About this house rental
In need of some fresh salty air and the soundtrack of Kookaburras? Our sweet little house is here for you! Perfect for couples or small groups of friends, the good place is brimming full of sunlight, books, plants and art.
Outside we've got a beautiful big garden with large old shade trees and a veggie patch with edible flowers and herbs - a tip top spot to enjoy a beveragino at dusk.
The house is surrounded by pines and gums on a dirt road just a short 5 minute meander to the village.
Our house is capital C cute. A sweet cottage with lots of windows, a fireplace, vintage furniture, a beautiful timber kitchen and a couple of disco balls for good measure - the vibe is cosy, home-y and fun. We have all the necessities like a stove/oven, air conditioner, dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee, tea, a jar of local muesli and a bottle of local bubbles to celebrate the start of your holiday!
Our house is on a peaceful dirt road surrounded by pines and is just a short walk to the village where you can eat and drink your heart out!
French, Chinese, Japanese, fish and chips, Italian, Modern Australian and quite possibly the best dough on the ninch from Fontalina's pizza. Not to mention amazing coffee from a handful of wonderful cafes.
The best bit? There's a good old country pub where you can sip on a couple of pints and listen to some live music in the sunshine.
In the village you'll find Ritchies, a chemist, a post office, a dentist and a doctors clinic - everything you could possibly need.
Here for the beach? The house is situated exactly 3 kms from Balnarring beach, which is a 30 min leisurely sojourn from door to shore, or if it's an absolute scorcher the car'll get you in there in five.
If you feel like going a little further afield we're on the doorstep of incredible wineries, beaches, hikes, hot springs, trail rides, orchards, galleries and restaurants.
PLEASE MESSAGE US FIRST IF YOU WANT TO STAY WITH YOUR PET -
Only clean, house trained, quiet dogs are welcome at TGP. No pets in bedrooms or on the furniture (please bring their bed).
Also, we do not have a secure yard, so your pet will have to be happy to spend time inside with you.
GUEST INTERACTION:
We live about 25 minutes away so we're here for you if you need us but you'll have the place to yourself with self-check in, talk about privacy!
You'll have access to the house and garden - everything except the garage.
NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Although small, Balnarring packs a mighty punch with a heady mix of untouched beaches, some of the best restaurants on the peninsula, acres of grape vines, beautiful walks and a chilled community vibe. If you're looking for a slower pace and a pine-shaded place to step away from the daily grind - then Bal is one of the best spots on the Peninsula. No traffic jams or bustling main streets, no jet skis or packed out beaches. Just sea, sun and a charming little village (with AMAZING restaurants)- we can guarantee you'll feel a world away from wherever you came. That's what a holiday is for, right?
You can walk to the village in around 5-10 mins, it'll take a little longer if you've got dawdling kidlets!
The village has everything you need: a chemist, a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, a health food shop, clothing and homeware boutiques, a news agent and a post office!
