Far too hot but convenient location

Convenient location and comfy beds

The room was SO hot and it wasn't even a drastically hot day. They had put a bunk bed over the window to squeeze more beds in a small space, and it meant there was no air flow. Really needed some fans in there. I was on the top bunk and there was no little shelf to put a glass of water or a charging plus for your phone. Also had to pay for towels as extras which I thought was a bit cheeky. I know it's London, but for the cost I would have expected a towel.

I highly recommend Hostelle to any women travelling solo or with friends.

The atmosphere, people. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I felt safe the whole time I was staying there. I loved it there.

the location was great, and I felt very safe to get there, just a short walk from the tube.

When climbing down from the upper deck of the bed, I held tight the handrail but thereʻs an opening, it was so sharp that it cut my index finger. Your staff helped put a plaster on the wound and it stopped bleeding immediately. Thank you. And I think there shouldnʻt be an opening in the handrail, for safety reason.

Best hostel for solo Travel Girls

I love Hostelle London. It's central located and it is a nice place to stay and rest after strolling through London all day. The beds are comfortable and the curtains give you all the privacy you need.

Clean welcoming safe place to stay

A friendly welcome. It met my expectations for a women’s hostel; was perfect location for where I wanted. The hostel was clean, rooms as described. There was a male staff member on overnight which was no issue for me, tho might be for some?

Male voice at 1am

It had a nice and friendly reception when I arrived, the receptionist was lovely and told me everything I needed to know.

Heard sleeptalking with a male voice and continued to snore like a man. Defeats the purpose of a female hostel. They should cater for cis-women too and have separate dorms for them.

Okay for a few days in London

The location of the hostel is great. Close to Bethnal Green tube station. There is also a bus stop right outside the door and you can walk to Brick Lane in about 30 minutes. By London standards, it's practically nothing. There is a small kitchen and a nice common area. There are also activities on offer. Personally, I always like it when the toilets and showers are separate. There were plenty of them and they were also clean. Wifi was very good. Perfect for streaming.

The tube ran almost directly under my room. At least that's what I felt. It was therefore quite loud. The lockable compartment under the bed was made of metal and therefore also quite loud when you pulled it out. There wasn't much room for it either. Unfortunately, I didn't like the atmosphere in the hostel. Somehow it didn't have a good vibe.

Super endroit à Londres

Safe place, pleins d'équipements pour cuisiner soi-même par exemple, super propre et proche du métro !

Juste réveillée super tôt par quelqu'un d'autre qui avait laissé la lumière allumée, et étant sur le lit du dessus j'avais la lumière directement dans les yeux ! Mais c'est les joies d'un hostel j'aurai dû mettre un bandeau occultant 😝

I really enjoyed staying there and would choose it again anytime.

Everything was clean and beautiful. I really loved my Bridgerton themed room.

I stayed for a week and I must say; on Friday the noise was terrible, however, one day of the week is absolutely forgettable. Let the people have some fun! 😊 Otherwise I would suggest better lights. In my opinion the lamps aren’t bright enough. It was a struggle to do my makeup in the mornings. 😅

Perfetto per ragazze sole/con amiche

Posizione perfetta per visitare Londra (vicinanza alla metro) e per arrivare dall'aereoporto di Stansted (vicinanza alla fermata del bus national express). Ambiente friendly e safe. Pulizia degli spazi comuni.

Camera da 16 persone senza finestre e possibilità di arieggiare la stanza.

Best hostel in London or One of the few times being a woman is a privilege

It's a fantastic hostel with an even more fantastic staff. It's a very organized and neat, warm place, the toilets and showers are always clean. There's also a very handy kitchen and the staff also provide the guests with all things one may need during a trip at reasonable prices, like towels, laundry and adaptors. As for the location, it's close to pubs and supermarkets, there are a few bus stops nearby and the Bethnal Green underground (central line) is just a five-minute walk from there. For those who need to work or study, there's the Bethnal Green Library, also a five-minute walk from Hostelle, where you can find yourself a desk with plug sockets. There's no better place in London for a woman to stay.

What I needed when I needed it

A great place and exactly what I needed, felt super safe, even got the room to myself for a night didn't even feel like a hostel.

Beds can be a bit noisy which isn't good if you get in while people are asleep, Having more sofas in the common areas might be nice, staff were often working on them and I felt like I was in the way. Some form of early check in would be nice Ie you pay and get given the main door code at any time but you can't go through to the beds until 2

Decent short stay

Close to the nearest train station. Even though it's a bedspace with other female travellers, I found privacy in my bed.

