The location is convenient for the train station, and the price is good, but you already knew that. We stayed one night. Check-in was initially difficult. The process involves remote opening of door and gate via an intercom. It didn't work. We needed to call the phone number provided. Once we gained access to the room, we quickly noticed that it was filthy. The bin was full. It hadn't been cleaned. The person on the end of the phone said there was a problem with the cleaning company. I twice asked how long it would take and received no answer. The cleaner arrived 2 hours later. We sat in the (uncomfortably hot) communal kitchen area. The room itself is OK, though in need of refurbishment. The cleaner did a good job. The AC is not very effective, so it was too hot in the night. This review gained a star because we were allowed to check out a little late.

I enjoy my stay and I hope to stay again next year! I find a nice grocery and cook most meals at Monica's B&B, only go out a few times to eat because too much smoking! The place has everything you need, everything works, and it is very clean. It is very close to the train station and the shore. Be sure to go to Madegra around the corner for cannoli.
There was one thing you need to know. I stay in the big room in the back ( the other two rooms have balconies) where every day old person upstairs gets up 5am, walks around and around with a cane ( thump, thump, thump) and turns on the talk show very loud ( "ristrioni, mastachiolli, cannaloni Spumoni!" - no I don't speak Italian). If you want to sleep in, too bad.

We stayed for one night as we came back from Positano but we were accommodated to check in early to leave our luggage in the room. Were given free breakfast vouchers for the next morning to get a cappuccino and a pastry of our choice. The hotel is very close to the station and to the boat to get to Amalfi or Positano. We did experience a minor delay the next morning leaving as we did not have a to open the gate and it was locked. We made it to our training just few minutes before otherwise we could have missed it.

Absolutely perfect location if you are taking train or ferry to Positano! The B&B is an apartment in a larger building, so the owner met us outside on the street to make sure we find it. Deal with a nearby pastry shop to let us have breakfast there for no additional charge is a great touch!

The host was great and stayed in touch with us and gave us the very simple directions from the train station. So simple I was embarrassed. It is the perfect location only mere minutes to the train AND ferry terminal and we needed both. It is a unique space. A two bedroom suite and a one bedroom suite each with its own bathrooms but a common kitchen. Each suite had doors that look off the kitchen area. We never end heard the others the day they were there. We did hear A. Gagliotta in the suite below as they like to have music going and all the windows open. The place is bright like in the photos and might use a scrub and spruce up. Each day u receive a contenintal breakfast voucher for the cafe on the corner. Lots of shopping and restaurants of all types. And the location was just too perfect.

Convenient one night stay from ferry to train next day. Walking distance from both. No-one on site and breakfast is coffee and pastry at nearby cafe. Bed was not comfortable.
