Such a peaceful place to stay and visit!

Upon pulling into the community we thought we must be lost. The homes were rundown and the neighborhood didn’t feel welcoming. When we arrived at the home it seemed like it could use a lot of work.
When we got inside it felt stuffy and dated. The wide angle lens camera added a lot of space to the pics online. There was a HUGE bang upstairs so we went to investigate and a book was lying in the hallway (paper side down) outside of all of the bedrooms. It was very weird. The sound that we heard was not from a book falling and the book somehow made a turn and came out of a bedroom into the hallway. The book was not in the hallway when we first looked upstairs. We were freaked out! The vibes in this home didn’t feel right. We left immediately and forfeit our stay.

My wife and I are a big “staycation” couple. We are also all about spending time with our families. This trip was due to my 3 Aunts from Ohio coming to visit for the first time since we moved here 8 years ago. My daughter in law and 2 granddaughters joined us and my youngest son came from across the state. When we pulled up the drive to the home we were in awe on how beautiful it was. The wrap around porch was amazing. As we opened the doors and walked inside we immediately felt at home . It was very warm and inviting. The amount of beds were perfect and all the amenities that were provided were a bonus as we always bring totes of items we may need. The firepit was relaxing and the views of the water were gorgeous . We did not use the kayaks on this trip as the temps were abit chilly. The use of the BBQ grill was appreciated. My 3 year old granddaughter did not want to leave …… neither did the rest of us. I loved sitting in the rocking chairs, watching the sunrise and not thinking about anything else. Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home. If allowed , we will return!!!!

Our experience in this house was excellent! As a group of seven, made up of three generations of family members, we ranged in different needs for each of us and yet the house accommodated us all comfortably.
We greatly enjoyed the view of the lake from the house, as well as the ability to go kayaking! The pier located on the lake was also very nice to sit and relax on, and we often took down cards to play games down there.
The bonfire pit was marvelous and also huge! We toasted about two packs of marshmallows during our stay!
The house is designed beautifully and the amenities were top-notch. The high-tech appliances and video game room were a great plus! It was a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations.
When we weren’t busy using up the attractions of the house, we also visited some touring attractions! We spent a day on the Rainbow Springs River by renting a boat from a local of the town, Robert (3523258876), who was very knowledgeable and recommended a wonderful, serene path for our boat tour. The location is perfect and close enough to the town for shopping or restaurants, too!
The owners were able to provide such a wonderful experience to all of us, providing for us when necessary and meeting our needs perfectly. Truly very accommodating and hospitable people! Sincerely, thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed every thing about this home. The decor so tasteful throughout, the scenery is amazing, the home was clean, accommodating and perfect for our weekend getaway! Its a 10 minute (or less) drive to the river, and all local restaurants that we frequent. Sitting on the porch having coffee was my favorite, it did not feel like we were in Florida! We will definitely return! Five stars!!

This house was an amazing escape for my fiance and i. We will be returning with the kids to share the experience. Great local places to eat. Try them all. We took our paddleboards to Swampys for lunch. It was about a 5 hr paddle roundtrip but easily worth it. Save some energy to get back up to the house. Lol. The property manager reached out plenty of times to see if we needed anything which was a very nice touch, however we could ask for nothing more. We will be returning to enjoy this beautiful property and local food shortly.

There was plenty of space for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids to relax and enjoy the riverfront view.
The kids enjoyed the gaming room, but they unplugged quite a bit to enjoy nature! The kayaks were well enjoyed!
The back porch offers a serene setting to read and unwind.
The river where the house sits is not a swimming spot, but a 13 minute drive can get you to the head springs of the Rainbow River where you can swim, tube, or kayak.
Our family really enjoyed the stay!
