That the way to the Basel Messe was not that far away.

It was not really clean... Also an power outlet was broken... It was too expensive for all that. It was loud even with closed windows. The remote controle was broken.

Disappointing

The beds were really uncomfortable. The room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny as well, and it was not clean. Even the floor was dusty. The self check-in was not available at the time, so check-in was quite inconvenient.

Great place for a short stay!

The rooms were nice and clean. There were no noise during the evening and we had everything we needed in the room. The hotel was close to everything and we had no problems walking into the center of the city.

While you get a private toilet in the room, it's not that privat if you share it with a friend or a new flirt. You can hear everything that's going on in the toilet.

Unable to access room, sent to a different hotel

We arrived and had to check in at a different hotel. The code we were given to open our room did not work and there is no reception. We had to call the number from Booking.com and wait for a staff member to come out. He was unable to access our room. There were no spare rooms and we were unable to stay in the EasyHotel!! We had to stay else where and didn’t get to bed until very late due to all the messing around. Very disappointing.

Good value for money. Easy to check in and the location is perfect right next to Messeplatz

The room was extremely small, we also booked 2 single beds and of course had to get a room that had a double bed

The price was convenient for a hotel in Switzerland. It was properly clean.

The self check-in machine was broken so I had to go to another hotel for the check-in. The double bed isn't a double bed, it's two mattresses instead of one on a double bed. It was near a very noisy street, but I slept well because I was too tired. It good for one night but not longer.

Good location, pretty close to the "Badischer Bahnhof" train station. Tram stations nearby.

The lack of air conditioning. It was a very hot day in Basel and the room temperature was too high, it was difficult to fall asleep.

Self-check my ass

We specifically chose this accommodation because it had self check-in and we didn’t know at what time we’d arrive (after 10 pm). We didn’t want the hassle of having to call the hotel to make sure there’d be someone there. As it turned out the self check-in machine was broken and had to check-in at a different hotel. At the hotel there was no one there and had to wait 10 minutes for somebody to come. However, our names were not on the list so we couldn’t get a key to the hotel. The man (from the Alexander Hotel) was nice enough to offer us a room at their hotel (which was a lot nicer than the EasyHotel one). The point of booking a room with self check-in was to have the least amount of worries after a long day of driving. So it was frustrating to have to go through this whole ordeal.

There were no tea and coffee facilities but we knew this before the booking was made.

a convenient stay that turned inconvenient

rooms are very convenient for a short stay

the self check in was out of order; which is inconvenient when you arrive at midnight and all you want is just go to bed. you had to go to a hotel nearby, which isn’t a problem as long as you don’t have to much luggage but once you get there there is also no 24h reception & you have to call and wait for at least another 10min. since you get into the rooms with a code why don’t you just send the info straight to the customer ?

The restaurant underneath it.

No reception, no staff, no air conditioning or fan, bathroom was small. soap dispenser was empty
