About this house rental

TreeTops is a peaceful and spacious retreat located in Clinton, Washington near the southern tip of beautiful Whidbey Island. TreeTops is just a 10-minute drive from the Clinton ferry terminal which runs every half-hour to the mainland at Mukilteo, north of Seattle. TreeTops is perched high upon a bluff above an exclusive marina on Cultus Bay surrounded by mature native trees, hence the name. From the expansive view windows or the deck you can watch cruise ships and many other vessels pass by in the shipping channel of Puget Sound with the majestic snow-covered Olympic Mountains beyond. As nature blankets you, observe the numerous wildlife including deer, bunnies, shore birds, and a nest of Eagles a mere 50 yards away. Our safe and friendly community is called Sandy Hook Yacht Club Estates. TreeTops is an idyllic getaway for one or many. Throughout every season, you will find something for everyone to enjoy!

The beach on Cultus Bay is a quick walk down from TreeTops. You can experience some of the best beach combing and clam digging during low tide. Enjoy long leisurely beach walks while watching the sunrise or sunset. Two family friendly community parks are also within walking distance. The first park has a play structure with swings overlooking the beachfront. A large grassy area allows free play with activities such as frisbee, football, soccer or kite flying. The community campfire pit is a cozy gathering place for roasting s’mores and ending a perfect day spent with family and friends. A little further down the street you will find another park with a basketball court, two tennis courts, pickle ball court and children’s play area.

TreeTops was specifically designed for comfort with 2,500 square feet of guest living space. Upon your arrival, you will cross over the footbridge which leads you to the upper main floor entry. The living room, dining area, kitchen, full bathroom, laundry room, deck, and Queen bedroom (complete with library and reading space) are on this main level.

In addition for your comfort, TreeTops is fully airconditioned and heated. The living room is centrally located with a large leather reclining sectional, a 40” HDTV with hundreds of channels via DISH TV and a Blu-ray disk player. A cozy conversation corner near the gas log fireplace is complete with comfy club chairs and a couch. The cathedral ceilings and large picture windows boast spectacular views. The dining area seats six, however, you may extend the seating up to 10+ in this area with available table leaves and folding table/chairs. The kitchen has many conveniences such as: microwave, ceramic stovetop, oven, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator/freezer with filtered water/ice dispenser, Keurig with coffee pods/creamer & sweeteners, drip coffee maker, 4-slice toaster, dishware/glassware/stemware/pots & pans/utensils/numerous seasonings/trash bags/foil & plastic ziplock bags of various sizes/dish soap & dishwasher pods, and a large pantry space for all your groceries. Please note the entire community is on a septic system and therefore we do not have an in-sink garbage disposal. Two bar stools at the kitchen counter are a casual eating option or the counter can be utilized as a buffet area for large groups. Off the kitchen and dining area is a sliding glass door that leads out to the top floor deck. Beautiful views await you while eating al fresco at the 10+ person deck dining table.
Entering the Queen bedroom you will notice the expansive library with cozy reading chair/space. The Queen bed features a pillowtop mattress along with an allergen protective mattress cover and quality linens. The adjacent full-size bathroom with tub/shower combo has many fluffy white towels, stocked toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. An 8 foot table with chairs is available for working puzzles, board games or an additional dining space. The media room has French doors that lead out to the lower deck with a porch swing, stainless steel barbeque and beautiful natural landscaping.

The first bedroom downstairs houses a professional grade billiard pool table which is the hub for competitive fun entertainment. Twice the space for the price of everywhere else we looked. Clean, spacious, well stocked, and with generous well prepared hosts. Excellent internet for an island rental, 100down/200up/7ms ping with a range extender on each floor. Offered us early check in and late check out, and when we had a brief two hour power outage (someone hit a pole), they immediately responded and walked me through firing up the on site generator. You wouldn’t know there was an outage at all, they were completely prepared, and have our thanks.

This property was a lifesaver. We looked for so long for a property to accommodate our wedding party and finally, by the grace of Dan and Brenda, we found this property. The first thing was the host responsiveness, they were so helpful and sweet. The property was clean, charming and exactly what we needed. We had a great weekend and the hosts went above and beyond, to the point where we were literally treated like family (I’m not exaggerating at all). Please stay here because this place was an absolute gem of a place!

Stayed here with a group of adults and children and everyone was blown away! The property was super clean and stocked with everything you need. They had very comfortable high quality mattresses for all beds (somewhat rare in rentals) that provided a good night sleep for everyone. Good sized upstairs and kitchen with amazing views. And a huge downstairs / rec room with big bedrooms that provided a ton of space for all of the family to hang. Beyond that, it was a short bike ride or walk down to a massive beach to enjoy some incredible sunsets in the very friendly community of Sandy Hook. We will certainly rent again.

So I myself did not stay here but I came back to it every night to hang out and have dinner. Why? I was staying around the corner and a rustic cabin on the beach but this place is so spacious, modern and inviting. Sometimes I dreaded having to go back to our rustic cabin. There is tons of space to roam around here! The house is in top notch condition along with the views. The wine they provided was a nice added touch! I would come back to rent this place in a heartbeat. Thanks again for having us

We throughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Brenda & Dan were kind & generous hosts. The house and community exceeded our expectations. They knew we were in town for a memorial service and offered to let us check in early & check out later which we really appreciated. We especially enjoyed dining on the deck, walking down the road to the beach to enjoy sunset, the ping pong table, community pickle ball courts & letting our kids get their wiggles out on the playground before bed time. Highly recommend this rental!
