This property was awful bed was horrible we had 4 days booked and checked out early to look for alternative accommodation

Accommodation was basic. The area it was in was the filthiest place I’ve ever been in. No Wi-Fi although it was stared to have it. Will never stay with this company again. Possibly stop using Hotels.com too. Accosted by immigrants on entering the premises. Totally unsafe for travellers

Booked a room with two beds got there only one bed for two guys to share my phone didn’t work in Italy so had problems trying to contact hotels.com the person at reception didn’t speak English or I think pretended not to speak it when I said about the bed situation just shugged his shoulders which wasn’t ideal we paid a tax as well for cleaning charges and the room wasn’t even cleaned once in 2 days I would be cautious booking this property

Very rude disappointing customer service and disappointing room

The outside of the building is no reflection on the Al Campanile B & B. When you first walk in, its almost like walking into a night club, blue lights in the floor give the entrance area a soft glow. Our room was newly renovated, very modern. Comfy bed, AC worked great(a plus since it was really hot when we were there), bathroom very well appointed. TV has Netflix(you can sign into your own account) and YouTube, for when you need to hear some English on the TV. Staff was very polite, spoke English very well, breakfast every morning was awesome. The general area at first glance seems a little depressed, but its OLD!! We walked at night with no problems. Close to the train stations. About a 20 minute walk to the touristy places. Definitely recommend.

Stay here if you like living in a jail. Had a hard time finding the entrance and when finally managed to get in the conditions were unbearable; not adequate lighting and looked like a jail. Could not stay and left the hotel right away. Booked through Expedia, which had a high rating; cant understand the basis. On top of that Expedia has refused to refund the hotel charges for one day, even though I emailed them right away explaining the situation. A rip-off!!!!!

The place in itself is really nice. The staff was very nice and the facilities inside the hotel very good. But the location was to me simply abysmal, located on the third floor of this huge appartment complex, it was first of all very hard to find. Then there is the huge square in front that is currently being destroyed/renovated, so the view is less than pleasant. The block itself and those around arent young, and with the peeling paint and disrepair.. really wasnt what I was expecting. Add to the the scraping of chairs from the upstairs neighbors lasting until about midnight and starting again as early as 6 in the morning... Im thankful that Im a hard sleeper.I overall had a good experience, the neighborhood itself didnt intimidate me and the low cost groceries were a also a plus. But I can see how for many others this would not be the same.

My stay at hotel was good but was ruined by these 2 incidents:1. Second day of my stay, the owner of the hotel made an inappropriate and insulting proposition to me purely because I was a single woman on holiday in his hotel on my own. 2. The owner of the hotel was the shuttle driver and was late in collecting me to take me to the airport at end of my stay. I had initially told the hotel staff I have to be at the hotel 3 hours before flight leaves but the hotel staff disagreed with me being collected within this time scale for me to get to airport 3 hours before. Instead she noted in hotel book for owner of hotel to come to hotel by 8:45am when my flight was at 11:20am. He arrived at 9:35am approximately and I arrived at airport just before 10am which was an hour and a half before flying out. Due to issues with my checking in at airport and how late I arrived at airport, I missed my flight! When I contacted the hotel on phone later, they did not want to know or take responsibility for how late I arrived at hotel and refused to help. When Expedia called second time, they kept hanging up and refused to speak to them. The hotel was lovely, clean, well decorated, modern and nicely refurbished and Laura & Lucia were very friendly and helpful during my stay but all this was marred by how I was treated by the owner of hotel re and by Lucia when I was at airport and tried to explain to her on the phone how they coukd have arranged for me to arrive earlier at the airport.

Hotel is a diamond in the rough! You wouldn’t imagine that someplace so beautiful and modern was hidden in a neighborhood that’s rundown and dirty. Hotel is great, neighborhood not so much.

It was very clean and unique. The photos of the inside were spot on. It did NOT show the outside, the street or the neighborhood. Also, it seems there was a restaurant or something of the sort next to our bedroom wall as chairs screeching and plates being shuffled were not pleasant to sleep to. We stayed at Air B&Bs which were great. This is not a hotel.

A room says sleep up two guests, adding another guest cost the same amount of money the room. So in case of doubled charged, don’t come here anymore

The location is very hard to find and no one answered my call for assistance. Remember they charge 25 bugs for late check in and should notify them at least 48-hours to get free shuttle to airport. In my case i booked hotel on same day and they dint provide free shuttle and arranged cab which end up paying 25 bugs. So totally not a good stay :(

Hard to find but a really nice place to stay.

The staff and owners went above and beyond what should be expected for a customer in need. Price was extremely affordable and the location was super convenient.

not much the room itself was nicely renovated as is the reception area but not what it says no tv no aircon and the plumbing needs attention i have a saurage smell in the room and faces the hwy very noisy also in a real dodgy area its in a very old apartment block something you would see in india

This lodging is not for relaxations. The walls are very thin and you get a lot of noises from neighboring rooms and from the other floors.. Then, the area of the building is in a residential vicinity. There are a lot of younger people activities (gang-like) especially at night.

The hotel is ultra Italian modern, comfortable beds, and controlled temperature environment. The location is close to train and to ferries as well as near city center. Only problem I had was with outside noise leaking in. Each night around 8pm I could hear chairs and/or tables grating across tile floors. It sounded like it came from above but the staff suggested it was the bar downstairs. Noise does filter in from outside.
4.0
When arriving to the area it looks very daunting, and the place is difficult to find as you have to press a buzzer on a large door to get in the building. But once inside the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very lovely.

Clean Hotel, close to the train station with very friendly staff.

I recommend this hotel based on what the proprietors can control the hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. Staff, friendly, helpful and good English speakers. Close to the railway station for trips to Pompei Sorrento etc.

This hotel is a little gem. Value for money and staff very friendly.

Was a great hotel for a short stay. Clean friendly. Dont judge the hotel by the building outside. Nice breakfast in the morning

Situated in a very dodgy and tower block for low-income families. I was mugged directly outside the accommodation. The interior is nice, however the plumbing is faulty with blockage and needs to be addressed. The service reception staff are friendly and informative. Breakfast is budget and the staff kept trying to only put a few pieces of food on offer as to not waste it. This meant that not everyone ate properly! There are also issues with sound, as the walls are very thin. Wifi was also very weak.