The room is not that very spacious and there are no lifts. It might be difficult if you are carrying large luggages. The toilet floor is always wet :(

I m verrrrry 😞😔😭😭😔😔 as the lady in reception Chanel screamed at me so bad only when my card didn't work for a while.Their then guy came I don't know his name he misbehaved with me so many times..telling me give fast otherwise leave this place ..I will not allow u to sit in couch also.my husband left me saying I will be there for 21 days ..on 11th day Ur manager maybe her name is Shallot without telling me any reason told me to leave the hostel ..she was sooooo rude to me iii hated her n told her where will I go in such short notice...she said I don't know..I was liked by everyone in hostelle n this three guys made a plan ....n troubled me soo much .I am from Filthy rich family..have so much money but to explore..enjoyy n for my safety from males I chose to be in Hostelle.I will never forgive them ...only God will punish them n I will surely take action against them.I called Police mmthey refused n told me call customer care n I was so tensed that where will I go..n then magically things happend n I m at beautiful place on Earth 🌎🌍..thanks 🙏🙏🙏I had lovely 11 days but the staff made feel so bad in a Country as I m from India and Army Officers wife ..even General salutes us when we enter a place ..tc

Si trova in un quartiere molto carino ed è situato a due passi sia dalla fermata del bus che della metro (linea rossa) Per essere un ostello l ho trovato molto pulito, inclusi i bagni Comoda la tendina per ogni letto così da avere un po' di privacy. Ogni letto è anche dotato di due prese USB, una presa "classica", una piccola mensolina e una luce da lettura. In generale ho davvero apprezzato questo ostello

Ho trovato l area comune un po' piccina Se siete in città per poco tempo un ostello più centrale potrebbe farvi risparmiare tempo (anche se l'ostello è collegato al centro in maniera ottimale)

Hostelle! The best female hostel in London.

Hostelle is the most welcoming, comfortable, truly great value for money accommodation I have ever had the pleasure to experience. The day & night staff are 100% amazing. The professional, courteous and friendly manner I experience, makes it an absolute joy to visit. This is sincerely a high quality hostel that towers above most. A huge thank you to each & everyone at Hostelle, from the cleaners, to front desk, night team, managers and owner. We the visitors are truly blessed to be hosted by such a fine organisation. The dormitories, showers/toilets, kitchen, dining area, TV area & front desk are always exceptionally clean. The relaxed & chilled atmosphere is so comforting always. Thank you for organising High Tea, movie nights etc, these are well attended and popular. The location is the icing on the cake. I feel safe in this area. Underground 3-4 mins away with quick access to central London. Bus stop is steps away. Hostelle is popular with international and national visitors. A wonderful place for all females.

I truly loved everything with my visit. Genuinely Nothing negative to say about Hostelle.

O quarto que eu fiquei não tinha janela. Era extremamente quente e fedia (talvez pelas pessoas) mas se houvesse uma janela com ar natural, amenizasse. A primeira noite foi impossível de dormir, o cheiro estava bem ruim.

A warm beating heart of s place

The bed curtains for privacy made me feel so comfortable and cosy! Also the staff were very friendly, kitchen area had a nice system. Bathrooms clean and the location very easily accesible by public transport. The area had all i needed in terms of groceries, coffee shop, restaurants, parks and vintage shopping!!

Cool vibe, but didn't sleep well for a few nights

+ Vibe is very nice and you can make good friends + Activities + Free tea and coffee

- I wouldn't say it's a women's hostel but more of a girls hostel (18-25). Girls are super inconsiderate with turning the light on in a dorm, having video calls, and being incredibly noisy at night - Personal: on my first night a group of girls arrived in the middle of the night being incredibly noisy. After talking to the staff two times, the guy at the reception just wanted to sell!! me ear plugs (which I already had on my own). Apart from that I didn't have so many touch points with the personal. However, I believe it's their task to remind people about quiet hours and how to behave in a hostel with 10+ people - Comfort: The bed is quite small, the dorm itself noisy, luggage space is heavy to lift and the lamps are quite bright - The showers are tiny, and the bathrooms are always flooded. Nowhere to hang your stuff. - The location is quite dodgy at night, and with a lot of homeless people during the day

Nice hostel, great location

This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was much better than I expected. The location was great, just a short walk from the metro station and the bus going from Stansted airport to London actually stops basically in front of the hostel (under 1 minute of walking), which I really appreciated. Beds were nice and comfortable, each had a curtain for privacy, a shelf, a socket and a lamp. There were enough showers and toilets for everyone, I never had to wait. Kitchenette was good enough for my needs. Wifi worked without issue. Staff was very nice. Also I felt very safe knowing there are only women there. For that price, it was amazing.

The common parts could use a bit more cleaning, but I understand it takes just one "pig" to mess the bathroom up and the cleaner can't come in every five minutes. But overall, it was decently clean each time I went there. Also as others mentioned, there wasn't any place to put your things in the shower stalls, just one hook and no shelves (just one shelf inside the shower itself, there was enough space for any shampoos or stuff like that). The hostel is on a busy street, so it does get a bit noisy, especially on Friday night the pub next door became quite loud, also there's a railway overpass nearby and you can hear the trains from the hostel. But it wasn't really bothering me, I didn't think it's that loud. Generally, all those negative things were pretty small to me and didn't affect my stay much.

Great and comfortable

I loved sitting on the rooftop at night! The wifi was great so sometimes I was just connecting with friends and sometimes I was watching a series.

Nothing that is something the Hostel can do! Only one weird women one night haha.

It was a brilliant place to stay: friendly, convenient and affordable.

The rooms were great. Privacy curtains on each bunk were a nice bonus. The showers, toilets, hair driers and hand driers were all clean and working. Free tea and coffee or herbal drinks were an added bonus. The location is great, 2 minutes from the underground and only one or two stops from where I needed to be. I will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The person in the above bunk kept her light on all night and the gap between the bed and the wall meant I might as wel have had my light on. Fortunately, I'd taken a flight eye mask.
