The hotel is beautiful, Austrian decor, however there was no way to control the temperature of the room
2.5
This hotel is one of the cornerstone european style gasthofs(hotels) in Vail and it’s well worth staying. The hotel room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice. The beds were very. We had a great overlook of Gore Creek. The staff is highly trained and very friendly.
The continental breakfast was very good. The restaurant menu had many options with the main focus of Austrian style food. The prices were comparable to other Vail restaurants. The bar was a great place to hang out and people watch or catch a game. Lastly, the hotel is full of history so if you want to experience Vail then this is the hotel to drop bags and stay a night or two!

The old world detail is well done and maintained. The location is great and we were able to park at the hotel. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

Friendly staff, accomodating

Beds are uncomfortable and no service on the Tv. Room was loud and hot. We stayed here once before in a riverside room which was much nicer.

The hotel is centrally located at east vail village and staff are very friendly.we enjoy our bed and the patio overlooking the mountains and the shops. The hotel has the European charm. Aside from the limited parking with fee, the downside is we saw 3 bugs inside the shower tub. It’s strange how it got inside in unused tub. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location in the heart of Vail. Old school elegance with individual decor touches in the room. And parking!

The Gasthf Gramshammer was really good, excellent service & great Customer service, very clean. We were very much welcomed to the hotel and felt at home. Best place at Vail to stay.

We had a corner room overlooking two major streets/pathways. Noisy all night long with people, motorcycles, leaf blowers, street sweepers, trash collectors, on and on. Never again.

It was the most reasonable place we found that was also convenient to the Vale Village. Definitely an older property but clean and our room was large and nice!
5.0
Fantastic location, right in the middle of Vail Village. Terrific (complimentary) European continental breakfast. Only downside was no onsight parking

Love the old world charm. It's perfectly centered in Vail Village. Definitely will stay again. This was my 2nd visit....1st in summer.

The included breakfast was excellent.
The people in the front desk were very nice and helpful

Attention very RUDE, Not nice people at the front desk.
Very rude and not willing to help. Clearly they hate their job

This is a perfect location and within walking distance of the slopes, the Gerald Ford Theatre and more,
The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. There are little touches that should be made like putting the same types of bulbs in the chandelier, liquid coffee creamer in the rooms, water bottles in the room.
Otherwise enjoyable!

Gasthof Gramshammer is THE place to stay, eat, and drink if you are looking to experience skiing and ski culture the way it was meant to be experienced. Gasthof Gramshammer, the cuisine, its owner, and staff are the real deal. I won't stay anywhere else when I am in Vail!

We felt like we were in Austria! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, delicious food. We loved staying in this privately owned hotel. We loved walking around Vail Village. Can't say enough about it! Great experience!
5.0
Beautiful hotel with so much charm. Live music downstairs, Incredible European continental breakfast. Very comfortable beds and soft linens. Exceptional front desk support. Located in the middle of the village, so it was walkable to the gondola and shops.
Parking is not easy nor accessible. There is no air conditioning. Leaving the patio doors open for cooling wasn't an option because the balcony connects with neighboring balconies and it didn't feel like a safe idea.
Overall, I loved this hotel.
2.5
One of the most historic hotels in Vail, CO, with original ownership , which is why this hotel/restaurant/ski shop/ retail shop makes this stay so exciting! Property maintained perfectly and staff highly trained to serve 24/7. Staff eager to please and owner frequents the restaurant /bar/ retail shop with true European friendliness !

We’ve been coming to Vail for fifty years and had never stayed at Pepe’s. We had met him and Sheika at the restaurant and on the slopes. They have done a wonderful job creating this old world style hotel and restaurant. Our room had a small balcony overlooking Gore Creek.
5.0
Absolutely perfect for our short overnight stay! We were fortunate to be able to pay for an underground parking spots. Having the car under the hotel made the unloading and loading back up was very simple. Being there on a Wednesday night did not allow us to partake in Pepe’s restaurant. We absolutely love the food there!

Management was not helpful at all with answering any of our questions, actually quite rude and seemed to go out of their way to be unhelpful. Won't be staying there again.
