I remember this hotel from 40 yrs ago! They did a great upgrade to make it charming and more up to date. I love the tile walls in the bath tub, the "wipe your paws" rugs at the pet friendly rooms and the little pillow with a dog on it. It made us feel welcomed and not feeling like we were given the worst room because we had a pet. The outdoor sitting areas were quaint and inviting. Only 2 negatives were the sirens (being close to a fire station I think) and the continental breakfast was behind the service desk.

Room had roaches, and no way of changing input on TV. Wifi was not good. People were loud outside. Glad I had a short stay because overall was JUST ok and not comfortable.

Very clean and neat, friendly service.
Very good motel to stay in, very good experience. I was very disappointed at the breakfast. I was expecting a real breakfast and I had to choose if I wanted a bagel or a bagel, if I didn’t like bagels then I could have bagels with bagels or go get BREAKFAST at the Waffle House. If you want a good hotel without breakfast this is a good one but if you want a motel with breakfast, you’re going to be very disappointed.

The hotel entrance was difficult to get in and out of. The room was hot and stuffy. The air conditioner difficult work properly and the beds were very uncomfortable.

Edwina at the front desk made my stay so wonderful. She was so helpful and just very, very kind.
She even offered to pray with me since I was in town to see a relative in the hospital.
I highly recommend this lovely, homey hotel.

The lobby was really nice so I assumed the updated lobby set the tone of the room, however the room was awful. The bedding was just sheets and they looked worn and not so clean, the headboard had some weird stuff smeared on one of the queen beds, it smelled terrible and the carpet was gross and the door had a gap along the bottom where unwanted bugs could come in. Also we were in the end unit and outside the door were two rocking chairs chained down and a random guy was sitting there drinking beers so it didn’t feel safe.

I work in this area, and bring my meals for thw time i stay, during first day there, the cleaning services unplugged my fridge, and when i got to my room that night all my meals for weekend were spoiled! I told the front desk, and she literally said "ok" like had no reponse. Gee thanks. 4 days of food in the bin and no apology or anything. So yeah, glad it wasnt anything important, like life saving insulin.

The room I got smelled like a dirty mop. I let the girl at the front desk know but nothing was done about it. I went to Walmart to get some air freshener to spray the room.

I had to come stay a night while my AC was getting repaired. No complaints. The lady at the front desk was super nice too. The bed was a bit lumpy but overall I can't complain.

The people at the front desk were so nice and helpful. We were very comfortable. Our room had one slight problem with the bathroom door. Maybe the humidity was a little high and it was hitting the floor and not opening all the way. But that was a minor thing. The location was great. And they didn’t advertise breakfast, but they had coffee, bagels, fruit, muffins, which was a nice surprise.
I wish there was more information about the trail system for walking and biking through the city. It was a little hard to figure out, and the maps weren’t very helpful.
I was pleasantly surprised at Gainesville, Georgia.
