Excellent view from room. Quiet. There wasn’t employees around, room did not get cleaned while we were there. No fridge in room, but you could use the one in the kitchen. TV is very small. The negatives would be fine if the price reflected it. FYI we called to add an additional night and the price charged by the property was considerably less than the price on Expedia.

The inn is an old established property. We have been there prior, and love spending hours on the rocky beach. We bring our own food and use the inn's refrigerator, toaster and microwave.
Dishes, knives, forks, bottled water and regular coffee [in the AM] are available. I brought my decaf, and the staff set me up with a separate coffee maker.
Room was clean, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was both pleasant and helpful.
We never used the hot tub on either trip, and I think it would be nice to have table and chairs for the room decks instead. Trimming the ivy so guests could see the beach from their rooms would be incredible.
Updating with a small refrigerator and fan even though it cools down at night, would be a nice gesture. An ice machine somewhere on site would go a long, long way.
The upstairs balcony is beautiful with great seating and view. A perfect place for a hot tub and propane firepit in the evenings if either were available.
I still love coming here and I hate to see it disappear because of bad reviews.
It is a peaceful, quiet getaway, just be prepared to be self-reliant which I've seen with other hotels in the area.
Getting to the beach below the property can be a tricky maneuver. I'm in my late 70's however and with a helpful hand made it down just fine.
Visit the Iverson Spit Waterfront Preserve for a great day at a sandy beach.
Wakeup/light up the inn, make it attractive to old/new guests so we can keep coming back for years to come.

I’m sure this is a nicer place when their bistro is up and running. However, there is no air conditioning and no microwave in the rooms. Don’t go there when it is 80° or more in the area. The temperature in your room will be unbearable.
We were booked and paid for 2 nights, but didn’t want to stay for night 2, and we just left.

We had a great time staying here! It could use some updating and there was no ac which made for some warmer nights, but it had everything we needed. There is not staff there all the time so it felt more like an Airbnb.
The bistro isn’t open, but we found a breakfast place at the Cama Beach State Park that was delicious and just 5 minutes down the road.
The views were beautiful and there was beach access so we could take our paddle boards right down to the water.
Would stay here again for sure!

I had a wonderful, quiet stay at this undiscovered little inn. I, quite literally, never saw another person, including staff. Someone must have been there though as there was coffee made each morning. My room info came via text, and worked flawlessly. My only critique would be that the toilet bolts in room 3 need to be tightened as the « throne » was a little wobbly.

No hot water, door lock broken, extremely hot upstairs but no AC. Pictures and any good reviews from like 20 years ago.

Don’t believe Hotels.com there is and never has been a Bistro no breakfast, the worst coffee I’ve ever had, and it will be cold. This was a disgusting experience. We are in different properties 270 days a year. This for the price was by far the worst.

There is no coffee in the room. No food service at all. The property is “tired”, needs some updating. Never once saw a staff member.

I liked that homey feel & because there was noone around I still felt safe.

Hassel to track down anyone to provide check-in instructions, asked about drinking water staff unresponsive. Tampons on the floor which means the room wasn't cleaned, flies all over the cups ..

What a charming inn on some of the most spectacular private coastline in the Pacific Northwest. We loved our spot, feet up on our own private balcony watching Blue Heron, Bald Eages, etc. and boats going by, wandering down the path to the pebble beach below, picking blackberries... Idyllic. Our innkeeper, Charlene was so accommodating, SO hardworking. She was constantly cleaning, prepping, on the go, and yet took all the time in the world to chat with us about the Inn, local attractions, eateries etc. This is an older inn in a rustic setting, and if you don't do charming and rustic, this is not the spot for you. Keep to your 5 star resorts in the city and miss out on the sheer beauty and tranquility of this place. Prior to our stay, we read some scathing reviews on popular sites, but decided to risk it. Thank goodness. And all we have to say about the vehement attacks posted on line, is that those folks are used to being pampered and waited on, and need to stay well away from this amazing little place. Only one note .... Very few units, only one unit, #8, is on the little country road, and not oceanfront, so we would recommend asking for the oceanfront, which all others are ....Enjoy!!

In its day it was a nice place, but is by far what it is now. And don't be fooled by the pictures of the rooms. They are not like that they are grossly misrepresented. And beware there is no air conditioning.very uncomfortable at 95 degrees. The only good i found to say here is the Inn keeper was very nice and did her best to accommodate us. Find another place if you can this is not the one.

