Is there anything more soothing for the soul than strolling along the seafront, feeling the sea breeze in your hair? We’re passionate about coastal escapes, so as far as we’re concerned, a trip to Cornwall’s beautiful Fowey is always a good idea. And that good idea is made great by staying at this truly lovely home. The house is spread over three floors, with a ground-floor apartment in addition to a roomy second- and third-floor home – this is the perfect base for two separate families travelling together. You can gather together as much as you like, but when you need your own space it’s all there for you. We think the ground floor would be perfect for grandparents, while parents and little ones can spread out upstairs. You can look forward to wonderful views here. You’ll be able to admire boats sailing by from the kitchen window, and enjoy views of Fowey as you relax in the bath. Sit out on the terrace and take in the vista over to Polruan, ideally while sipping a chilled glass of wine. Readymoney Cove is just ten minutes away on foot, so make sure you bring your bucket and spade. Paddle in the water, skim stones or tuck into piping hot fish and chips on the sand. The harbour is just three minutes away, with its bevy of pretty boats. However you spend your time in Fowey, you’ll be delighted to have such a cosy and convenient space to call home. Home truths: *Bedrooms two and three can be set up with super-king-size beds instead of twins if preferred *Bedroom four is best suited to two children sharing *Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones for free *This home is spread over three floors – it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility *If you’re planning on bringing buggies or wheelchairs with you, they’ll need brakes – Fowey is steep *There's no free parking at this home - there's a paid car park nearby or you can catch a train to Par and then a 20-minute bus to Fowey if you'd prefer to leave the car at home
