Fabulous romantic stay. Clean and spacious room and bed. Very nice hotel bar and restaurant with great views of the river. Pool smelled very strongly of chlorine so we didn't go in, but we went in the hot tub several times. It was big enough for several groups and provided a fabulous view with plexiglass to shield us from the wind. Hotel shuttle took us to and from restaurants and shopping. Spacious and well lit parking lot. Small shop for snacks to take back up to the room.

Perfectly located on the water next to Bentleyville. Great hotel, staff and the quietest rooms. Love this place!

We were put on a dog, friendly dogs barking all around a dog came out of their room charged us was very uncomfortable was not a pleasant day. We checked in late, checked out early. There was no free breakfast as was advertised on the site. We will not go there again. It was not a good value.

Fabulous stay. I especially love the outside amenities; the fire pits with plenty of space to enjoy the amazing view.

I stayed at this property for work for 1 night. I have stayed here before and its location works for me. The views are amazing from the property of Lake Superior and the city of Duluth! The food at Silos restaurant is spot on and something for everyone.

We had an amazing stay at Pier B. It was a family trip and the kids had a blast! The pickleball and tricycles were a hit as well as s’mores and swimming. The staff was very kind and accommodating.

Beautiful location.

Over-priced. Nice hotel by Duluth standards. Great location adjacent to Bayfront Festival Park and easy paved walkway to canal park area (restaurants/bars, shops, museum). Located on lakeshore, which is great! Nice patio fires outside, so comfortable on chilly days.

Very nice hotel in good condition. Excellent restaurant attached. Even though there was a large wedding at the hotel, it was well controlled and a very pleasant stay.

Great location! Nice size room. We had a patio room which was wonderful because we were there during the Blues Festival. We ended up sitting at one of the fire pits outside our room listening to the music (we even had tickets). The only issue we had was that the bathroom sink never drained and we wiped up a water spill on the bathroom floor and the towel was black after wiping up water. Very dirty floor. There are lots of amenities. The hot tub was right outside our room if you are into that. A bit pricey at $1200 for the weekend but could not have had a better the location.

Best hotel ever

By far the best place I’ve stayed at.
3.0
Cool place, but not very clean and VERY loud between the concert venue next door and the weddings, etc. Restaurant could use espresso and cold brew drinks.
8.0
Pros: clean, easy access to Canal Park, nice (and very quiet) rooms, 24 hour fitness center, the cute s'mores kits available.
Cons: the wifi. The free wifi is terrible, which makes relaxing difficult. Of all the amazing amenities, you'd think this would be a bigger priority. I could also see it getting crowded and loud if there is a Bayfront event.
Overall, as someone from the area I would recommend trying out this hotel if you're willing to pay.

I was in a room that was below another room that was having the bathroom remodeled. Awakened by the sounds of sawing tile above me. Ordered dinner to be delivered to room. It took over an hour. The staff was good, they did move me for my second night and comped my meal. Have to say though that my first night there was not great for the cost of the room. Cleanliness- there were plastic cups behind the dresser, sheets were so wrinkled it seems like they were not changed. I requested new sheets and they were equally as wrinkled so I felt better that my sheets had been changed. These are trivial things but again, for the price per night I was a bit let down.

Lots of amenities, outdoor saunas/hot tub, boat rental, pickleball, scooters, bicycles/trycycles. Nice views of Lake Superior. Pretty outdoor patios and decks. Not a fan of the sliding barn door in the bathroom!

All around amazing stay. Hot tub on the lake was a rejuvenating post BWCA soak!

Pier B is a gorgeous facility with an amazing view and on-site amenities. We rented one of the balcony suites, and the room was very nice. Unfortunately our intended rental was to view the 4th of July fireworks, and the balcony rooms are facing the wrong side of the harbor for that event. Regardless, we had a lovely dinner at their in-house restaurant and stayed onsite to watch the fireworks from their parking lot.

We love the view of the harbor and bridge. BUT, nothing to do with the hotel, we were hugely disappointed that the bridge is no longer lit up at night! This was a highlight of our last visit. We would be much more likely to return, if we knew that the bridge would be lit.