The room was not as advertised online. My room was very small with no amenities (and no hot tub as advertised). The restaurant never reopened after Covid, so there's no food service at the hotel. There's also no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, so you have to either go out and eat or bring it back and eat it on the bed as there's no table in the room (at least the one I stayed in). The walls are also very, very thin so you can hear everything happening in the room(s) around you. I also couldn't ever figure out how to access the beach from the hotel. I had to get in my car and drive to a beach 10 mins away. I was quite disappointed and cut my stay short.

There was no staff on the property and we had not given our cell phone, which was the only way to get a code to enter. We finally got in touch with the owner and got a code. We had no hot water and the TV didn’t work properly. Not a good experience. We are requesting a refund.

It was a comfortable room but needs some updating. There were several small wall heaters and the shower stall was extremely small. It reminded me of a camper shower.

Booked two nights for my partner's birthday. There was a small mix-up with the reservation but they upgraded our room easily. We had the whole place to ourselves. Quiet, beautiful property and the staff was incredible. Will definitely be back again.

Let start with the fact that I am not picky and never review places…our stay was horrible!
We never saw an employee the entire time. It was self check-in (cool) but once you got the code to the front door, your room information & code was in an unsecured envelope so anyone checking in before you could in theory get your code.
The entire place needed upkeep. The hall way carpeting was filthy; lots of cob webs on light fixtures. The door to the patio was blocked all weekend for “wet paint” so we couldn’t utilize the patio.
The grounds where sad and not attended too. Ignore the beautiful pictures of the gardens; they don’t exist. There were tons of huge blackberries so bring a bucket if that’s your thing. We walked the path to the beach & my dream of reading in a comfy adirondack chair was dashed as they don’t exist.
LOTS of spiders IN THE ROOM. One was on the ceiling over the bed when we got there, one dropped down on us watching a movie, two lived in the bathroom & there were two HUGE ones at different times; one we left in the bathroom as we quickly departed & one is now a black spot on the carpet. The bedroom carpet was old and lifting. Both my husband & myself punctured our feet on carpet tacks. The shades don’t fully close so it was bright when trying to sleep. Breakfast was simply a standard continental. Shower drain didn’t work well so at the end of the shower was standing in 3” of water.
The good: quiet and the bed was comfy

The location is great! We enjoyed the beach and sunset. We were in unit 8 since we had 3 adults and was the only unit to accommodate us. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all and made loud noises each time we moved in it so we did not sleep well. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Very nice hosts.

our room was not clean it was very hot out so we took our shoes and socks off when we got in the room with in a few hours the bottom of our feet were black we had to wash them to go to bed the floor almost felt gritty
went took take a shower and had to clean a fair amount of hair out of it from the people before us
they warned us that it takes a while to get hot water which was ok but they did not tell you that it goes freezing cold every 30 seconds then back to hot
on a positive side the lady that call us with the door code was very nice and helpful

Beautiful location. FANTASTIC Inn keeper! Very old, very run down. Room 3 hot tub does not work and room.7 jetted tub ran out of hot water 1/4 full. Room 3 bed FANTASTIC. Room 7 bed hard! Had to wait over 5 minutes for hot water for shower in room 3 and then ran out before end of shower. AMAZING VIEW! spoke with owners and was offered a $15 discount for not being able to enjoy a hot tub during my stay .... that was the entire reason I stayed there and then she never called me back like she said she would. Again, the Inn Keeper did her very best with what she's working with. The place is in need of repair. Mold in the shower, tile falling off and was awake most of first night because the hot tub heater kept going on all through the night and would not turn off and the jets would not go on when I used it and not very hot :( VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We told the owner that we were going to be there later then 7. Which was great, they took us in at 8:30pm. The room was pleasantly clean, but overwhelmingly outdated. It said rollaway beds available - not. Mattresses were HORRIBLE. It said breakfast included- NOT.

I was hopeful for a quaint waterfront cottage-style getaway but was a bit disappointed, the room had spiders in it, no extra linen for the fold-out hide-a-bed, had to remove blankets from the main queen bed in the room & share the blankets between us. Beach access was nice though, & the garden spaces were pretty.
There was only a tiny cramped standup shower in our unit, I did not realize that when I booked it…a little disappointing. TV remote didn’t work, first-world problems, I know, but it was kind of annoying. No coffee maker or fridge…we ended up buying a coffee maker in town & bringing it back with us to the room.
I’d give it a rating of 2.5-3 out of 5 stars. Not the worst I’ve stayed in but there’s need for some improvement. Perhaps the other rooms inside the actual main Inn building were nicer, but our room was an outside shed-like building. So be sure to ask which room you are booking to make sure it isn’t the “outside shed-like” room.

