Many daytime Silverthorne, CO, events are centered around holidays. Just when you think Charlie Brown has given up the ghost, Pumpkinfest invades the North Lawn of the pavilion. Kids of all ages are invited to search for their favorite orange gourd while wearing this season’s best costumes. The Holiday Bazaar as a Silverthorne, CO, daytime event happens in early December just in time for the gift-giving season. Local artisans show off their wares, and Santa’s lap is available while he waits patiently to hear children’s requests. Summertime at Meadow Creek Park or Trent Park Pond begins a partnership between Trout Unlimited and the youngest anglers in town for the Silverthorne Fishing Derby. Divided into age groups (up to 15 years old), your tots and teens will be happy and successful because the Department of Wildlife stocks the pond each season. Building on these early skills, kids move on to North Pond where catch-and-release fly-fishing using artificial lures and flies builds techniques for this fishing discipline. Rainbow Park hosts the annual Slide & Slip party. Just like it sounds, kids get wet and fly down the hill at Rainbow Park. Silverthorne dogs get in on the fun, too. Each season before the rec center pool closes for annual maintenance, Fido and friends are invited to go for a dip.
With Lake Dillon just minutes away there’s no shortage of fun water-based activities. But many Silverthorne, CO, daytime events take place at the rec center’s three pools and kids’ fun areas. Each year, locals get wet to participate in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. This Guinness Book-sanctioned, multiple-location event builds awareness about the vital importance of teaching swimming skills to prevent drowning. And springtime is not for landlubbers when the rec center holds its annual Pirate Water Safety Day. Young swimmers embark on the silver seas to find treasure and to reinforce basic water skills.

My family of four drove from Denver to stay two nights here with another family of four. We could not have been more impressed with the house, and loved the location in the neighborhood, as well as the views from almost every window in the house and off the back deck. The house is very well stocked with everything you need for cooking. There is comfortable furniture throughout the home, the beds and sheets are high quality, and the bathrooms are loaded with soaps, towels, everything you could think of to make you truly feel at home. The communication with property management is excellent, too. We would stay here again without hesitation!

The house is ideally located for many different ski resorts and mountain towns. It was a quick drive to Breckenridge and also Copper Mountain. The house had everything we needed and more to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains. The hot tub was a massive hit after a fun ski day. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials to cook a great meal. I will 100% be back to stay!

Great for our entire family. Exceeds expectation from the listing. After skiing, hot tub was much needed and worked great. Will book again!

Brought our adult children and their spouses up for some skiing and together time. This property had plenty of room to spread out when you needed privacy and plenty of gathering space for games and conversations. Kitchen was outstanding and we cooked some great meals there in the evenings. Short drive to Keystone and plenty of shopping nearby for gifts. Highly recommend!

Everyone in our group had great things to say about this rental. It had every option anyone would need, and lots of snow to go with it! We appreciate the details but if I had to nit-pick, I would mention the wifi password was a little confusing because it was printed in all caps. But overall, 10/10!

This home is better than advertised. Very nice, has every amenity, and is very close to stores in Silverthorne. The views were beautiful. The location is perfect. Very easy to get to in the winter. 25-35 depending on weather and traffic from Breckenridge. Highly recommend staying here.

This was our first time at this property. We can’t emphasize enough how beautiful the setting is, plus there are too many things to list about how the Owners thought of every nuance!! A wonderful get away for any group!! Highly recommend!!! Five Stars!

The home was exactly what we needed! We were celebrating a milestone for our family and enjoyed every space the home had to offer. We had fun as a whole family as well as tranquility when needed. It is located in a peaceful area with an awesome view. Definitely planning on returning. Thank you for the quick response to my questions!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is roomy but cozy. A perfect home to relax or entertain guests. The house was immaculate when we arrived and was everything we had hoped for. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The attention to detail that the owners have given to make guests comfortable was amazing - from the housewares, spices in the kitchen to the soaps, shampoos, lotions in the bathrooms. And we haven't even mentioned the stunning views of the mountains.! It was truly a treat to stay there and we would certainly love to go back.

We usually rent properties like this for summer fun or winter skiing, but this was a fantastic home of an off-season family getaway. Could not have had more fun. So much to do and a great home to come back to. The home was clean and check-in easy. Unbelievable views from the deck and hot tub - such a lovely space to have meals or enjoy a glass of wine. Looking forward to visiting this home again in the winter surrounded by white peaks!

This was just what we needed. Great layout and family friendly. Open floor plan allowed out family to have good bonding time. The hot tub was definitely a bonus.
Close to freeway and food/restaurants
Close to TONS of outdoor activities, lake, hiking and golf!
Will definitely be coming back!

As Colorado residents, we have been vacationing in the Silverthorne area for over 15 years. Our stay at Eagle’s Nest Escape has easily been one of our best experiences. The home is stunning, easy to access from 70, extremely well maintained, FULL of amenities and close to all the trails, lakes, restaurants and other activities.
We had guests of all ages and we were so thrilled that all guests had comfortable, private spaces to sleep. It was so nice not to have to worry about waking the “little’s” up at night while playing games (provided by the host!) or waking up the teens in the morning when cooking breakfast in the well stocked gourmet kitchen.
We cooked a few meals and were so happy to find the host provided cooking essentials (oils, spices ect). The open layout of the kitchen made it so easy to prepare meals while hanging with everyone. Between the expensive dining table and counter seating, there was plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy meals all together.
The views from literally every window in the house were stunning. There is a huge back deck with a hot tub, plenty of seating to enjoy the views and it all felt very tucked away in a private setting. The main living area was so bright and open with lots of comfy seating.
The host did an amazing job of adding personal touches to make our stay so enjoyable. Eagle’s Nest Escape is much more than the average mountain rental. Perfect balance of a beautiful home in a private setting that is so close to all of the activities the area has to offer. We will be booking our winter stay ASAP!

So clean and well-equipped and the views are amazing! The host was friendly and quick to respond. The location is close to amenities and there is so much to do in the area; just as described. We will definitely be back!

Home was very comfortable and well stocked. I appreciated all the amenities. It had everything that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! Location very convenient to lots of activities.

We loved our stay in this home with our large family. It was extremely clean and and I especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen that had everything our group needed for cooking and serving, (a real bonus since many of the places we have stayed have had minimal cooking and serving items). The home was easy to get to, felt very private from the neighbors and had spectacular views from every level. I am very particular about the cleanliness of hotels, beds etc, and this place felt new, with clean bedding and bathrooms. The kids loved the separate first floor hangout space, and I personally spent a large amount of time in the huge hot tub and enjoying the mountain views from my deck chair!.
This is the first time we stayed in Silverthorne, and found it to be really convenient with lots of amenities, (and a fabulous Italian restaurant along the walking trail). Some of our group went fishing and we rented paddle boards at Green Lake Reserve which was really fun. I feel like we discovered a secret, since the town was not crowded like Breck with easy parking. We can’t wait to return in winter and access the many ski resorts.

House was perfect; clean and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our time here. Great location! Plenty to do. We highly recommend!
