Brief stay in Thomaston with the family and the dog for a local celebration.
This home is in a great location, close to everything.
Clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we could need.

Very clean and nice property as advertised.

This is our second year staying at this property, and we really like it. It's conveniently located, clean, comfortable, quiet. Fairly well-stocked kitchen as far as cookware and dishware. The TVs being set up with Roku is also really convenient as we can easily log in to our streaming services. Check-in is easy. Check-out requirements are reasonable and easy to do. If it's available, will stay there again next year.

This place was a very simple but perfect place for our stay before going over to vinalhaven. Very close to rockland and restaurants. Dog friend which was great. Rooms spacious.

Had a great stay! The property was clean and easy to find with the host’s instructions. Close to Rockland and Camden.

We loved our stay at your home. It was a superb location for what we needed to do. Lots to see and do in the area. The house is a great size and has everything you will need.

We found this property modest and functional, clean and convenient. It was a good base for our family weekend.

Property was well maintained and 10 minutes from the events in Rockland that I came to see. Really appreciated the laundry onsite and the close proximity to the grocery store in Thomasten!

My family and I arrived around 6pm. The smell upon entering was awful, floors sticky, a few flies (dead and alive) in the home, and most uncomfortable was the do not enter sign in the mudroom, right outside the entrance door with has a non unique keypad and a half glass door with no shade or blinds. The furniture was stained and one covered buy a protector we didn't move. We ended up leaving after 2 hours and found a motel to stay at instead with our kids and dog. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

Nice place to stay. Could have used a luggage stand and a chair in the bedrooms.

Great place for those with pets. Nice mud room entry. Eat in kitchen. Host responded quickly to inquiries. Neat and clean. This is a non-smoking property. However there was a definite smokey smell in the home. My spouse quit smoking years ago and the smell really bothered him especially since we rented a non-smoking property.

Still the sweet quirky house that we have come to enjoy. We spent Christmas at this house and it was lovely. The living room and Kitchen are spacious and inviting. More lighting would help brighten the kitchen. Overall, this place works well for a convenient stay in Thomaston. Host was easy to communicate with and we will return in the very near future.

Plenty of room for us and great location to get to the river to hunt and out at night.

This home was welcoming, comfortable and very functional. It offers much space with some quirky aspects but it works. The only real issue is the road noise especially in early morning as the house is about 100 yards from a well traveled road. We enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to Christmas 2023.

We needed a place to stay for one night and this house was perfect. We did not see any air conditioning in the house, although it is listed as an amenity. Otherwise, everything was as expected. We appreciated the cleanliness!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a cute little house. Clean. Very comfortable master bed. Conveniently located for seeing the sights. Owner was very responsive to questions. Definitely recommend this place. We would stay here again if we're in the area.

We needed a place to stay driving from Machias to Boston. Thomaston was a good break point with lots to see and do in the area. Would definitely recommend it.

This house was perfect for our short stay in Thomaston. It was clean and very well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay here in July.
We like the location because it is close to Rockland, Camden, Waldoboro and Pemaquid. There is no need to drive far with Rockland so close and the Pemaquid Lighthouse and beach less than an hour away.
We had a problem with the washer/dryer and the owner had some one come check things out ASAP. Turns out it was just overloaded and not broken.
We had 6 adults sleeping here one night without any problems with space by using the convertible couch in the living room.

My employees were happy. We would have stayed longer if not already booked!

Nice place to use as a home base to explore the mid-coast Maine area. We visited Rockland, Rockport, Belfast, Waldoboro and the Pemaquid beach and lighthouse. These were all within one hours drive.
The house was clean and everything worked as it should. The furniture and appliances were an odd collection of mismatched pieces, but the price on the place was good, so you get what you pay for.
My only real complaint was there are 2 apartments attached to the rear of the place and they must be remodeling or something. I tried to sit in the little office space in the morning to have my coffee and work on my computer but there was so much sawing and banging and general noise starting at 7:30 or 8 in the morning that I had to move to the kitchen.
Overall I would recommend the place based on the price, location, functionality and general cleanliness.
