The Shire Apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Delhi. With 2 bedrooms, a sleeper sofa and 1 bathroom this apartment comfortably sleeps up to 6. Conveniently located in walking distance to restaurants and convenience, minutes from SUNY Delhi, The College Golf Course, wedding venues and area attractions. This apartment is directly over O'Neill's Shire Pub which serves fine food and sturdy drinks, and is the only apartment in the building. Pets considered for additional fee. $200/stay.

The Shire Apartment has ample parking in the back of the building. A flight of stairs brings you to the apartment door and another flight of stairs to the private foyer. The apartment has been newly renovated with all new furnishings and appliances. Every detail has been covered to make sure that you entire visit is comfortable and enjoyable.

The Shire Apartment is directly over O'Neill's Shire Pub. A favorite with locals and vacationers alike, The Shire is an iconic and cherished hub of the community. A dining room in the back has a cozy fireplace for the winter and an outdoor dining area for the warmer months. They serve everything from classic Irish dishes like Bangers and Mash to traditional pub fare like burgers and wings. The front of the pub has a full bar, pool table, dart board and there you can enjoy Trivia Night, Karaoke Night, live bands and other events. Generally noise level is kept to a minimum but there may be residual noise coming up every now and then if there is a live band. Hours are Sunday - Thursday 11:30-9AM, Friday and Saturday 11:30AM - midnight.

The apartment is located in the heart of Delhi, just next to the Delhi Village Square which has a weekly Farmers Market Spring through Fall on Wednesdays, Fair on the Square every Friday in July and other events throughout the year. Within walking distance you will find popular area restaurants, cafe's and shops.

Guests have full access to the top floor of the building except for the supply closet located in the foyer outside the apartment.

Vacation Rental Hosts live nearby and are available by text, phone or email as needed.

The Shire Apartment is located in the popular vacation destination village of Delhi, NY in Delaware County. Nearby towns include Hobart, Cooperstown, Oneonta, Margaretville, Arkville, Andes, Bovina Center, Pine Hill and Woodstock.

This is a true 4 season area. In the winter ski or snowboard at Belleayre Ski Center (33 miles), Plattekill Mountain (26 miles), Hunter Mountain (50 miles) and Windham (44 miles).

Spring is fishing season and there are plenty of public fishing streams and lakes in the area for a sportsman. Watch nature come back to life as the tree's and flowers begin to blossom.

Summer there is so much to do, something for everyone in your group. Hiking, biking, boating, antiquing, farmers markets, fairs and more. There are numerous wedding and party venues in the area (distances listed below) as well.

Fall is the place to be in the Catskills. Farmers Markets are bursting with bounty, pumpkin and apple picking, fall festivals and leaf peeping. Days are sunny and the air crisp, you will fall in love!

Greyhound and Adirondack Trailways both have bus stops in Delhi within walking distance to the apartment. If you are sightseeing outside of the Delhi Village you will need transportation to get around.

Stays 7 days are provided with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, cleaning supplies. When the provided supply is gone guests should purchase what they need for the remainder of their stay.

Please review the check in and check out times and make sure they are acceptable for your needs. Early check in and late check out may be available, upon request. There is a $25 per hour fee for approved early check in and late check out.

Payment processing fees are non-refundable.
You must be 21 or older to rent this apartment.

A FEW RULES.
Check-In and Check-Out: Plan your travel on our listed 4PM arrival and 11AM departure times. Changes in times may be available for an additional fee if possible. Please give at least 24 hours notice for requests, last minute requests may not be possible as cleaning and service schedules are planned in advance.

- We have awesome neighbors; help keep us awesome neighbors too.
- No parties. Only the number of guests on the reservation should be in the apartment. Let Host know of daytime guests.
- No smoking. If you must smoke, do so outdoors only and extinguish when done then put in the garbage.
- Dogs are allowed with approval and additional fee.
- No fireworks or firearms.
