Find an extraordinary setting for an extended family getaway at this beautiful property on Bainbridge Island. Enjoy a three-story main home with grounds that include a private 15-foot swim spa and gorgeous views of the Olympic Mountains. This eco-friendly property sits near the southern tip of Bainbridge Island, with the waters of Puget Sound and the lights of the evening ferries visible from the porch and balcony. You'll be a one-mile stroll from Fort Ward Park, where you can take long walks on the beach and launch watercraft, and three miles from restaurants, live music, a wine bar, and a movie theater in Lynwood Center.

Your stay begins in the three-bedroom house, where large windows and details of natural wood wait at every turn. It's a wonderful space to entertain, offering a light-filled living room with a TV and DVD player (with a selection of DVDs and an HDMI cable for your laptop), a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and even a piano, a guitar, puzzles, and board games for fun-filled nights at home. A dedicated office space, high-speed WiFi, a home gym with fitness equipment, and a smart TV are provided as well.

This property is a showcase of eco-conscious design, full of such thoughtful details such as salvaged old-growth timbers and siding, rooftop solar panels, locally milled white oak floors, custom fir cabinets, and recycled paper countertops. It's also a special place to spend time outdoors, whether you're hosting a barbecue, shooting hoops, napping in the hammock, or watching the kids climb the play structure.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved the fire pit outside and the sound of the frogs and crickets chirping. We even were visited by the local deer in the morning Beds are not super comfy but ok. Overall a beautiful experience!

The property was absolutely beautiful. But inside the house, while clean except for a rogue hair or two, was not well managed. The upstairs tub didn't work, the toilet paper was terrible quality, the kitchen wasnt stocked, the beds weren't comfortable. We will enjoyed our time there for the location, the spaciousness, and garden

Overall, the house fit our needs but it is a bit outdated and could use some newer furniture and kitchenware. The beds were fair but could also use some updating. Also note if you're staying in the summer, it can get warm without AC but with all the windows open it does cool off some at night. We mostly enjoyed the outdoor areas and the deer and other wildlife.

Location, house and space is great but was left uncleared. Hair in the bedsheets had us washing laundry at midnight. (Fresh linen was delivered the next morning but we’d already done the laundry.) One of our party slept on the main floor couch since the bottom bunk smelled like urine. There was spilt cereal in one of the bedrooms, jumbled bedding in the loft area, cobweb and dirt in the corners and along walls, dirty dishes and sticky cookware. Swim spa was not usable…maintenance came out but the ph level never reached the safe level before we left. As nice a place it was, we will most likely choose elsewhere next time.
