I couldn’t find a single flaw in our stay. Everything and everyone was very professional. We will definitely be returning upon future trips to the city.

It was a quick stop before flying home and we enjoyed the location, great staff and easy check-in and check-out, very clean and comfortable modern room with all the amenities needed

All was fantastic. Service was superb.

We really enjoyed the location. It’s perfectly situated to the heart of downtown Seattle. The rooftop bar is great. The room was done and cleaned every single day and the staff was very nice. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin and could hear everything outside our room.

Very friendly and helpful staff in all areas.

The property is located in an area that is close to shopping, dining and the pier.

Great modern hotel in the buzzing downtown area 2 minute walk from famous waterfront market. Amazing views of the harbour from the front-facing rooms. Great food options in and around the hotel. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Highly recommended.

The check-in process was very pleasant and the staff gave great dining recommendations. The rooftop happy hour was really nice but get there early because it fills up quick.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating from the moment we checked in - late at 2:30am. They helped up navigate to our room and provided us with all of the valet parking details. Our room was super clean and had plenty of plugs for all of our charging gadgets. We traveled with our dog, Unagi, who loved the hotel just as much as we did. There were plenty of outdoor potty spots for the late night potty trip. We didn’t have a chance to try the hotel restaurant or the bar.. which I was bummed about. I have heard amazing things about both of them from friends and family - so I highly suggest you check those out as well! We didn’t spend much time at the hotel as we had a pretty packed itinerary otherwise.

Great place to stay that puts you right in the heart of the Seattle waterfront, Pikes Market, great restaurants!

Thompson was a great hotel overall. We booked last minute on Expedia and upon arrival Joe checked us in. He was the kindest, most genuine and very professional. Our AC in the room wasn’t working properly and he went above and beyond and made sure we have a portable AC as well. This hotel is very modern and chic and has access to lots of touristy spots.

We truly enjoyed our stay and the wonderful staff. You can’t beat the location, and the view of the waterfront is fantastic. If you don’t have a waterfront view room, the rooftop bar has it.

I cancelled 3 days ahead, due to illness, I was on the Collette tour. They refused to provide a refund. I will make it a point to provide Collette the information on the way Hyatt does Business. Of course, they lost mine forever, Hilton does a much friendlier environment.

Loved the hotel. Comfortable bed, great ambiance and awesome rooftop bar.

Amazing staff and beautiful design/decor. Hotel pics online show each room to have a chair (separate from the desk) for guests to relax, but neither my water view room, nor my parents room had a chair for comfort. Guests only option while in the room is to sit on the bed or rolling desk chair (less safe for elderly).

Very close to the market, shopping and restaurants. Staff was great. Easy to get a Uber to anywhere.

Had to switch rooms three times due to non-functioning A/C. Their solution to fix second room’s broken A/C was to put a loud swamp cooler in my room that was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk let alone fall asleep. Final room finally had A/C work but the hotel had no internet for a full 48 hours so we had to waste PTO hours. I was going to check out less than 24 hours into my five night trip but two managers assured me my stay would be greatly discounted, which ended up being a lie. They comped my valet and one of the terrible restaurant meals, but refused to reduce the room rate after multiple assurances. I’m left feeling tricked, lied to and scammed. I genuinely believe I would have had a more comfortable trip staying at a Best Western.

Where to begin, our first greeting was with Leah. She is most personable. We were all going to the same concert the next night. The hotel sent us upscale chocolates and Beer we had mentioned we liked during our meeting. I am a cancer survivor and they treated us like gold !!
Thank you also to Malia and Martha who made our stay most excellent ❤️ Also, hi five to the concierge who helped us find out about the best restaurants and booked our Underground Seattle tour.

Had horrible smells in the ventilation which permeated to all areas of the hotel... Restaurant, hallways, room, elevators and lobby... Aside from being a wonderful hotel and restaurant, the smell lingers to skin and clothing... Still have the smell after 4 showers and had to throw away my clothing.

It is a lovely property centrally located from many of the sights in Seattle - especially one block from Pike Place Market. We liked the hotel's dark, moody vibe. The staff was knowledgeable and prompt when ordering our cabs and sharing locations for us to visit. We were grateful that we could check in early to our room or that they were ready and willing to hold our luggage. Having just got off the cruise ship, we were exhausted. We had a problem with our tub draining in our room, and I stood in 3" water as I showered. However, they promptly handled the situation after bringing it to the team's attention. We understand that plumbing can be problematic in older buildings. It's nice that there's a restaurant on-site, and the food was delicious.
We felt safe in the hotel and within two blocks of the property. Even though there were three homeless people slumped in the alley directly behind the hotel. They were keeping to themselves. But, once we ventured out 4-5 blocks away, the homeless and drug addicts were on every block and more active or visible. We watched one man in particular (who was high on drugs) strike/hit an innocent pedestrian from behind with an object as he was walking on 6-14-24. We made sure we were back at the hotel by dusk, which is a shame when you pay $500 for a one-night hotel stay and can't fully enjoy the surroundings because of the city's drug and homeless plight. So it was an excellent property & location but sad city management of its citizens.

Beautiful! Loved staying here for work. Gorgeous interior and very friendly staff.

The hotel was very nice. The roof top bar ‘nest’ had the best views, the perfect place for a drink and snack. The hotel itself, the staff and the facilities were great but unfortunately Seattle has an issue with homelessness and drugs which was focused around this area.

Wonderful Stay at Thompson Seattle by Hyatt - extremely convenient location.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. The lobby's modern and chic design set the tone for what was a fantastic visit.
My room was a delight with breathtaking views of the Puget Sound only slightly obstructed by one building. The accommodations were stylish and comfortable and well-appointed with all the modern amenities one could hope for. The bed was sadly a bit sunken in but was generally pretty comfortable after a long day of walking around.
Dining at the Conversation first floor restaurant was a bit limited and food took a bit longer than I’d hoped to come out for just burgers and fries. The Nest offered delicious drinks and spectacular panoramic views of the city skyline and Elliott Bay, I cannot speak for the food at The Nest as I didn’t get the chance during my stay to eat there.
Location-wise, the Thompson Seattle is unbeatable. Situated just steps away from Pike Place Market and other downtown attractions, it was the perfect base for all my adventures.
Overall, my experience at the Thompson Seattle by Hyatt was nothing short of excellent. It’s an ideal choice for anyone looking for an extremely convenient location for navigating downtown Seattle with outstanding service.

Vibrating pipes (water hammer). I could hear the neighbors through the wall. Expect hidden fees not included in Expedia check out.

parking is nuts! be prepared to pay more to park than your rental car cost

Staff was fantatic and the room was very clean. Honestly, if you have a car or love to walk, it may be worth staying somewhere else. Everything was average. You are paying for the location. The restaurant is pricy, and their roof cafe is super small and crowded (ie not worth it). The location is right next to Pike Place, so if you just want to walk out the door to the tourist spots, then this hotel would work. However, it it super sketchy at night, so I wouldnt go near Pike Place after dark (there is a reason why all the vendors start packing arouns 3:30-4pm).

loved the property and the location. The room was great and the staff were wonderful. It was convenient to the market and to the hockey stadium. I was only disappointed in the deterioration of the downtown area surrounding the property. Lots of closed businesses, homeless asking for handouts and generally dirty. After all the work put into the port area it was sad to see.
