Great location

Super location, clean and had everything you need for a home from home experience. Booking staff really helpful.

During a windy day the wind came through the master bedroom windows when closed which could be an issue in colder weather. Also the dishwasher didn't work but it's not really a hardship washing a few dishes by hand

We will definely stay here again when we next make the journey to New Zealand

Not long after we arrived a lovely lady came to the door to welcome us & deliver a small bottle of fresh milk. A lovely gesture. The unit is well laid out and as it was on the end of the building, we had lovely views towards the waterfront and snow capped hills. It was the perfect spot to take those 'famous' sunrise photos from! It is only a short walk into the main shopping area and has an excellent Restaurant ('King Tide Eatery') practically next door.

Car parking and the location was excellent. The view from our Apartment was fantastic, and the beds, shower, and kitchen living areas were great. Clean and warm.

The check in was not very good. We were kept waiting for an hour after we reached Waves on Esplanade, as the reception was un-manned and we were not given our Room number. Much improvement needed for guests in this area, unfortunately.

We loved staying here and would look to stay again. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, and fully kitted out. Spacious rooms with lots of storage space. The views from the balconies were superb and it is just a short walk to the centre of Kaikoura.

Overall nice apartment with everything needed to be self contained.

Location was good. Was quite and had a nice view.

Hot water ran out after 3 showers in the morning. Master bedroom shower head would turn to wall when full water pressure applied. The pole in the middle of the parking was a pain for a large vehicle and would be a challenge if 2 vehicles were to park in the same space.

Apt With a Scenic View

One of the most beautiful apt I had stayed during this trip. There are 2 bathrooms, and kitchen is fully equipped. Location is great within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and beach. The view is awesome, facing the Pacific Ocean, and what a day to start watching the beautiful sunrise from the balcony.

No elevator, need to carry all our luggages up the stairs.

Good location. Bed was comfy.

The aircon was broken. Repair man came first day he said he was going to talk to owner and I asked for a him to tell them I wanted a fan or something. No communication so wasn’t happy.
