Nestled under sprawling Live Oaks, this recently-built four-bedroom/3.5-bath Bald Head Island Maritime Forest retreat beckons you to unwind in a rocker on its charming front porch and listen to cicada lullabies. When you step into the foyer of this sparkler, you'll appreciate the thought that went into designing this home. Here is a built-in bench and cubbies-the perfect spot to unload. Around the corner, a mudroom comes from the garage and has the laundry located off it. Beyond, the open floor plan is surrounded by walls of windows that provide natural light and frame the quiet, wooded surroundings. Just one look at the tranquil scenery and you will feel yourself relax. The comfy living area offers plenty of seating and opens to a spacious screened porch that overlooks the private backyard.
Chefs will relish the kitchen's vast quartz counters, stainless appliances-including a wine/beverage fridge, the large island and abundant storage. Enjoy snacks or meals at the breakfast bar or in the elegant nearby dining space. A convenient King suite, featuring a deep walk-in closet and-behind a barndoor-its own ensuite with a large, tiled shower, dual vanity and water closet, is also located on the first floor along with a half bath. Vaulted stairs lead up to three family-friendly bedrooms. The first is a bunkroom with two Queens and two Twins. It shares a Jack-and-Jill (including a tub shower) with a spacious Queen bedroom that houses its own reading nook. A second King suite on this level boasts forest and golf course views as well as two closets and a pampering full bath. All bedrooms are equipped with Smart TVs.
Your kids will love this home's ping pong table, corn hole boards, yard-size Jenga and Bocce Ball, not to mention the numerous board games and puzzles. You'll appreciate the house's classic details such as shiplap, wide-planked LVP, crown molding and stylized light fixtures. Centrally located close to the beach, shops and dining-this property comes with the use of two 2022 golf carts (a four- and a six-passenger) as well as four beach chairs, four boogie boards and four bikes. For the beach vacation you've been dreaming of-this home is Totally Worth It!
Remember, with Wendy Wilmot Properties there are no surprise "add-on" expenses. Plus, our homes' rental charges include cleaning fees, damage insurance and our Property Manager Assistance Line, available you'll appreciate if your air conditioning goes out on the weekend or you get a golf cart flat after 5 PM.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON CLUBS: Both clubs are independent from WWP or any WWP properties. As such, all arrangements for temporary memberships must be handled by renters directly with the Clubs. Tenants are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules. WWP representatives will not be able to answer most club-related questions.
