all the areas of the hotel was accessible. There were grab bars in the showers and BR of the accessible room but no hand held shower hose.

For the price point I think it’s relatively expensive. The room I got was facing a very busy street very loud and again the room was very dark no lighting only small lamp lights I couldn’t get ready at night. I had trouble digging through my travel bag. My bathroom was shower was clogged as well. The amenities are lonely including surrounding restaurants and cafe on site

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Breathless in Cabo San Lucas, and overall, it was a great trip. The location is fantastic, situated conveniently close to downtown and the marina, making it easy to explore the local area and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
The pool area was lively and fun, with excellent service from the staff who were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The food was what you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort—decent, but not exceptional. However, the variety and availability made it a hassle-free experience.
Having the beach nearby was a nice touch, even though it’s not private. Breathless does provide a private space for its guests, ensuring you can enjoy some exclusive beach time.
All in all, Breathless in Cabo San Lucas offers a great blend of convenience, lively atmosphere, and good service, making it a solid choice for a vacation.

The staff was awesome and very helpful. The solicitors on the beach and in town were annoying but I understand that is out of the resorts control.

The staff is so attentive to meet all your needs.
Even that it’s an all inclusive & tips are not required I hope everyone gives good tips for excellent service

The location is perfect. Super convenient to shops, restaurants, clubs. Should book xhale club rooms to be on the quiet side for sleeping, the service is super friendly and accommodating. All restaurants except for one was all yummy. Great music and entertainment!

Service was good, location was great but all the food was consistently horrible.
Every place. I’m so glad I only did 3 nights. My husband and I lost weight coming back because we could barely eat.
Definitely not fresh.
We upgraded to the XHale package and they would switch out the top shelf liquor when they know you’re drinking lots of it. I don’t know how I had 8 shots of tequila but didn’t get drunk. Everything is so overpriced. Don’t waste your money here. Unless you just want a view. Or don’t do all inclusive. I’ve been to 8 different all inclusive sites. This was by far the worst food and drinks.

If you are a foodie this place may not be for you. Everything was great except the food. I thought maybe the other reviews exaggerated that the food wasn’t good, but it really is not good.

Amazing resort. Best location right on the marina. Arturo (from Fishnets), Javier (from Bites), and Pastor (from Spoon) were our favourite servers during our stay! We will be back! Till next time Breathless.

This property is very dated and it shows in many ways. I’m a workout person so I got up every morning to workout and had to walk from the main building where the rooms were to all the way outside to cross over to the other building to access the gym, spa, and almost all of the restaurants. Lunch is only available in two places which was ridiculous. The Italian restaurant was the best hands down. Room service was mediocre. Just don’t expect a lot from the food. Of course they will immediately convince you to listen to the time share sales pitch and claim it’s a loyalty system and not a time share but it is. If you have 90 minutes to offer the free spa and boat dinner ride for free will be worth it. There are many spaces that require cabana reservations near the pool. The drinks are subpar! If you get Exhale Lounge Access that’s the only place with top shelf liquor and it’s in the main building so no top shelf during dinner unless you want to pay for bottles. The marina is beautiful but it was so loud going to bed every night.

Expedia VIP gave us champagne and treats in room upon arrival but we were surprised to also receive upgrade to Exhale club! Exhale gave us a separate checkin, lounge with conceige and a private chef dinner we could book which was appreciated but we agreed we would not pay extra for exhale as regular guests also get top shelf liquor if you ask at any bar. Everyone gets well drinks if you don't ask. Beach was beautiful but could use a few more loungers; they were at only about half capacity and they were all taken early in the day. Service to pool and beach was wonderful for food and drinks! Only negative is drug dealers allowed in the public alley we need to walk on a between the two buildings asking us several times each day if we want to buy ....its tacky and unwelcome so not sure why resort security is there and allowing this. All staff and location are superb! Shout out to SUP guy...he came early every morning so we could paddle. We also took electric sup tour $100USD with him to the arch for sunrise (only allowed to go to arch with guide which is for your own safety). Fun girls trip! Walkable to harbour.

This was such a disappointment. The food is awful with very limited choices. Some of the restaurants were closed each night because lack of staff. The hotel has such an odd layout with the breakfast ‘buffet’ being a long walk from the rooms. We were there for four nights and not once did housekeeping come to the room; we had to track down for extra towels. Would not recommend, nor will I be coming back.

we ate at 3 of the on site restaurants, all were good. the pools were clean. the 'quiet' pool was a must. the other one is party central, it's good that there is an option to get away if you want to.

The food is terrible, there is constant loud music from 1pm to 1am. Far from the airport. If you leave the hotel you are heckled to buy souvenirs and excursions

My wife and I stayed at this property from 6/5/-6/10. First let me say we stayed at this resort 4 years ago when AM resorts ran it. We really loved it back then and were upgrade to the Xhale club during our stay. We usually stay at either a Breathless or some other AM resort like Secrets. Our experience this time was not as good. First let me say the resort is very nice and I would stay here again, but it's not the same since Hyatt took it over. The resort is beautiful, clean, well-kept and maintained. We also like the resort because of the fun party type atmosphere. But having said that we noticed a big difference in the food and drinks. The food was just ok at best. The liquor around the pool was lower to midgrade alcohol. When I asked several times if they had any Don Julio Tequila, I was always told that they just ran out and it would be here shortly. That happened three different times. Also, I had some of the worst margarita's I've ever had at any resort during dinner. Come on this is Mexico they should know how to make a margarita. I sent at least three back they were so bad and I'm not that picky. The front desk was also not very friendly or welcoming. We lost almost two days of our vacation because of American Airlines canceling a flight and bad weather in Houston (Not their fault). But having said that the staff at the front desk could have cared less that we lost almost two days at the resort and did nothing for us. The fitness center is also a joke

We did receive a room upgrade thank you to the staff ! Everyone was really great - the views from the marina rooms are second to none! Only negative thing we noticed were the promotional people at the hotel were always pushy trying to get you to buy excursions all day
4.0 / 5.0
Not a resort style property, more is like a hotel with two adjacent building separated by a public area..
Staff, are super nice and attentive and property is clean and modern …
Room next door to us in one night and quiet pool area which is right under rooms on another night was extremely noisy with people listening to their own loud music and talking and laughing till 2am and beyond, we had to ask for help from hotel security… So, if you like your peaceful night to get ready for another great day activity, consider this..
Food, is 7/10 …

Staff was friendly and well trained.
Massage with Iris was great, very professional girl.
This hotel located on the Harbour, many big and small boats are in the area, smell of gas , loud music, non stop party around, basically it were sleepless nights!
As soon as we arrived the sales guy from XPal Club was trying to take advantage of us, we were tired, did not give us a chance to check in and get to our room . I will not recommend to my friends this hotel!
