We had a very small wedding at this property and it was absolutely beautiful! The house was perfect and fit the wedding party with ease. The house is at the end of road so very private. Cannot recommend this property more!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location! We got together with a group of nearly 20 people and this place had more than enough space to accommodate our group! We can’t wait to come back soon!!

Overall it was a great stay. 22 adults and 6 kids aging from 2-10. Could have used more full size beds vs twin bunks. Only 1 problem and it was minor. The water in the second cabin never heated up, so everyone had to shower in the main house. But overall it was a good time with all my siblings and their young adult kids and a few grandkids. Would definitely recommend

We were there for a small family get together and it all worked out perfect. It is so pretty there.

Our family enjoyed the Accommodations at Grand Overlook. The house was well prepared with almost every item we needed to prepare meals and had a ton of sleeping room for all our guests. The only things we were not satisfied with were; the fountain was not functioning, the main house washer did not work, there was no kitchenette in the guest house, as well as the description of the rental did not include that to enter the guest house top floor where half of the sleeping area was, you had to climb two flight's of stairs.

We had 25 women from our office out for a ladies weekend and this house was perfect! Highly recommend!

We arrived early and was trying to get our food just in the refrigerator and the cleaning people would not let us see in. We were supposed to be there at 4 PM and they were late the refrigerator where their washer and dryer was not working for three days. We called to let them know and they never responded. Also, we spent a lot of money booking this for six days. I can’t believe that for 30 people he brought over four rolls of toilet paper. Had we known that we would’ve brought our own hotel would’ve supplied us with toilet paper not real happy with the service, but in spite of it, all our family had a great time. Also, you advertised adults. All of our adults were in bunkbeds the set up of the rental was not accommodating for our adults.

Could not have been more pleased with this property. The house was laid out perfectly to accommodate multiple families and children. Was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed for the weekend. Great location and lots of privacy. Will definitely return!

Grand Overlook is the ideal staff retreat or family reunion location. It is a short drive to Hochatown restaurants and activities. The location is gorgeous and feels quite secluded. We loved listening to the stream from the deck. Accommodations were beautiful, clean, and spacious. We had 25 adults and 1 child, and it never felt crowded. Management was responsive and kind. We already booked our return trip!
10.0 / 10.0
We got together with 26 extended family members at Grand Overlook, and it was exactly what we needed!
Pros:
- very clean
- space for everyone- from singles, newlyweds, small and big families
- The bunk beds were shockingly comfortable and quiet! Nothing worse than being woken up by a squeaky bed!
- plenty of games for inside entertainment
- the pond, creek, and play set kept the kids happy outside
- thorough, timely communication from the owner
Cons:
- cookware was a bit small for our large group
We’re already planning our trip back to Grand Overlook for next year!

We had fun good for getaway with friends and family of 30 ! But there was more bathrooms !
8.0 / 10.0
Overall family experience was great. However we had issues the e tire time due to weather. The cabin was hot/then extremely cold, tv’s did not work in some of the rooms, the second cabin smelled like sewage, had to purchase extension cords because breaker box issues, but the after hour on call guy was great and did his best to assist us with our Christmas experience. The sink in cabin leaked in bathroom and towels got wet. I come from family that still knows how to e joy the moment and do best with what you have. It was total of 30 of us on this trip. The property manager was very helpful and is accommodating us on another stay. We definitely will be back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor.