The hot tub was fantastic and the breakfast was lovely :)

When I booked online, I did not get to choose a room (there was only one left) The room left was not like the ones represented in the pictures. It did not have a view and it was dark and dingy with cobwebs in multiple areas. The room was supposedly discounted due to this but I didn’t see this. Very overpriced. The rest of the Inn was better and I was able to sit outside in common areas and enjoy the ocean view.
3.0 / 10.0
We stayed in Room 8, it is the only one without a view. It is dark, right on the highway and was not very clean. I am sure the other rooms are nice with views and hot tubs but this was not our experience.

We had a beautiful four poster bed and a brand new hot tub on the deck. Even though the hedge could have been trimmed providing a better view of the water, the hummingbirds feeding on it made us happy. The party room upstairs was huge and inviting but we discovered it too late for an after memorial gathering.

Absence of any staff at check-in was very odd - entire inn was empty. A text had given me outside and room door codes, and stated to retrieve an envelope from the front desk. There was no envelope and I had no cell reception. I left to find wifi at a gas/grocery so was able to request Camano Island Inn's wifi. Friday morning/departure I had problems with shower hot water which I had breakfast staff verify for partial reimbursement.

The room was super hot with no AC. There is no cafe, restaurant is closed, no room service, “full breakfast” was a JOKE. I do not consider cold Costco Croissants, one strawberry, two cherries, and a bunch of grapes (for two people) a full breakfast. Offering cold continental breakfast on the side of this was also ridiculous. You can still maintain covid procedures and provide a full contactless breakfast. The toilet nearly overflowed with every use. With no restaurant and no room service I would suggest purchasing mini fridges for the guest rooms because we had to eat out every meal, and then throw away leftovers with nowhere to store it. We ended up leaving and checking out 2 days early. When I sent the text message that we had checked out early they “read” the message but never even followed up with why we left 2 days early.

View was nice, no office manager or breakfast. No one cleaned room after one night. Went back to room 8 hrs later still not clean an decided not to stay. They had mo one in sight..very dissatisfied and they didn’t hold up to what they promised.

The outdoor lawn, upper balcony deck and beach lawn are lovely for enjoying spectacular view. Beach access great for walk at mid to low tide. We enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee and snacks. Not a fan of lox and bagels for breakfast, but appreciate their creativity to provide boxed breakfast.
The downside to our stay was sleepless night in room 8. The room is addition to the main building only feet from busy road. The head of sofa bed is up against wall adjacent to road. Through out the night we could hear cars speeding by. Compounding that, there is very little padding on sofa bed mattress. Springs easily felt and deep slant/indent in mattress sofa bed. Every time other guest turned on sofa bed it squeaked loudly. In hindsight sleeping on the sofa itself would have been a huge improvement. Queen bed fine, but we needed separate beds. I would NOT recommend this room to anyone needing a 2 bed option.

There was instant and easy Self check in with no one else staying the night other than my boyfriend and I. FANTASTIC location and great hot tub with views! Amazing landscape and cute place. They let you use everything behind the bar like wine keys and glasses/dishware. Amazing breakfast that she prepared for us!!
Super clean everywhere - almost impeccable. We definitely felt safe and taken care of.
Downfalls: Terribly hard bed - no desk inside room so we brought the small one from outside in. No microwave nor fridge so we went and bought a cooler. No counter space in bathroom to set anything down on easily so we moved the footstool over to set up things we needed to get ready with the next day. Small garbage can so we took all our garbage and brought it to the main area from our room to dispose of which was ok but just abnormal.

The view was my favorite, just beautiful! Bed was comfortable. Jetted hot tub is BIG. The location of the tub was different. Different in the fact that it was only a few feet away from the bed, but no complaints. Really enjoyed our stay.

AWESOME BEACH FRONT PROPERTY, HUGE TUB IN THE ROOM AND A ROOF TOB DECK. RAN OUT OF HOT WATER AND THE BATHROOM FAN DIDN'T WORK.

This is the third time the Vrbo listing has been very inaccurate to what we received I was very disappointed

The view was amazing, but the service was not. Our TV was broken the entire time and nobody bothered to fix it. The Inn has no staff after 3pm either, so you are on your own if there's a problem.
