We enjoyed our stay in this home. Spacious and had so much charm!

We had a lovely time. The house was great

Very nice stay. It was in a great location and the home was very clean and well appointed.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was conveniently located near hiking, restaurants and putt putt golf.
The upstairs bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower leaked on the floor every time we used it.

Overall the cottage was nice and spacious. The upstairs bathroom could have been a little bigger. Not very good for a handicap person to use. There were a few ants in the kitchen, I hope we all had a good time. The only problem with having two seperate spaces is that half of the family stayed downstairs during the day when we were not out, so it was not really to much togetherness, but i guess that was our problem.

We booked this house for 6-7 of our golfer friends. Two of us were a couple with 5 other women. The house was perfect!!!! Close proximity to the 3 courses we played. Clean. Nice spaces to sit—porch, living room, downstairs. Well-appointed. Comfy beds. Charming. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Very clean we loved setting on the porch and listening to the creek.

Cozy Cottage by the Creek is an appropriate name! The house accommodates a large number, yet it is not overwhelmingly large. There’s a back porch that has 4 comfortable chairs and is a great place to wake up while listening to the rolling creek. Unfortunately, this house sits extremely close to a motel which is visible from the porch. The yard is large and treed so the motel is somewhat easy to ignore. The beds are very comfortable, but most of the doors are wonky (one issue or another). The house was clean. Check in and out was very simple; however, check out is on the early side and there’s a somewhat time consuming task request list on the table. Nothing major - just strip the beds, gather towels , etc; two of us ended up doing it all because the other guests had left and the task list wasn’t super obvious. We discovered it when we were checking out. It’s a beautiful home with lots of natural stone and lovely furnishings. I notified the host about the wonky doors, so it is possible they could receive attention.

We had a delightful stay at the Cozy Cottage. Plenty of places to hang out in the house and very nice having two kitchens. Definitely consider staying again.

Charming house with lots of room for a large/multiple families. Hear downstairs was a little tricky, but we made it work! Great communication from the owner.

Spacious house that was good for a big family and very close to the tubing hill!

We so enjoyed our stay. My cousin and I traveled with our children (young adults and teens). We found the house to be so comfortable! We appreciated the quaintness of the cottage as well as the proximity to snow tubing (some of us walked). It was a wonderful winter get-away.

Many of the lights were flickering or dead. We had to go into their locked cabinet (to their knowledge) and replace. Not a big deal. But the big deal was water dripping from the light fixture above the basement steps. To that, I got no reply. There were a couple more issues. But the actual home was nice. The location was pretty good. The beds were comfortable. But the basement bedrooms were ice cold. Couldn’t get the little space heaters to work. And even if we could there were 3 bedrooms and 2 heaters. I wouldn’t return but it was serviceable.

This was our first ski vacation to Maggie Valley and we got lucky choosing this cottage. We had two families and it worked out perfectly with each level being a complete apartment. The updates to this quaint cottage are excellent. It is very cozy and inviting. The owners paid attention to small details that mean so much. The kitchens are well equipped which makes meals at rhe cottage a breeze. We will definitely be back.

Someone needs to contact me. There was a stopped up drain from both kitchens. Unable to use either one. Showers had not been cleaned and plumbers left the floors a mess. Plumbers worked on issue the day we arrived, left and said it was better. But it flooded the basement right away. We had to clean up the mess and deal with no kitchen. Wes offered a refund but I haven't heard from you. I don't want this published but I do want a response and compensation. We usually enjoy staying at Cozy Cottage. It has become a family tradition but this one turned into a bad situation right away.

Great location ! House was very clean and large enough for all of us to spread out ! We saw two elk right outside the kitchen window . Would love to go back next year .

This house went beyond our expectations. From booking to enjoying our stay inside and out. We had an awesome stay. We all agreed and are discussing doing it again next year.

Comfortable, clean, peaceful property. Our family enjoyed our stay.

This home is as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. The space is perfect for a family with teens or two families traveling together. The location is “off the parking lot” of a small hotel and on a main road, so it’s not as secluded as some may want, but it was great for us. The creek on the property provided HOURS of fun for our teens, and there are so many ideal places to enjoy a book or quiet conversation. We even had a visit from a small herd of elk one morning. The whole set up lends itself to quality family time and exploring the beautiful area. Wes was really helpful in the planning stages, and the gifts of wine and snacks were much appreciated. We hope to be back again. (FYI - our first VRBO experience was horrible, and VRBO was not helpful, so I swore them off. I’m glad I gave it another try.)

We loved this property. The space is well equipped for larger groups. The yard was perfect for kids to play. The interior spaces were comfortable and allowed for our group to hang out collectively or find our own spaces for down time. Driving distance to all of Maggie Valley’s iconic spots and an easy commute to Waynesville restaurants, Blue Ridge parkway, Great Smoky Mtns National Park, Cherokee and more. Wes was responsive when we needed something and made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you!

I rented this house for a family get away. It was my parents wedding anniversary and my sisters and I decided to have a family vacation all together. This house was plenty big for everyone. We wanted to go to Maggie Valley so my parents could shop, ride the mountains, and go to some places they hadnt seen in 40 years. The house was easily accessible for our elderly adults due to having main floor access. The bottom floor or basement floor was accessible from the outside or from inside stairs. Both floors had a livingroom, kitchen,
one bathroom and bedrooms. Overall everyone enjoyed the house and the location. It is convenient to shops, restaurants and entertainment. I would higjly recommend this home.

A group of 8 visited the last week of May. Convenient to all Maggie Valley has to offer. We rode the BRP, visited Wheels through Time, enjoyed all the beautofl motorcyle riding the area has to offer. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Wes was great to communicate with, he was very responsive to my messages. We even saw an elk in the yard! Definitely would stay again!

The pictures for this listing don’t do this home justice. Every room was absolutely perfect. The beds were comfortable, and everything felt really clean! Downstairs we found some of the kids’ favorite snacks waiting for them and plenty of games to keep them entertained at night! I have already shared this listing with multiple friends recommending they stay here and we are planning to come back this summer!

We had 8 adults for a “cousins weekend” and this place was perfect! Location was great, access was terrific and every single one of us said we would stay here again! We truly enjoyed our visit!

Our family rented your home to come together and meet our new addition Miss Stella Grace . We had family come from coastal NC, California and Ohio to meet and enjoy our new member. We enjoyed the convenience of being in the middle of town where we could access everything yet quiet enough to have a peaceful morning on the porch. The beds were super comfy and the pillows were awesome. We would definitely stay again. We had my parents who are in their late 70's and they were very comfortable as well. They could drive right under the carport and be at the back door. With the 2 living spaces and kitchens it was nice so the teenagers and young adults didn't feel like they were keeping their grandparents awake. The majority of the appliances and furniture looks brand new and super comfortable. Thanks again for allowing us to meet as a family and enjoy your home!
