Even though its located in the main street you can relax in absolute quit. Comfy garden gives this place really nice vibe. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We liked our stay very much and could recommend it

The feel of this place was so nice. It's right in town and accessible to everything, but you walk through the door and it feels calm and serene. The breakfasts was good. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, close to everything, nice garden, drinking water dispenser, shower gel and shampoo dispenser in the bathroom, room was cleaned daily, hot water, aircon in the room, good wifi, staff was helpful with any inquiries we had.
The room is basic and the breakfast was really basic too, bed is rather queen than double.

We stayed here twice (at the beginning and end of our Galapagos trip having travelled to other islands in between). Our first stay was fantastic in room 16 which was very private and quiet with excellent shower and small outdoor seating area overlooking the garden. It was beyond our expectations and so we booked our second stay as a direct result of the great first stay. Unfortunately when we returned we were a little disappointed. We were in room 12 which is a little dated with a loud air con unit and an electric shower that fluctuates continually between hot and cold meaning you need to jump in and out. We were very conscious of trying to use minimal water (given water shortages on the island) but it was hard not to waste water in this shower. Our second room was also close to the entrance meaning it was more noisy and less private but we were close to the garden and communal hammocks which was a bonus. The gardens are so relaxing and feel like a little oasis so close to the hustle and bustle of Avenida Charles Darwin. The staff are lovely and the breakfasts are fantastic. The staff helped us to book a few taxis and also gave great advice for a walk to Media Luna. Overall we were happy with both stays but the second room did not quite live up to the expectations we had after our first stay unfortunately (and I believe we even paid a bit more per night for the second room).
See above comments re our second room (room 12)

It was our second time, we came back because we enjoyed so much the first time
Second time our room was not so good, less space and strange disposition but it was ok for just one night

I liked my time at this well-suited bed and breakfast. It's downtown and proximity to many attractions. I have no issues recommending this place for anyone interested in a short stay in Santa Cruz.
No issues.

Super cute property! We loved hanging out on the hammocks. Wifi worked reasonably well. Filtered drinking water and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. Nice breakfast in the morning and very centrally located - sea lions on the street right outside. Would come back.
Room and bathroom did feel a bit cramped.

Fantastic location, lovely place, very friendly staff. Loved our stay!
Beautiful, quite and great location.

Great location, easy to find, quiet evwn though it is on one of the main streets in Puerto Ayora. Staff was helpful with recommendations and they stored my luggage for ne for 3 days while I traveled to Isabela.

Great location in the centre of Puerto Ayora. Rooms are very well furnished and equipped and the hotel staff keeps them very clean. Breakfasts are good as well and will help you to start off your day of adventures in Galapagos.

very nice courtyard, great staff including the very nice folks that prepared a generous breakfast each morning starting by making from scratch home made bread daily!
location was great, around the corner from a bank and the most famous small fish market that showcases sea lions at the prep areas.
can’t think of anything

Very helpful friendly host, comfortable stay, good location. During the stay my wife needed urgent medical care as she had serious eye problems at night. The staff brought us to the hospital emergency. Lucky she got medical care so we could continue our travel.

This was our favorite hotel on our trip to the Galapagos. It's like a little oasis in the middle of the busyness in Santa Cruz. We stayed here one night and then headed to Isabela. When we returned to Santa Cruz later, we stayed at a different hotel for a couple of nights. We weren't happy there so we returned to La Peregrina and we were glad that we did that. The property is beautifully landscaped. The guest rooms are in a stand-alone building that's more or less in the middle of the property. We met Ingela, the host/manager, and she was very friendly. All of the staff and breakfast servers were nice.
On our 2nd stay here, we could hear the next door neighbors a little too much. We closed the bathroom door and that helped.

The breakfast was delicious. It was coffee, juice, egg, oatmeal, fruit, bread, butter and jam every morning.
The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked well. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. There was plenty of room for luggage and storage. There was a TV but we didn't use it.
The property is adorable with wrap around covered wood decking, tables and chairs, hammocks for relaxing, salon for congregating larger groups, and beautiful flowers manicured throughout.
They provide free filtered water, a communal refrigerator, and room service each day.
It is perfectly situated on the main street but no noise is heard from within. Bring beach towels unless you're going on a tour.
All of the staff were exceptional!!😁🤗. The owner and her husband go out of their way ensuring all guests are happy.
Recommend booking tours through Alexandra. Check with front desk for contact information.
Nothing!

The location of the hotel was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was great. Having AC was a huge bonus given the unusually hot weather. Breakfast was also excellent, with more than enough food provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Property is lovely and very well taken care of. Very private and quiet. Location is walkable distance to main pier where ferries and tours are located. We got a taxi when carrying our luggage. Hotel is short walk across street to boardwalk by the water. Room very clean with small front patio and chairs. Air conditioning and hot water worked well. Internet worked-most of the time:)

Nice and helpful staff. Perfect location.
No wi-fi in rooms..only poor connection at the reception. I was not able to work at all and had no chances to make work calls.
Small breakfasts with no choice.
No beach towels.

Very nice place, the staff were super kind. The place was always clean. It has a lot of green areas which is always appreciated, and lovely hammocks where you can chill after a day of a full day tour. It also has one of the best locations ever! Right on Charles Darwin street!

It was clean and had a code to get in so it felt very safe. All of the workers were extremely kind and helpful. They had shampoo, body wash, and fresh towels every day, and they cleaned every day. Definitely great value!
It was closer to the expensive restaurants- not the more local stuff. It was a great place, but I’d probably try to find something closer to the malecón (pier) next time.
