Was disappointed by the resort that is meant to be car free. In realisty yhere are cars everywhere. Hotel is also really bad value. Amazing staff though, super friendly and professional.

Ski in ski out. Amazing staff

The hotel is very well located, and it’s clean/comfortable/etc. Two issues: 1) no parking (which is fine if you reserve the nearby P2 at least a week in advance) and 2) the hotel’s elevators are pretty slow. Maybe being on the 1st or 4th floor would be good to avoid needing the elevator too often!

I was at the hotel for 2 nights, absolutely nightmare getting a parking space for my car and experienced this needs to be pre-booked long time before arrival. Reception was helpful and thank you for the shuttle service back to the carpark...the hotel is okay for a 4 star standard, good offering and services, shower cabin was very small for my quite avg size. door to the neighboring room was open, I mentioned it to the reception who took action. breakfast is avg and the location spot on for skiing in and out. expensive paying almost £200 a night.

Hotel is in a perfect location. The staff are friendly and attentive. Bed was comfy and my children loved the bunk beds. We were able to arrange a transfer from Geneva airport via the hotel which really helped us out.
The staff were kind enough to make us a breakfast package on the last day to take with us. It was huge! The locker room with boot heaters with direct access to the piste. The piste is very well kept and the free 3 enormous magic carpets made learning so much easier for my children to learn to snowboard (evolution2 are fantastic for lessons).
Only a couple of complaints. The dinner has a lot of choice for meat eaters, but I wouldn't say it's very tasty. Chips were cold and soggy, the pasta sauce was just a can of tin tomatoes. The pasta itself was undercooked.Only plus was the nice beef.
Not much choice for vegetarians, forget about vegan. I wouldnt recommend half board, just breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants close by with tasty food.
Overall the hotel is excellent. Next time I would just have breakfast included.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff

The place is run by inexperienced people. The rooms are super tiny and the picture don’t really show the hotel.
The driver was super nice and the food at the restaurant was good.

Overall great but the bed could do with more pillows and a better more comfortable bed spread. A minibar or similar would be good. Also showers not working in spa and no towels.

Overall it is a really nice hotel with great service, good bartenders at the bar and good food and the breakfast and dinner buffett. The only issue I had was that there was terrible cell service in room 504 and because of the structure of the building I also had really bad wifi. This wasn't just my cell phone provider as I used a cell phone from the US, a cell phone from the Netherlands and a sim card from the UK.
I could tell that the staff was extremely service oriented and the hotel was really nice but there are just a few things that need a bit of tweaking. The first floor between the spa and the ski locker room needs some serious ventilation, the wifi could be better and it would be nice if food was served earlier than 7pm.

Very good location right next to the slopes.
The staff for very nice and helpful.
Breakfast qas ok, dinner was not good and i recommend stay away and book the room Breakfast only.
Overall good value for the price.

Recommend hotel in prime location on the slopes of val thorens.
The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms and lobby are a bit outdated but its fine. The hotel is clean and is being cleaned frequently.
Breakfast is ok+.
Dinner is not that good, and if you arrive an hour after the opening time, there are dishes that are finished. Variety is low and the quality is also not that good...
I would recommend avoiding Dinner and do B&B only.
I would also wish there was a more cozy lobby to st and relax and have a drink after a ski day...
All in all, i recommend this hotel mainly because of the location. For the price we paid the value was good.

Location is great (perfect easy ski in/out.) Hotel staff friendly. Room was comfortable (tiny shower though) and always clean. Sauna great, good spa for massages/treatments as well.
Dinner buffet is a relatively cheap option compared to going to good restaurants. The food was decent (excellent vegetables, but disappointing proteins.) Dinner service was a few days terrible (like not asking if you want to drink something), but luckily improved the next days. Christmas dinner was great.
Overall, I think the price/quality of a few other hotels might be better, but still we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marielle.
2.5
Clean, neat, new hotel with excellent staff and a decent buffet breakfast and a well-stocked bar. Ski room very easily located on the front de neige, hotel front door on the main street.

I payed $270 for one night at this hotel. There was no tea or coffee service in the room. The shower was so small that you couldn’t bend down without bumping into the glass. Even for Europe this shower was exceptionally small. The lav faucet was loose. The toilet seat cover was unattached but sitting on top of the seat. The seat didn’t fit the rim of the toilet. The bar associated with the hotel right beneath my room cranks out music until 12 am. $270 per night and no way to make a cup of coffee in the room. For a much nicer experience and way more opulent for $100 less go down the hill to Hotel Mont du Vallon.

Great location on the slopes, unf very small rooms, literally nowhere to put your ski wear or anything else. Modest breakfasts . No sauna or pool.

it is besides the piste very convenience for ski ))

Great location. Staff were all wonderful. Everyone I met spoke good English. The room was much nicer than I anticipated and I loved having a boot dryer in the ski locker. Great for the money I paid. Thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful visit.

Ski in ski out hotel, right next to the ESF meeting point or just 300m from the ESI one, so perfect if youre having lessons. In a quieter part of town but very accessible to the centre. The hotel is basic in the rooms but fine for us. The only thing was the rooms were incredibly hot, too hot for sleeping. We werent sure about the food but were very pleasantly surprised, compliments to the chef who did a truly excellent job keeping it fresh and varied. The kids were pleased too.The heated ski lockers are brilliant. The staff were very helpful and not snotty at all like some can be with tourists.Loved Val Thorens, again, wasnt sure if we would but its good for everyone and the ski domain is enormous.
