Studio Hotel is full of unique charm. The art in the hotel alone is worth the stay. The staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet is great, it’s easy to access, has plenty of parking, and the area around it has plenty of walkable restaurants & stores.

Everything was great until last day...someone had a keycard and opened our door at 4:30 am ...we yelled ..they shut door and ran!...I got up went to door opened it and whoever was gone...i told desk to check cameras...we went ate breakfast and then checked out and asked what you see?. They said they made a note of it...they acted like it was not worth worrying about!...something didn't seem right..there reaction was like they didnt believe us or was covering up for someone...anyway how hard is it to look at a security camera in the hour of time between when i told them to when we checked out!....ive stayed this place more than a dozen times...im not sure im going back again now.

Whenever we are in the San Jose area, we stay at Studio Hotel Boutique. The artwork throughout the hotel is amazing, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but if you want to order a la carte (extra charge), there are several options. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

A real jem. Art is absolutely amazing. Rooms were very comfortable. Clean and great beds. Meals were overpriced but very good. Breakfast was ok but lacking variety. I'd recommend this hotel any day. Will stay there again.

Hotel was much better before. Breakfast is still great. Beds are double, not queen size. No microwave or mini-fridge in room. They have a little coffee maker, but they charge you for the capsules and you have to go to the front desk to buy them. Never heard of that.

The hotel was good! the only thing I disliked was they were not clear about laundry service! it made it look like it was part of the room but it’s an extra service (which all hotels usually have they don’t list it because it costs extra). the price of the laundry was absurd. $10-20 per piece of clothing

This Hotel is beautiful; easy check in and out. The hotel is full of art pieces, spacious rooms with fridge, comfy beds, safe and hot water. Daily room service, super clean. Rooftop pool and gym at the 3rd floor. Good breakfast included in the mornings and at the bar ask for a Sangria you will love it! Next to the hotel are an Italian rest and Papa Johns. Also you will be walking distance to Santa Ana Town center, when you step out of the hotel head to your left pass the gas station and you are almost there (3min walk). To get to the hotel you can catch an Uber at the airport, just go to the second floor for them to be able to pick you up. Note that tours to the volcanoes Poas and Arenal are 2-3hrs away and these are practically all day tours but well worth it. Baldi hot springs are a must! Costa Rica is a beautiful place with lovely people, great food…PURA VIDA!

Nice boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms, large size, the area around the hotel very cozy. The pool area was nice like a type of rooftop experience. The gallery type hotel decoration was original. The breakfast was ok, however the two times we were there it seem to be running out of food in the buffet, but the taste of the food was good. It is a quiet hotel, but close to restaurants and shops walking distance. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would consider staying there again.
