About this apartment rental
Welcome to The Sunflake, located less than 5 miles from Stowe Mountain Resort! This is a prime, centrally located condo to enjoy all that Stowe has to offer.
Take a moment to relax in the living room where you feel like you are actually sitting in the beautiful Vermont woods that surround this newly renovated end-unit Fox Hill condo. Super cool aspects with 60’s vibe, such as spiral staircases and brick accent walls add classic mountain architectural highlights for a warm welcome at the end of a busy day exploring any season in Vermont.
The Sunflake is particularly private. Arrive in the parking area with plenty of room, follow the walkway to the end, getting the feeling right away that you are tucked away for a special stay. Enter into an open new kitchen, mudroom and powder room. Dine on the large, marble- topped table flanked by a barn door and brick wall, then step down into the sunken living room. This layout makes gathering, cooking, eating and hanging out together a vacation bonus! Oh and don’t forget the puzzling table that can double as a desk, well equipped with a charging station!
A total of 3 floors separated by 2 spiral staircases with 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths - 1 king and a neighboring queen upstairs share a full bath, while the lower level has an open area with 2 twin beds, a private king bedroom, a second full bath and separate laundry room. Did we mention new floors throughout?
During the summer months (approximately beg of June to mid-September) you have full use of the beautiful condo community pool tucked away in the majestic Vermont forest just across the road about 50 yards away. And you'll stay cool with AC in the primary bedroom, queen guest bedroom, and basement bedroom. Best of all, it's just a short walk down the hill to kick back at the Alchemist Brewery. And just another short jaunt beyond, to Piecasso for some of the best pizza you will ever eat!
Note: Community pool opening for each season depends on the condo association and is subject to change. Please reach out to us to confirm before booking.

The property was wonderful. Well equipped with everything you need and would want while away from home. Very thoughtful and great hospitality and customer service.

Clean, modern, and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were well-organized and easy to work with. The location is convenient for skiing, about halfway between town and the slopes. My only complaint is that you have to walk through one of the downstairs bedrooms to get to the other, and the door between them is far from soundproof. Our kids are sound sleepers, so it worked for us, but this is really a 3 bedroom place with 2 twin beds in an open area in the basement.

Our family of 5 were right at home in this comfy condo. Everything we needed for an enjoyable winter/ski vacation was there and the fireplace was a bonus.
It only took 10-15 minutes to drive to the ski resorts and other activities however the hilly/clay/gravel roads entering g the community prices challenging during heavy snowfall. Be sure you have the right vehicle to get up there!

Stayed here with my wife and our 3 teenagers along with my best friend and his 2 teenagers. The place was perfectly clean and well appointed. We loved hanging in the living room around the gas fireplace. Location was excellent as we were just off Mountain Road and getting to the mountain was only about a 5-10 minute drive.
We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place. We will be back.
