About this cabin rental
JUNE 28-AUGUST 30 - WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY (SATURDAY-SATURDAY)
Beautiful, peaceful cabin just steps from Adirondack Lake!
Relax and enjoy the wonder of the Adirondacks in this year round cabin. Our cabin is just a short 5-10 min walk into the town of Indian Lake, close to many hiking, snowmobiling, and cross country ski trails, and 25 minutes from Gore Mountain and Garnet Hill Lodge Cross-country ski center.
Four kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe are available for use. Gather around the fire pit at night, toasting marshmallows, listening to the loons, and enjoying the stars. In the winter, you can cross-country ski or snow shoe right from the property.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the open floor plan with the living room and deck is great for cooking, visiting, and entertaining. On chilly days, the wood stove will warm this space nicely. The dining table can seat 7, with 4 chairs and a bench. There are also three stools for seating at the counter.
The sunroom (3 season) is a great spot to read, visit, play a game, or work on a puzzle. This room also has a queen size futon for extra sleeping space.
This three bedroom/two bath cabin can comfortably sleep 7 (9 with the futon in the sunroom). The main bedroom has a Queen-size bed and bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen-size bed, and the third has a double bed with a single trundle. The second bathroom is located in the hall near the other bedrooms.

The home was clean, comfortable, and all necessities were provided and then some. The view of the lake is stunning and better than expected. The lake is pristine and just the right size for kayaking. Also so clean and refreshing for swimming. Lots of beautiful spots to hike and enjoy. Just come prepared with snacks, drinks, etc as there is not much close by other than convenience stores. Loved our stay.

A perfect place to rest and recharge! The location was beautiful with gorgeous lake views and easy access to use the kayaks, canoe and paddle boards. The house was very clean and so comfortable in every way. We enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, loons, and a bald eagle! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing!! Warm water for swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. Sandy beach and floating dock. The fires at night listening to the Loons was the perfect ending to a great day. Inside was super clean and comfortable, they really thought of everything. Can’t wait to come back

Great time at Adirondack Lake - paddling, paddle boarding, swimming and fireside fun. A great cabin and responsive owner.

Perfect stay for our 2 families of 3. The house is larger than it appears on the listing with gorgeous views of the lake. It was very clean and comfortable with so many extras provided. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We cooked nearly all of our meals there during the week and enjoyed the convenience of having a gas grill and a Crock Pot. There were plenty of dishes and glassware and the dishwasher was a bonus. The fire pit was fun and there were chairs to use around it. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding right off the well maintained dock. Overall, a very quiet and renewing Adirondack experience! We will be back!

When we first walked into this cabin we were amazed at the view, the accommodations and the cleanliness. We spent two days skiing in Gore (only 20 minutes away) and spent the night playing board games by the fire. The hosts were great at communicating beforehand and we are definitely booking again!

We came for a family and friends weekend. We kayaked, did puzzle on the porch, hiked pashley falls trail , played games. We loved the attention to details, decor and that it was dog friendly. The beds were comfy, we forgot camp chairs - they had em. We saw an eagle and sea plane over the lake. The hosts were great ! Fun was had by all and that is great for a group ages 22-50

We loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this house: Perfect location, right on Adirondack Lake with huge deck and great views. The layout with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was the perfect combo for three adult singles. Very attractive cabin décor and the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever had in a rental including several delightful surprises such as a fully stocked Keurig, old fashioned pop-up toaster and plenty of SHARP knives (so rare!). Plus comfy beds and comfy sofas and full TV and internet. AND best of all >>they accept dogs! When we had small problem, the owners responded immediately and fixed it the next day. Tons to do in the area and we especially enjoyed kayaking on the pristine lake and filling the feeder every day to see the hummingbirds bulk up for their long trip south. Five Star rating - We will definitely rent again!!!

The best vacation I’ve had in a very, very long time. And that is in large part due to the graciousness and generosity of our hosts. It’s nice to see a VRBO listing that not only lives up to its description, but exceeds it. The wife and I are already planning on booking the property again in the spring time, and having my folks come and stay with us. I want them to see this place.

We had a wonderful winter weekend at this beautiful lake house! The house is gorgeous with spectacular views of the lake and had everything we needed for a super cozy stay. The wood burning stove worked perfectly and we were grateful for the detailed instructions on how to use it. Thank you, John and Tracy!
Although it was hard to leave the warmth of the house, we did manage to walk up to the small town of Indian Lake to visit the cute hardware/gift store there. And dinner at the Indian Lake Restaurant was great! There are lots of hikes around too! We chose the Rock Lake trail which was short and easy but perfect for a quick winter outing.
The owners have really put their heart into this home with their attention to detail and anticipation of what their guests might need. It really was a perfect getaway.
We hope to return in the warmer weather to use the kayaks and enjoy the water.
