We had a wonderful stay there. The house was fully stocked and modern. The owner certainly left some personal touches that made it feel like a home. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Beautiful home with lots of really thoughtful details. Host was very responsive when we accidentally tripped a breaker our first day. Even mailed back some minor items we had accidentally left behind. So nice to be within walking distance of Nevada City for restaurants and shopping, and was a lovely cozy abode to come back to after a day at the river. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely home with really thoughtful details throughout. Each bedroom was comfortable, perfectly decorated and well sized. The living area with fire place was a wonderful space to hang out in. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and dining. We loved the house, particularly the arrangements of books in most rooms to spark conversation and introduce new authors. Easy to walk to Nevada City and the neighborhood was quiet and fun to walk through. Highly recommend.

This is a prime location to Historic Nevada City which is my favorite! So much room, very clean and stocked. We all felt so comfortable as it felt like our own home! The host was wonderful and all instructions for the property were very clear! Great experience and highly recommended!

Very comfortable accommodations. Bed was nice and firm. It is a smart house which took some adjustment for us. Left half and half and coffee grounds for us. Key for us was a hiking guide.

The house was awesome for our group to stay in while attending a wedding in the area. We loved all of the room we had for each family to have space and the house was clean and well equipped. We weren’t able to find an iron/steamer or a vacuum to get our clothes ready for the even and clean up the kids diamond art spill, but we used the dryer and a lint roller and figured it out. We’d love to come back again!!!

The location of the home is awesome. We took several walks and enjoyed our time in Nevada City. The home has a lot of steps, so it was good our mother stayed in a hotel instead. We had good interaction with the host. Very quick to respond and very helpful. There is a lot of tech in the home. Light sensors, google home, etc. Kind of interesting... The backyard was beautiful.
Overall - a very nice place to gather and stay. Thank you!

My family and I stayed at the Long Street Retreat while attending the wedding of my grandson. We were amazed by the house as there were so many unique and comfortable features. It fit us perfectly as there were 4 bedrooms and plenty of kitchen space. It was close to the wedding venue and right down the street from a grocery store. We were very comfortable and would choose this property again.

The house was great! There were 6 adults (2 couples) and we all had plenty of space, and comfortable beds. Everything is as nice as it seems, and the two bathrooms are one down and one upstairs making it easier to share. The house was stocked with special touches including a bit of French Roast coffee and a bottle of wine. We loved being able to come and go from the house all using the code for entry. There was motion lighting in the entry and kitchen to help you find your way, The decor was charming and comfortable. We didn’t cook much, as the restaurants are so good, but we had all the necessary items for a couple great meals. It was about an 8 minute walk to town, if that, and so cute and a with a great live music and bar scene. It was still a bit snowy, but we can’t wait to come back in summer to enjoy the yard and outdoor dining. Thank you so much to our hosts!
