About this house rental
Hello!
We just purchased this duplex late June 2022 and there are a lot of things that I haven't yet had the time or money to have fixed. I'm sure that doesn't sound terribly appealing but everything works I promise :) I'll be down here for a few months at a time, splitting time between here and our place in Ft Collins, CO. While I'm not here I thought it'd be neat to let someone else use it and help move up the timeline on the upgrades. Pricing hopefully reflects this.
This place is small at 900 sqft with 2 beds and 1 bath. In my opinion, the limiting factor is the bathroom. It's pretty small and I'd be reluctant to try to squeeze four people in there but maybe you don't need that much space. I have a few things coming to try to help with more storage but they're not yet here/installed. Current pictures were scraped from the listing, I'll update in the next few days - hopefully the lighting allows
In the Village of Oak Creek (aka VOC) roughly 5 miles from Uptown Sedona is where you'll find this place. Maybe a quarter mile to the Oak Creek Country Club (several other nice courses nearby), less than a mile to the village grocery (Clark's) and many reeeeeeallly good restaurants. You won't be too far from all of the neat things to do in the area but also won't have to deal with the congestion of Sedona proper.
*** I'm only able to offer 30+ day rentals at the moment (city restrictions, HOA restrictions and possibly state). Please contact me with questions about this as we may be able to figure something out.

We stayed in Jon's duplex for six weeks. It had everything you need for a short or long term stay and was very comfortable. It was walking distance to the Bell Rock pathway and, being in Oak Creek, very close to many hiking trails. Jon was wonderful to work with. While there is not a view from the duplex, you can get to a view quickly on a walk around the neighborhood. And we enjoyed a nice outdoor space. We liked being in the small village of Oak Creek which has a grocery store and restaurants and is so much quieter than Sedona which is still a quick drive away.

My Husband and I had a lovely 2 month stay at Jon's Duplex. The Duplex is located in a really quiet neighborhood a block off of a beautiful golf course. The tenant in the connecting duplex is really quiet and friendly.
The owner Jon is a really good communicator and is working hard to get this place the way he would like it to be. Jon has a well equipped kitchen for long stays. This rental worked well for our 2 month stay and for a couple weeks we had some friends come stay with us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Give it a try you, can't go wrong!

Jon was an amazing host! My husband and I stayed at Jon’s place for a month and absolutely loved it! You can tell Jon went above and beyond to make the place homey and outfitted the house and kitchen with everything you might need - we especially enjoyed the blender for margaritas! We loved the location for hiking and biking. The house is located in the sweetest little neighborhood, within walking distance of the golf course, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. We really enjoyed walking the golf course in the mornings and watching the sun rise over the red rocks. The backyard was amazing for grilling out and having a campfire. 10/10 experience! We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!
