POTENTIAL FOR NOISE
This home is part of a two-story home that has separate homes in the top and bottom level. Your home is the bottom level. When there are guests upstairs, you should expect some overhead noise. If you are a light sleeper or want perfect quiet, this may not be the place for you. (Consider booking the upper unit instead, or inquire about our 3BR or 6BR homes nearby!)
PETS & PET FEE
Well-behaved pets are welcome with a $50 fee (per pet) per stay. Please inquire about our pet policy.
NO AC
This home has concrete floors and close contact with earth, which keeps it naturally cool. Open the windows for an extra cross-breeze at night, and close them up to keep in the cool air. There are only 4-8 weeks per year that Montana gets hot. These things typically keep the home cool, but we want to be very transparent with our guests that we do not have AC.
CANCELLATIONS
The cancellation policy applies to all bookings. An additional $150 cancellation fee will be charged to cover credit card processing and admin fees on all cancellations.
RENTER'S AGREEMENT
A signed renter's agreement is required for all reservations, as well as a picture of a government-issued photo ID and a picture of your credit card used to book showing only the last 4 digits and your name. This is to prevent credit card fraud and is meant to protect you as the renter and us as hosts.
DEPOSIT
We require a $300 deposit for each reservation, which will be processed 3 days before your arrival. As long as there is no unexpected damage to the home, deposits are automatically refunded in full in 7 days.

The property itself was beautiful. I’m tactfully trying to be honest about the inside provisions.
I only had a half roll of toilet paper for 6 nights along with paper towels. I ran out. I’m pretty conservative.
The kitchen potholders were dirty and smelled.
The kitchen dish cloths were very badly stained
and dirty looking.
The bed cover had stains on it.
I just felt it could have been kept up a little better.
There was other occupants in the upstairs. Very noisy.
It is a very nice place!

Great place out away from everyone but close enough to Whitehall and other cities.

Plenty of land to hike the dog and perfect for kids.

Clean and nice views. My mom said there was one issue with the mattress on the bottom bunk. It had small plastic tags (tufting pins) that she could feel through the sheets and ended up using the couch cushions as a barrier. She suggests, maybe a new mattress or a nice thick mattress pad.
Thanks!
Amy

Groceries to prepare dinner and the kitchen did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a relaxing clean stay.
