I loved staying at this cabin with my dogs. It was very clean and perfect for staying close to town for eating and shopping. I will definitely be back!

This was my second stay here. It is lovely and comfortable. The outdoor dining table and sitting area are a plus. So is the Webber gas grill. The house has been updated. The bathrooms and kitchen are very nice. I hope to return in the future.

We had a 2 night stay at Hidden Bear Cottage and loved it for our little family of 4. The cottage has been updated and was very comfortable for us. The kids loved running around in the backyard and we loved the fire pit and scenery. Close to town but still secluded. We will be back!

Thank you for sharing your cottage! So very clean, easy check in, and cozy beds! Love the carport area for easy unpacking! The balcony was Roxie’s cozy hang out place!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Hidden Bear. The house was beautiful, clean, and close to town. The hosts also checked in and made sure we had everything needed! Would definitely recommend for your Highlands trip!

We enjoyed this home. It was very convenient to Highlands and met our expectations based on the listing.
It was clean, well equipped, located in a pretty location to enjoy the fall leaves. The size was perfect for us and our small dog.
The owner checked on us during the stay and answered the very few questions we had. We would wholeheartedly recommend this house for a couple.

The house interior is modern with an attractive, spacious, open plan. Very clean, comfortable with all necessary amenities. Located in a good neighborhood, there was little noise and lots of privacy. Liked the big front and back yards, fire pit, covered parking. Five minutes to town with plenty of places to walk. We were there10 days and had a great stay.

An absolute game changer to our family vacation. Perfect cozy size for myself, husband and two small kids. Quaint, clean and really nicely decorated. Has everything you need and perfect/close distance to Highlands. Would like to stay again on our next trip!

We had a wonderful weekend in Highlands. The house is in a great location and had everything we could want/need for our stay. We look forward to returning soon!!

The property was great. We experienced a little hiccup with check-in but it was addressed immediately. A suggestion that I have is that it would be nice to have hangers in the closets. We don't normally travel with them and had to use the shelves in the closets instead of being able to hang shirts, jackets etc. An outside broom would be helpful too to move the leaves off the driveway as they get slick. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a wonderful time . Relaxing and the fall trees were absolutely gorgeous!

My husband and I stayed a week at this mirror lake cottage and truly had a enjoyable time. The place is just as pictured if not even a little more spacious, we loved the multiple outdoor seating areas. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals and enjoy leftovers. It was cozy and comfortable, nicely decorated and we stayed plenty warm during the cold snap. We had no issues and did not contact Evolve during our stay but I did end up adding an additional night shortly after booking and the customer service was great to deal with. I would recommend this listing to couples or small families, we loved that it is pet friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

THERE IS NO AC! The listing did not say there was, our error in not looking closely. It is sufficiently hot in highlands in August, we will not rent again in Highlands without AC. The rental is a pleasant walk (but long at 1.8 miles) to downtown Highlands, or a really short and easy drive. The yard is large, relatively flat, great for dogs, plenty of parking. Also, a nice fire pit with firewood and comfortable chairs. The house is small, barely OK for us as a couple, maybe OK for a couple with young kids, too cozy for 2 couples as 2nd bedroom is very small. While there are nice outdoor spaces, none are covered, and the outdoor furnishings are spartan. The management was unhelpful on a request for a 2-hour early check-in (house was not rented the day before), or providing kitchen items that you would expect in a rental. There was one coffee mug (and a couple of huge mugs that you might use for soup), the toaster did not work properly, no cushions for outside iron chairs. We made the management company aware of these things early in the rental, they chose not to address them. No one of these things are terrible, but put them all together and it diminishes the experience. The furnishings and appointments in the house (dishes, pots, pans, etc.) are minimal, kind of like a college apartment. Would not stay here again.

We had a great stay! Clean, welcoming, good location to town, a sweet outdoor spot for lots of great conversations by the fire, and close to hikes-views and waterfalls. We would consider staying again!

Overall, the house and outdoor areas are great. It's a short drive to town and in an older, forested, quiet neighborhood. I even saw a family of bears strolling across the road one morning! I really enjoyed the Weber grill. The house was clean and had most of what I needed for a comfortable stay. However, I had to request a regular coffee maker and provide my own filters. The front deck had not been swept off for quite some time, nor had the carport, and there was no broom in the house. It took about 3 days for the property manager to have a broom dropped off and I had to do the sweeping. There is no air conditioning in this house, which is fine most of the time, but there were a couple of warmer than usual nights where AC would have been appreciated. The ceiling fan and light fixture in the second bedroom was non-functional, but I didn't need to use that room, fortunately. Property manager was not very responsive. I had to follow up with phone calls since most emails were not being answered. But overall, a lovely place and I enjoyed it very much.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood close to the center of highlands. Comfortable and well equipped. We were a bit disappointed that the second bedroom did not have a bed but a sleeper sofa. This was not ideal for our group but would have worked well for a child. I don’t think this was clear in the listing. On the positive side the bathrooms are excellent.

The house was great, lots of new upgrades. Great location, and easy to get to. Close to town, only a short drive. The house only has streaming TV. Could not get CBS, so missed the Georgia game. We really liked the house and will go back, just not during College football season!

We had a great time in the Highlands. The cabin was super cozy and enough space for a family of 3. We were a close drive to downtown. Walking distance to a small lake. Would stay again.

Cute and recently renovated cottage in a quiet neighborhood has everything you need (except coffee). Had some cleaning issues and a delayed check in. Hopefully, just a one time thing.

Location is great! House was clean and well stocked. Back yard is very private and peaceful. Neighborhood was quite and walkable with our pup. Only negative was that the windows were painted shut so they were very difficult to open and close.

excellent property, close to main street (10 minutes)

We arrived a little early and everything was ready for us. Just the right amount of space for two or a couple with two kids. Close to town and activities and very quiet. Comfortable and clean. We will come back.

This was a clean, convenient and comfortable house. We had a great time. The location was convenient. Unfortunately it rained so we couldn't use the outdoor dining and fire pit. Loved the "hidden bear" theme.
