We chose this property initially because it was advertised as wheelchair accessible, as my wife is disabled, but we ended up loving the property and the location. Woodland Park is a treasure of a town.
The communication with the property manager was top notch, they replied immediately to our inquiries and acted quickly when we needed to have a small issue resolved.
If you are in a wheelchair, please note that the kitchen and dining area are upstairs, but the bottom level of the property is completely accessible.
Overall, I would be very excited to stay at this property again, 5 very well earned stars.

The interior was clean and well kept. We needed to get toilet paper. The hot tub was nice and clean as well. The outside grounds were unkept and dirty. Overall we had a delightful stay and it was very near the park where our reunion took place which was very nice.

We had a great time staying at this caben. It was right in town but yet still feels secluded. Host were very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and answering questions we had. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again if we fine ourselves back in woodland park!

Personally when entering the house we loved everything super nice, at first glance everything seemed very clean but the floors were really super dirty one of my children crawled and ended up with his knees literally black of how dirty it was, the nice but not clean bedrooms smelled very strange the sheets pillows and blankets, the bathrooms had a small smell like moisture and did not smell good, the carpet in the living room on the second floor was super dirty, I would recommend that they change it or clean it does not look good to the house, the windows did not close well And many dead insects, as for cleaning it is something that they should pay a little more attention to, for this reason my rating is not 5 stars, because it is a beautiful house and its location is within reach of having everything nearby, it is a very beautiful town woodland park!! But the cleaning, I repeat, is super important.

When we first arrived, we were greeted with a puddle of rain water around the front door that had ran up behind the sofa. The two inner bathrooms smelled sour. The majority of the vanity lights were out. We did wash the bath mats thinking that might be the issue (it wasn’t) and discovered the floors and showers were covered in hair.
The dust mop was still out, lying on the floor, and the supply closet was opened. The smoke detector in that room was dangling from the ceiling, and the battery was sitting on the bookcase underneath it. There are shoeprints on the ceiling.
There are a lot of lamps, but unplugged and nowhere near an outlet. The lamp in the master room was daisy chained with the electric heater.
We tried to open all the windows, hoping to air out the house. All but the two in the front door living room opened. Those windows wouldn’t budge. None of the windows had screens, and most of the sills had dead flies. There is no air conditioner, so you’re obligated to open windows, but there are a good number of fans.
At this point, the house wasn’t feeling very clean. I did email the contact about the odors, and was informed that the house had indeed been cleaned. I wasn’t asking that; I was letting the contact know there might be a problem.
We ran the garbage disposal, and that did improve the odor upstairs. Unfortunately, the smell in the two inner bathrooms only increased throughout our two days. We closed the doors and rarely went in. It was gag-inducing.

Overall we all enjoyed our vacation in Woodland CO. This property is in a nice location. A lots of parking spaces and easy access to the house. Walk in distance to the coffee, donuts, ice cream and other shops, which was convenient. We encountered deers and bears. Property management responded our concerns right away.
Here are few recommendations for improvement-
need a glass dinner set, not everyone like to use plastic plates and bowls; a better coffee maker and nice coffee cups. One of the bathrooms door knob wasn’t locking.
But other that, this property is highly recommended!

This property was very comfortable & cozy. We loved the fence yard for our 4-legged children. Seeing the deer in the yard was amazing. This property is within walking distance to many restaurants and a very nice park.

This cabin was a perfect location for us. We spent a lot of time at Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak , Manitou Springs, and surrounding areas. It was a short drive to our cabin, with beautiful views along the way. The cabin itself was very spacious and clean. Plenty of seating for our family with large television for evening Netflix time.
When you step out onto the road in front of the cabin, the view of Pikes Peak is gorgeous.
There is a park two blocks over that we took walks almost every day. It was a beautiful setting with fountains and bridges and that gorgeous view of Pikes Peak. Our cabin was also two blocks up from the Main Street. On one of our morning walks to the park, we walked to the Donut Mill and grabbed donuts for breakfast. Found a gem for breakfast one morning called Hungry Bear. The rest of the mornings we fixed breakfast in our cabin which was fully stocked with everything we needed. The cabin is in a neighborhood, but is on a big enough lot that you feel safe and yet secluded.
Enjoyed the deer roaming through the yards all around us. And one looking in our window by the hot tub.
We loved our stay and would most definitely book again and recommend to anyone else looking in this area.
This is a great cabin!!!

Pros:
-Clean kitchen/bathrooms/bedrooms/hallways
-4 bathrooms, new grill/hot tub
Cons:
- dirty upstairs sofa bed(thick/gooey spillage, numerous food crumbs, etc.)
- Loose exterior door(upper) knob/kitchen drawer handles that were ready to fall - off.
-Lack of indoor ventilation - no window screens, whole house fan non-functional.
Opening windows allowed bumble bees/wasp/yellow jackets/moths/etc. into the house/living areas.
We ended up buying our own fan.
- 2nd floor kitchen - was not noted in the property description - having to carry food/supplies upstairs.
- sofa bed "mattress" was VERY soft and appeared older that what I was told - I was told it was 5 months old
- sofa bed - not fit for adult sleepers - hence lost 4 sleeping "spots"
-sleeping area in kitchen(2nd floor) in essence non-functional - as no parent would leave their children sleeping upstairs
-dirty window wells - dead insects/dirt/etc.
-main entry front door - non-functional. Per property manager - a known maintenance items that was to be fixed AFTER our rental period.
-Burned out light bulbs(2) in master bedroom.
-Exterior property littered with constructions screws, staples, spoons, trash, broken fence panels.
-patio furniture was not cleaned
-exterior entry was not swept(pine needles, mud and etc.)
-grass was 2 ft tall when we arrived(Tues), grass was cut on Thurs and cut grass was strewn all over walkways.
-Having family clean the property is not a way to start a vacation
-unlabelled hot tub chemical
