Perfect for a overnight stay before a cruise. They offer transportation to the cruise ship.

Hallways dark. Carpets dirty. Room smelled like chemicals. Bed went down several inches when I sat on it. Bed creaked VERY loadly every time you moved on it. Had to ask for another room. It was better but still smelled awful

Great location, we stay here every time we are going on a cruise out of Miami.

The hotel is not in good shape. Musty smell in hallways and rooms. Plaster falling off walls, bathtub was disgusting. The room was cold. The view was a huge construction site. Carpets were falling apart. The main door to the room was falling apart. The bathroom door wouldn’t close completely and the back of the bathroom door had hair and some leftover speared dirt that wasn’t washed. The front desk changed us rooms. But the next one was not much better except for the view. For the high price we paid it was not a good hotel.

The hotel is slowly falling downhill. It won’t be long until it is dozed over to build another condo structure. I’d say the staff is trying.

Loved the location

The photos are not correct. The room was really not that great, the bathrooms really were not good. Very old, makes you not want to touch anything.
The vending machines didn't work, ice machine didn't work.
Carpet looks dirty and strings coming up. Just all around disappointed. Lobby looks great and like the photos.
Pictures does not do the rooms justice if you going by photos you will be totally disappointed. It was just not a good stay. Location is fantastic, lobby staff fantastic.
bathroom and room was very disappointing

This hotel was very close to the cruise port.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered. The computer systems were down, and everyone was being checked in by paper. I waited in line for 30 minutes to check-in. The cleaning staff must’ve been short staffed. We were given a room that either still had a guest in it, or hadn’t been cleaned at 4:00pm. Went back down stairs to wait in line for another room. This time the room was ready for occupancy.

The check in/check out experiences were good, no issues. The transportation offering to the cruise port(s) was somewhat chaotic. The service in the restaurant was great but the breakfast was below average. The room was generally fine but did not feel clean or sanitized. A mildewy smell. Tub not clean.

Great one night stay! Right across from Bayfront park with shopping, restaurants, etc and Kaseya Arena for concert!
All within a 5min walk. Perfect location!

Parking is horrible if driving prepare to pay $55.00 for parking a night it’s ridiculous.

We always have a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. The location is GREAT. The staff were friendly & rooms were a bit worn, but doable for one night.
They called us a shuttle to get to the port. It was timely & the shuttle driver was very courteous.

The room was nice with a view of Bayside Marketplace. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. Downside our toilet kept refilling all night long and the nightstand lamp didn’t work. We have stayed here many times and is good before or after a cruise. We will most likely stay here again in the future.

I noticed a persistent bad smell in the hotel, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, I found the breakfast to be too expensive for what was offered. It would be great if the hotel could address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Not friendly at check in. Did not tell us about any of the services or surrounding amenities

Hotel smelled very musty. Guest service at check in was less than stellar

Stayed over night to go on a cruise the next morning. They had a service to take you to the terminal. Across the street from shopping and 2 miles from Little Havana.

The hotel location is great, and the price was unbeatable. However, the condition of the building is honestly quite dated and pathetic. I reserved 3 rooms. My parents room had a toilet that initially would not flush until a maintenance visit. My sister's family's room had black mold. There was no resolution except for a bill credit. My family's room had a celling leak (it was raining), and it was obvious that the ceiling had been patched over and over again. It was in terrible condition. You would think the ceiling could fall into the room at any time. We were moved into 2 rooms on another level, and immediately upon entering could smell the difference. We were also given a bill credit. I can not say that I would reserve at this property ever again.

Nice place to spend the night if your going on a cruise. Close to the cruise port.
The elevators are SUPER slow so plan accordingly when leaving. Also the bathroom was really small.

It was not so good, the room was very outdated, the air barely worked, the staff wasn’t very friendly.
1.5
Only parking is 55.00 a night using valet parking or pay by the hour on the street at a rate that would be more than double if you parked for 24 hours. And the hotel has no shuttle service for getting from the airport to the hotel or cruise port. Saying it is walking distance and less than a mile is true but, you have to cross over a massive bridge to do that.

Very dated hotel, great location.

Good location and spacious room but needs renovation

It needs to be updated. The air conditioner barely worked. And it had no cold water. It was all extremely hot water no matter how you turn the faucet. Also, when you flush the toilet, it was so loud. It woke up the entire room.

Good

The air conditioning was not working in hotel
Several people in lobby at front desk complaining
We also took out the air filter and showed them it was filthy
I have a picture
We asked for a fan
Our room also smelled like paint
And the bathroom had lots of cracks in shower
For $240 a night I would never stay there again

Perfect location and friendly staff.

Very old needs to be updated. Maybe tear down and rebuild. Very old and neglected

The hotel is dingy and there was a smell of must that permeated everything. Like there is hidden water damages and mold that were painted over and not properly remediated. The parking situation is awful. There is valet parking available for an additional fee, but the lot fills up very quickly. Some guests that stayed with us (in addition to us in another fully paid room, not just people popping in to say hello. Actual other guests) were not able to obtain parking in the valet area, and had to park in municipal parking, as there is no other option available. When we attempted to get clarity on our options, hotel staff said it isn’t their problem and had no information on how to obtain parking or the associated costs. The gentleman at the counter was honestly rude and dismissive about the whole situation and attempting to assist us. Other hotel staff we encountered were nice though. Back to the parking… valet attendant is not attentive and even though I requested my vehicle a half hour prior to my needing it, I was able to schedule a time in the provided website. When I got checked out and then went to grab my vehicle, he was sitting in his chair in his little office area in the building and was on the phone paying zero mind to my wife who had gone to get the vehicle while I checked out. It took another 10 minutes for us to get the vehicle. To sum it up: location… fantastic. Facilities…. Fail. Staff… mostly good with a couple of personnel that need to rethink their careers.

The pool wasnt working which was not good. There were homeless people sleeping at every entrance to the hotel. The lobby and rooms smelt like wet dog snd were just humid. The couch matress felt like i was sleeping on springs. Also 5$ for a bottle of water is pricey for a hotel with such low quality. Would definitely not recommend to anybody looking for a place to stay. And definitely wont be booking again with this hotel

“Location is perfect if traveling to the Cruise” My husband is a IHG member we have not seen a hotel so Outdated and Dirty. Surrounding areas look unsafe, people smoking weed and sleeping in front of the entrance. Elevators not working, and cards for the rooms didn’t always worked. Again, location is in front of the Bayside making it accesible.
