Well located hotel with excellent views and away from the city center, which can be a noisy. The room was clean and cozy. We didn't like the bed; It was hard and the pillows were uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice and pleasant.
2.5
The hotel was located so we could walk to all the attractions in town. The room was spacious and clean and we had a nice view of the fortress from the patio. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the on-site restaurant was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location

Staff very helpful. Room comfortable. Yum breakfast. Tavolo caldo really convenient! A little far from beach/town but taxis were available, and staff always happy to book. Lovely big balcony in the room with a sea view.

Great little hotel, quite rooms, good firm bed, great water pressure, modern, easy parking. Daniele was of great help getting there and checking in. Breakfast was good, a lot of choices. Walking distance to Cefalu, and there is a great for sunset pizza restaurant on the way by the lighthouse.

very nice hotel, great friendly service, and pretty clean.
also, the restaurant is fantastic.
only negative was that the cleaning lady came by super late (after 2), when we were already back in the room for a nap and never cleaned the room or changed the sheets.
other than that a great stay.

The hôtel was great very convenient parking and location. (20 minutes walk to the old town)
The breakfast was ok, you need to arrive early if you want the good stuff.
Not sure if the tap water was drinkable.
Overall good experience, but pricy for what you get.

This was the most comfortable accommodation out of 5 and the compact room was well designed with a very good bathroom .
The breakfast was excellent and staff friendly

Great location, 10 mins walk to old town. Comfortable and clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Convenient parking (useful as no vehicle access to old town).

Staff are nice and friendly.

Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the renovated rooms which were comfortable. Small details were missing such as towel hooks and do not disturb signs. Breakfast was average. Overall a decent stay.

Hotel is ok, regular breakfast. Walkable, but not close proximity to the center/old town, approximately 25-30 minutes. Same about beach - approximately 20-25 minutes… sound proofing should be addressed, can hear any noise from next door rooms. Wouldn’t stay more than 1-2 nights. Chefalu is a good base town to visit Palermo.

Very good and nice hotel close to the one beach an hidden bay (blue bay) ... very nice and helpfull staff - awesome view and quiet location close to boat rentals. 10-15 min. Walk to town city .. nice restaurants and the way. Nice cafe next to the hotel with locals.

Room was large and balcony was nice to have to sit out and enjoy. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.
Decor in room was a little dated but key issue is location. It is a good 15-20 mins walk to Cefalu and the beach. There is a restaurant next to hotel which is good but others are a good walk away too.
2.5
Thoughtful and attentive staff; friendly and welcoming. Locals hang out at the outdoor restaurant, adding great neighborhood feel,.

The hotel was great! Anna(the owner/staff) was so kind and helped us with everything we needed. The room was large and with a beautiful balcony with ocean view. The hotel is located 10-15 min outside of the city center but the walk there is very nice right by the ocean. Breaktfast was great too! Recommend!
2.5
Comfortable beds, large balcony, nice walk to centre and good food next door. The best feature are the staff who will try to help you as best as they can! We hope to returned again in the future.

Standard condition, good buffet breakfast (Italian style) and free parking.

Hotel needs maintenance, broken bathroom mirror and moldy grout in shower. No lift makes it very hard to bring luggage to room, staff watched me struggle without offering help. Breakfast was not very good. Parking is a rodeo! They have room but let bar patrons take all the spots. They should have 1 spot reserved for each room they have rented. Just use temporary signs... if room is rented put up the sign “reserved for hotel patrons” or something like that. It was a real paid to drag luggage from a muddy upper parking area.

This hotel was perfect! It was close enough to walk to all the major sights in Palermo but far enough away to escape from the tourist noise and traffic. We decided to stay an extra night!! Loved this place!

Dirty dirty dirty...’floor is left disgusting in room to the point foot prints of dirt will stain bedding. I was also charged and treated like shit when 1 friend droppedMe off home to be safe “..They asked for more money!!!! Even shoved the hotel discount in my face for working for Expedia.com.. I wouldn’t even stay here if you paid me.. run run run !!!! This place is a dishonest shit hole

Super friendly and helpful staff even if nobody spoke English - no problems at all.
Rooms were clean, comfy enough and breakfast was ok.

