Welcome to Merricks North Tiny House, an off-grid home set in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria's picturesque coastal wine region. Get away from it all in a stunning rural setting surrounded by rolling pastures.
Capable of sleeping two, this luxuryTiny House is purpose-built for eco-conscious guests with a mind for the environment. The queen-sized bed has a Koala mattress and a remote-controlled skylight blind. With two lofts, one has a queen-sized bed accessible by built-in stairs. The other is accessed by a ladder with a couch best suited to cozywinter movie nights.
Downstairs, a fold-out couch offers plenty of space to unwind after long days exploring Pt Leo, Bushrangers Bay, Red Hill or Sorrento. In the kitchen, you'll find a full-size oven, fridge, microwave and dual-burner gas stove. The Tiny House is remarkably quiet at night so you will enjoy uninterrupted sleep.
The space has been designed for eco-conscious guests. Some quick things to note:
- Solar-powered(no backup power)
- Composting toilet
- 5000L water tank
With a small French Courtyard lined with veggie boxes, you can enjoy croissants amongst nature or have an afternoon enjoying the outdoor fire pit. For a rainy day timetable, play cards, pick up a complimentary book, or bring a laptop and watch a movie from the comfort of the bed or the fold-out couch downstairs.
If you are keen on exploring the area, the Mornington Peninsula is a world-renown wine region with spectacular wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, cafes, galleries and food stores, all just a short drive from the Retreat.
They include the area’s newest luxury hotel and restaurant, Jackalope, which is less than one minute away from the Tiny House by car.

Lovely spot inland a bit close to everything you need. Be prepared for the composting toilet and bring your own AAA batteries! Host responded very quickly to the only query we had. Thanks for a really easy and relaxing holiday in your beautiful tiny home Harry!

This is a beautiful, eco-friendly tiny home. It has everything you could need and is a short drive from lots of lovely spots on the peninsula. Waking up to the tree-scape and birds was lovely. Harry was responsive and accommodating.

A beautiful location and property to stay and unwind. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.
