The cabin itself was a cozy haven, beautifully decorated. Renting both levels of the cabin offered us spacious accommodations for our party of nine and three pets. Beautifully furnished with a well-equipped kitchens. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the décor reflected a blend of comfort and mountain elegance. While we did not have an actual view of the river it was only a short drive down the winding driveway. If I had one recommendation about the river access from the cabin, I’d suggest adding a staircase with viewing platforms and maybe a bench. Walking down the driveway to the river was not an option for anyone in our party. Our Jeep and Toyota 4Runner made it down/up just fine but we wouldn’t have even attempted taking my son’s car or the in-laws van down the drive as it’s just too steep. Pros: • River Access with life jackets, tubes, firepits, and shelters • Peaceful and secluded environment, perfect for relaxation. • Thoughtfully equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces. • Downstairs unit had a roll-in shower. • Excellent water pressure • Pet food/water bowls provided Tip For Future Guest: • I have some mobility issues and needed the downstairs walk-in shower, but I required assistance getting in and out of my Jeep due to the grade of the parking areas. Again, not a complaint just a tip for other guest that may have special mobility needs.

We were disappointed when we first arrived. The pictures were very deceiving of the views of the water/river from the cabin. Due to several members having knee issues we would have to walk down an road to the river which did have an incline. Once we drove down to the river we could see ourselves having a fun family time! We loaded up three vehicles with tubes, coolers and our 4th of July meal. Our son was able to grill everything right at the river. Gas grill, covered pavilion, chairs, hammock and swings with plenty of shade. Our family of 11 enjoyed tubing and being together. We drove into Helen Thursday night to see fireworks!! It really worked out for the best!! We would do this again!

Let’s start with the positives. The cabin itself is beautiful well maintained very clean and comfortable. Owner lives on the property in a few issues that did come up or fixed quickly with great communication. For the negatives. This cabin is nowhere near the river as a picture lead you to believe. There is no fire pit near the cabin or a view of anything. If I could post pictures, you would be astounded. The cabin is actually located on the backside of the hill. Looking out the front you will look at a gravel covered hill that you can’t see over. This is facing the river. However, to get to the river, you have to go over the hill and down a very steep and bank meant approximately 400 feet or more. Paved road has recently been put in but my 2020 expedition barely get up it. If it was wet, I would not even attempt it. So in order to use the Amenities in the pictures that are by the river you have to either walk down (And later back up) or drive. Wow, this would be annoying for myself. It would be doable but when you have a little kids and your 70-year-old parents It is impossible . The back of the cabin does not face the river. But the woods on the backside of the hill. There were two things we were looking for in this cabin to relax with family…. Cabin on the river and fire pit. Both of these ended up being misrepresented in the pictures. I did ask owner prior to booking… I guess “close” is subjective. I should have trusted Google Maps satellite view

Cabin was very well stocked in a quiet secluded area. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the back porch. The stream is located at the end of a very steep hill you will want to drive down to water but it is very nice by the rapids enjoyed watching all the kayakers going by!

Our family had an amazing stay. The cabin was so spacious and super clean! Decor was gorgeous, every accommodation was thought of down to the doggie bowls. Our boys loved having their own bedroom and bathroom. The river was simply breathtaking, we had so much fun in the hot-tub, at a campfire making s’mores, sitting on the back deck watching the deer in the woods with our morning coffee…let’s just say we were so sad to leave and can’t wait to come back. Helen was a short ride, it was great to come back to our private and peaceful cabin in the woods after the town festivities.

Awesome stay - cabin had everything we needed for our stay: great location, super clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable by offering his 4-wheeler for easy access to the river area. River area well thought out with swings, games, grill & multiple fire pits that caters for any age group. Our dogs had a blast and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our main goal was peace and quiet and for the most part we had that. The owner was super nice and accommodating and we will be back to visit another of his properties this summer. The cabin was brand new and clean and the section of river is pristine. We also enjoyed the trails in the WMA adjacent to the property. A+ property!!

This cabin is so nice. It looks brand new inside and out. The owner was great to work with and thought of everything. There were even s’more sticks. We never heard the person living below. It was pretty cold so we only made our way down to the river once but it is a very nice set up down there for grilling and hanging out. I wish we had used it. Lovely place!

My wife and I were looking for a quiet relaxing getaway and found it at ga cabins.io. The place was very clean and cozy, it had all of the amenities needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a nice fire by the river. The owner Jeff went out of his way to meet all our needs. . We will deffanatly be going back.

The cabin is so cute and has everything you need... a hot tub, grill, lots of cooking supplies, games and the arcade was an added fun bonus. The river and pavilions were easily accessible and clean. We will definitely stay here again.