A little dated but clean & comfortable and a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the town centre. There is a handy bar/coffee shop next door.

I booked this based on the good ratings, and on premises parking availability, for 1 night while traveling for business. The owners perosnally run their hotel and take pride. It is very clean and maintained well. My only issue was the bed was harder than usual-- Italian beds and pillows are known to be hard and their towels are known to be thin. There is a great cafe right next door that is owned by the hotel where you can get a quick lunch or snack for a very decent price. I had a dish of pasta, a beer and took away a large bottle of water for 8.50 euro.

Spent a week here and had a very pleasant stay. The breakfasts were good and the room was perfectly adequate and had a small private terrace with sea view. Couple of minor irritations with the bathroom (e.g. extractor fan worked only intermittently) but overall good value and comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. The 15/20 minute walk into town was not strenuous and had good views. Wifi worked fine in the room.

3 night stay whilst travelling Sicily. Booked last minute & got a great deal. Staff really friendly, room clean & sea view. Bathroom tiny, shower very small.
Breakfast adequate & great bar next door for drinks & snacks.
Good 20 minute walk, along the sea into the centre & we used the car for the beach. This didn't bother us but might be a problem for those less mobile

Travelled alone, stayed one week in late October, there were very few other guests. On arrival was offered choice of front (overlooking sea) or rear (overlooking open fields) and was told that the rear was quieter. Took the rear and was pleased that balcony was so quiet and private.
Staff very helpful, willing to pass the time of day with me - I speak fluent Italian, which obviously helped.
Gave me maps and timetables to help with getting around.
Dining room open on my 1st morning, had breakfast there, charged 3 Euros for it. Thereafter, dining room closed (end of season?) and guests used cafe next door for breakfast. Good sized cafe, large balcony, run by same family as hotel, enormous range of snacks and some limited evening food available, plus newspapers, tobacco etc.

Cefalu is a delightful place and the hotel was mentioned on signs, so wasn't too difficult to find. It's quite far from the lovely old town, so be prepared to hike, or drive in. However, it's in a quiet setting which was good for sleeping. The staff is friendly, and when we checked in, the lady at the desk spoke good English and was very helpful in providing us with maps and information. Breakfast was the usual, but the coronetos were a bit stale, and the cappachino, etc, came out of a machine, so tasted watery. Our room was basic, and the shower only had one door, so it was hard to keep the floor dry. Also, there was no hot water for our showers and the wall mounted hair dryer broke apart when I removed it from it's holder.

A very comfortable stay. I had a double room for single occupancy. The air-conditioning, shower, etc all worked very well. The key system was most efficient. When key placed in the slot electrics were turned on and therefore when leaving the room and key taken out of slot electrics are turned off. It was lovely having french windows opening on to the balcony with a good view. It is good to know that all rooms have a balcony. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there is a cafe/restaurant next door and the buffet breakfast included in the price is adequate, salami, cheese, bread, cornflakes, tea, coffee, juice and croissants/cakes. There is a good view from the restaurant. It is entertaining to see people on scooters pulling up for their espressos, snacks and beers. I really enjoyed Cefalu, particularly the old part of town, where there is a beach, which when I went end of September wasn't crowded. The larger beach about an 8 minute walk away was more crowded with umbrellas, loungers etc. To just walk through the cobblestone old streets is a wonderful experience. I was in Cefalu for one week, on my own, but felt very safe. I went on a couple of tours. They were excellent. The first to Palermo and Monreale, and the second to Mount Etna and Taormina. Do shop around for the best price.

At first I thought it was a bit out of the way but soon saw the benifits of its location. We were very comfortable and the breakfast was good.

We stayed in Al Pescatore for 5 nights. Its a very nice hotel. Staff were friendly and helpfull, rooms clean and spacious. For breakfast there big choise of various sicilian pastries, not so much choice of a savory things. The only small downside of the hotel was that it was situated at least 20 mins walk to the city center and beaches so its best to have a car if you are staying over there. Overall, good hotel with welcoming and friendly atomosphere.
