Good Breakfast and quality of rooms.Stayed on the 5th floor which is fine in winter but in the summer these rooks are hot.
Suggestion for Improvement: Phone guests on the day of checking out if they leave something behind, rather than letting them realise once they have travelled home and then realise.

Decent hotel walking distance from centre of town. Has expensive car park next door. Very low, If your a borrower you'll be fine but I banged head numerous times. Would return

Nice hotel just off Maid Marian way, close to the castle and museum as well as the Markets where the annual winter wonderland is held.
3.0
Good location with easy access to public transport. Catering excellent. Would have given a higher score but for one thing: the toilet facilities. Without going into gruesome detail, using the toilet required contortionist's skills when seated as the lid would not stay up.

Simple, clean and comfortable

Excellent hotel. Service great and brilliant city views. Good value too.

Decent city centre hotel. Clean & comfortable although the decor was a bit dated. Good choice & quality of breakfast.

Excellent place. The hotel is just next to Nottingham Palace. The receptionist was very professional and gentle. The room as the perfect space for 2 adult and two small children. I loved all the little touches of kindness, like the soaps, wide selection of teas, cookies and even a relaxing aroma diffuser for the pillow. We had a pleasant night.

Good value for money. Clean and very comfy bed. 4 minutes walk to Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Inn—a must see—and diagonally across the street from Nottingham Castle.

Unfortunately my room was next to the lift and I was kept awake most of the night by the loud noise of the lift going up and down all night.

Good location but somewhat tired. I pre-booked the hotels underground car parking. If you do this be aware it is around 400m away and do not use if you have a large car! It’s tight, really tight…

If is had been Four in a Bed i would have looked to knock money off for:
The shower, where the riser was missing an end cap, which meant the chrome had started to corrode.
Also, at breakfast it was disappointing to find there were no sausages, and even more annoying to see some on someone else's plate as we left. Obviously they were a bit slow at replenishing the tray.
Finally, it was not made clear that the ticket we were given to pay the car parking was only a discount and did not cover the full charge, which led to an embarrassing situation at the exit gate.

Hotel quite tired looking along corridors and room but very convenient city centre location

Great time at Rock City .Hotel was convenient.

Lovely hotel - great reception staff who are friendly, welcoming and have a great sense of humour. The staff at breakfast did not interact much but simply did their job. The breakfast was good and refilled regularly . With poached eggs able to be ordered freshly . The night time bar staff felt like they did not want to be there and gave that impression that they were doing the basics to do their job. The bedroom I had which was the executive room had a great bed, sofa and bathroom with bath tub. Toiletries were from the white company - nice touch
The hotel is in a great location near the town centre . Great value for money .. recommended

Property was fit for purpose, location was very central, very close to the castle, short walk in to the center. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was traveling solo and only needed a place to sleep, rooms are dated but clean, only minor downside was you could hear people in rooms around and above but noise level was generally low. Other inconvenience was the toilet seat, strange thing to complain about but it couldn't sit back due to sink structure,so you needed to hold it up with your back, or twist the seat so it was on an angle. Nothing dramatic just inconvenient. Breakfast was decent but standard.

The hotel is in a very good location, with the castle a short walk away (you can see the castle from the front of the hotel). It is also only about 10 minute walk from the train station, and a short distance from the city centre. Good size room for solo use. The only problem I had was the comfort of the bed because I have arthritis of the spine.
5.0
A great location next to the Castle, oldest pub and super restaurants . Car park is a little awkward and its pot luck whether the exit/ entrance will be clear ( not the hotels fault!) Do drop your luggage off first as theres no direct access via car park.
I damaged my calf muscle at the beginning of my stay and the staff could not have been more helpful and considerate. Special shout out to 'Alex'(f) and 'Maddie' who really went the extra mile. Would stay again.

Excellent stay one night for the cricket 8 of us no complaints from anyone great breakfast as well

Perfect location for city centre. Stayed in room called Crash Pad which is a small double basically for one person and included good tv, tea and coffee with kettle, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. This room looked out on to National Car Park so quite noisy. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was good with choice of continental or cooked. Everything was help yourself which was no problem.

The hotel was lovely. Loved the 'dream spray' in our room! Wish there was more ventilation in the room and bathroom as it was quite warm but there was a plug in fan to use. Overall, really lovely stay.
