Was very disappointed with this property. Room was not maintained well! Sink was clogged, toilet did flush properly and air conditioner did not work in room! Difficult to get dinner reservations they claim they were always booked and full!

The cleanliness and staff were great. Just know the water park is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance. That was the only day we left to stay on site the whole time so a little bummer there. That’s the only comment. Food is great for an all inclusive, will go back.

The property is well maintained and very clean. We spent 6 days and had a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing experience. Would definitely revisit.

I always have a good time a Riu resorts, however this time at punta Cana it did not live up to what I’m used to. I had to constantly ask for towels and wash cloths. Had to remind the front desk that housekeeping forgot to add pillow cases and etc. room service never came one day. Nelson and alba are great. They are at the front desk and they go above and beyond to rectify any issues you may have. Nelson changed my room two times until I was satisfied with the room. The first room they put me in had no air, smelled like mildew and no tv remote. The second one, the A/C wasn’t getting cool, finally he upgraded me and apologized for the inconvenience and the third was a charm. Overall I give Nelson and alba 5⭐️ but the resort 3 stars. They need to improve a lot of things.

The resort was very clean, the staff were beyond attentive and the variety of food was perfect with a family of five with different palettes. Our family travels a lot and the friendliness of the staff was unmatched. The staff asked daily as they saw us if we were happy with our stay and anything we mentioned that needed attention, they took care of it promptly. We will definitely be returning. We LOVED all the staff.

I would like to say big thank you for RIU resort staff and facility for our great vacation. I would like to be honest and leave my experience and review below : Pros : Delicious food many options All you can eat buffet a la Carte ( Italian American French and Asian ) You don’t need reservations to get into restaurants Beach nice sand and water with plenty of palm trees for shade and space for you to relax Very friendly employees Cons The hotel and property is huge so if you are up for tons of walking if not I wouldn’t recommend Room service responded but in ten days I called 4 times and only one time got service I asked for snacks to be brought up to the room and it took over an hour Following I requested some loungers service and salad which I was promised and never resided any of it . I believe because the property is huge with thousands of guests they just can’t keep up . In which they need to remove the room service as an option The water park and other amnesties that was part of the resorts were good 20 minute walk which with baby on a heat is super uncomfortable. I think if property had golf carts or some shuttle around the properties and between some ameneotes that would be helpful . Rooms unfortunately not cleaned the best I found someone’s nail in the night stand , some hair in the sheets . For four people we were given two towels only which we had to ask for extras . Soaps and shampoos are refilled not all times you have to remind the ladies

Had an amazing time at the RIU Palace. The rooms were a bit outdated and because it was so humid, the room & sheets felt wet 24/7. Other than that, food was great, staff were awesome, the location was LOVELY, the entertainment was on point. I would definitely visit again!!!

The conditions for HANDICAP tourist is terrible. My husband was unable to walk due to a knee injury prior to our trip. All the Restaurants are in the ground floor & there was NO ELEVATORS only ramps. The architects and engineers need to revisit this design at RIU PALACE PUNTA CANA.

The hotel and the dinning areas had a terrible mold smell. The plates and glasses in the dinning area always had food residues, were never clean. The hotel room and bathroom had rusted appliances( mirror, shower head, night light etc) . The beach had a lot of seaweeds and the pool water was so warm to the point it was uncomfortable. This is not a 5 star hotel . It’s far from that . The waterpark was very inconvenient also . You had to get out of the hotel and walk like 10 minutes to go there. And then when u would get there everything was too basic. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who’s looking for a 5 star service.

I liked the atmosphere of people and the way the staff was involved with making it a very enjoyable fun experience. I didn’t like that the doctor on site didn’t have tools to assess anyone needing medical attention.

The outlet to charge phone needs upgrade. The charger was not working on them. Also, the restaurants were hard to get in. Every time we go to the Japanese restaurant, they are full and can’t take more people. Even though you go 6pm upon opening, they are full, which was little bit upsetting. Overall I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5.

Lovely property, most staff members were excellent and very accommodating. Food and entertainment was just ok. Riu would benefit by establishing some programs to pull teens together to meet and participate in organized activities. Something similar to cruise ships... where there are age grouped activities. This would be a small investment that could help teens better meet, engage, and make connections. The ROI on that would be significant.

Riu palace punta Cana was an extremely pleasant surprise! The staff around the property( restaurants,pool, room service) staff very nice and helpful. The food at la elisabete amazing great options to choose from. The rooms could use a little work due to the strong smell of mold and a huge leak in the room we stayed. We took the videos and pictures to the front desk they didn’t do anything until we spoke to manager next day.

I really loved this property it was huge and there was never not something to do. The food was great and the serving staff in the main dining buffet was awesome, Kind and helpful. The swim up pool was the place to be. The bar staff there was always happy and willing. Beautiful staff that kept the rooms and the grounds in perfect clean condition.

The welcome is fine but then later only buffet that is not a waoooo is able for eating because the few restaurants are full all the time because is a very huge hotel to have very small restaurants that fit only few table , I dident have the chance to enjoy any specialty restaurants, also pools are very regular pool without jacuzzi or music, not entertainment or music , beverages are poor quality and the only good service to be honest are in the buffet because every time I try to get space on any specialty restaurant the customer service was terrible and the only word they know is RESTAURANTS ArE FULL, also unfortunately my son have an issue on the beach and nothing came or any lifeguard was there , thanks to some tourists that save my son, in my experience, TERRIBLE, I don’t come back, and to end , the activities out of the hotel like buggies or katamaran to isla saona was terrible too because the people try to stop every 5 mins to pushing to spend money on locals store and the tour guíe was so rude asking for tips every time, I don’t recommend tours at all, terrible, in one word TERRIBLE

There was 33 of us in all .The only thing I liked is access to all the area of the property. Food were limited,room were not clean at all( sheet were never changed during my stayed , I known because my wife is having lashes on and she found her lashes after it’s was changed.This is my third time to Dominican Republic. I will be back but not Riu pace in Dominican Republic

I don’t like to give a bad review but we found cockroaches in te room I know sometimes this happens but in the food tables in the buffet? It’s not acceptable for me.
