Stayed a night. Room was normal. Breakfast was satisfactory. No complaints about the hotel and service for the price. Good location downtown

Old place in need of repairs

I liked the location of the Hotel San Francisco l. It was close enough to the Plaza without all the noise. The service was excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast and will stay there again the next time I go to Toluca.

For the price it was a 7/10. The building is run down and older but everything was very clean. They definitely clean everything well. I liked that they have smart TVs. That was a plus. We did have an issue trying to leave bags before check in. Once we talked to a manager that issue was resolved. The lobby area is nice and location is great. You can walk to the cathedral and the shops nearby. They have a good bakery in the corner.

No A/C available

No a/c ,the window too small for air to cool down the room and they don't provide a fan, also they should have more options for breakfast

The hotel is very clean! The staff is friendly. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable. The only negative comment about this hotel is that there is not air conditioning or fan, so, it can get hot inside the room.

Need maintenance
3.9
The location is great. Safe area and close to main attractions. The facilities are quite old and need maintenance. Otherwise is a good option for a night or two if you need a central place to stay for a short time.

Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable beds. 15 minutes Away from downtown.
I'll return again.

Liked the price, the layout of the room.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 7 days originally going to be 4. There is a little resturant in the hotel with a complimentary breakfast. There is an elevator. The room was quiet at night though warm at first it cooled off as the night became deeper. Beds are comfortable, though i would wish for a variety of pillow choices. The hotel lobby is nice with large rooms available for conferences . The floors are dated but clean. Did notice some updating going on on the 6th floor, maybe to be carried down to the others. Only spanish is spoken here but with limited Spanish we were easily able to communicate our needs. Every day our rooms was immaculately cleaned, fresh soaps and towels. A cute little thing i have not seen at other hotels if you are still in your room around 1030 the maid will come and ask for your used towels. Then clean the room after you have left for the day.
Walking distance to parks, shopping, resturants and historical sites.. be sure to see the botanical gardens. Only 3 blocks away and what a magical place. Its free on Wednesdays. Across the street in the inquisition torture museum. Pass this by if you dont have a strong stomach.
Found some really cute resturants within walking distance for the romantic night out or another just for a beer and burger... check out Beer and Wine 308 Garden.. excellent for just that and easy walk from hotel.
The zoological park just 30 minutes away is a wonderfull day trip. We taxied there and taxied back. Dont count on uber

Great location, big rooms, strong WiFi and amazing staff. On the downside some light maintenance would help and softer, smaller pillows, at least tne option. Pillows are quite large and hard and it was a day or so before the helpful receptionist Norbert could track down softer ones. On check-in, as requested, he gave us a super quiet room. I'd definitely stay here again. Limited set breakfast menu options for vegetarians but overall great.

The staff is nice. The hotel is fine, but for the price I paid I could get a nicer hotel. The area is a little unsafe from my point of view.

There are two positive features this hotel offers: location and fantastic water pressure. Unfortunately everything else about the hotel is extremely outdated and left much to be desired. From the moment we walked in to check in we felt like we were being interrogated to no end for details about our reservation. They claimed those details help them confirm our identity (ID check anyone?).
They also track reservations manually in a giant book. Once our reservation was tracked down we were given a key to access/lock our room (not a regular electronic hotel key, an actual key), two tv remotes wrapped in a rubber band, a WiFi password in a small cutout and another cutout for one complimentary breakfast, although we were staying there 2 nights. The room itself looked much more modern and clean in the website pictures than reality. The bed sheets didn’t smell clean and the beds were as hard as the floor, we woke up with severe back pain we’re still trying to recover from. And to top it all off, in the middle of the night it sounded like someone was jack hammering in the room next door. They claim it was the pipes. Overall not a pleasant or even decent experience, don’t recommend.

TERRIBLE!!!! It smells bad!!! The smell of the food goes all over the hotel & into the rooms & it smells nothing but onions! The carpets are filthy! Poor lighting. Theres only 4 irons in the entire hotel. They dont want to give you towels.
3.9
The hotel was okay, not bad but not great. The rooms were clean but basic. I had to ask for towels as they were not in the room.
You need your Spanish here as the staff do not speak English or other languages.
The information on the website was inaccurate - there is no concierge to help with travel or trip planning. The staff did not even have basic information such as local maps, bus routes, or local attractions. A lot of misinformation was provided.
The internet is spotty at best and is location dependent.

Breakfast was good. Hotel is just old, and smells a little like it. But it is close to everything and the breakfast was a plus.

3.9
Excelent detail atention, clean rooms, really very functional, delicious breakfast and big room with enough amenities
3.9
It was close for walking to things. That part was great.
Elevators were strange, but it was an elevator.
Front desk--???-- one girl okay with directions. One guy--no clue. Don't they live in this town? Most of the things I wanted was within .4 m.
Old, but pretty clean. No frills.
Breakfast was good--eggs and fruit. Table service--no buffet. What more do you need.
