After unloading, checking out the house which was nice we noticed the internet which was advertised as intermittent was actuality non-existent. Thetecwas no signal atvall. No tv, no phone service unless you left the property. We called from in close to Whittier and was promised help. We never received a service call during our time there. We texted with the management various times, not once did someone show up so to make plans with our teens we brought with us we had to leave the property. We had to leave to plan thr reunion we were there for.
The pool was unavailable, the foosball table had no ball, the air hockey table had no puck. The dart board had no darts. There were 2 decks of cards, one with 50 the other with 51.
We did enjoy the screened in porch that we could see and hear the creek running. The cows next door were somewhat entertaining.
The trash cans were full when we got there so nowhere to put our trash.
I would not recommend this property unless all you wanted to do was sleep, eat and spend time alone with no access to what the area provides, which is alot!

This is the second year we have stayed at Meadow Creek Manor. Last year we enjoyed the pool and were disappointed when told it was closed. It didn’t lessen the fun we had. We set up a big kiddie pool for the young ones and they loved it. Someone had built a rock dam across the creek and the water running through the rocks was wonderful. sitting on the screened porch listening to the creek, so relaxing. The fire pit was a big hit with all especially the teens! The neighbors cows were a big hit also. Plenty of room for the family. The location is so convenient to activities and grocery stores. This is our choice for future vacations.

There was plenty of space, nice hot tub, and pool but needs some maintenance. House was clean. Nice creek to side of screened in porch. A great place if you love nature. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal. Wifi worked well for us. Conveniently located to Bryson City and Cherokee. Nice and quiet. Home needs regular maintenance upkeep. I feel something's are being a little neglected. No ball for game table upstairs, no tips on darts, we were only provided 3 towels and no extra blankets air was on 66* air conditioner and it was freezing at night time.

This house has so much potential! It has so much space and a great kitchen and screened in porch that overlooks the stream. With better cleaning, some minor repairs, and the use of the pool, it would be amazing! It really felt like false advertising regarding the pool. When we arrived, there was a sign stating the pool was closed. One of the main reasons we rented this house was because it had a pool. To arrive and find out we couldn’t use it (and it was not ready for use) was extremely frustrating. There were 2 doors that couldn’t be locked, and one door handle kept falling off. There were a lot of minor things with cleaning that were not done well. The dryer was not working and wet towels were left in it. We found them on our second day there. It was definitely disappointing!

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this area. The drive into both Bryson City and Cherokee was 15 - 20 minutes, but the location was remote enough to feel out of town.
The house was well laid out and clean, but there are some things that need to be done to make it really live up to it's potential. A few repairs and updates would make this 100% a five star stay.
The main issue we had was with the internet connection. There was no cable service, so streaming was the only option for TV. It was not satellite, but DSL and the speed was not enough to support TV streaming.
The pool was out of service while we were there, but we were informed prior to arrival and Vacasa provided a small refund in compensation.
Other issues were just general things that needed to be repaired. Several of the doors leading outside had broken handles and the one in the master didn't seal shut so there were always bugs coming in around the cracks. Same with the door from the screened porch to the outside. The only reason it stayed partly closed was a hook latch, but the door was warped so the bottom half didn't close at all and that porch overall was not in the best shape, so we didn't end up using it as we would have liked.

The attractive fly strip hanging about the sink. Garage door opener that didn’t work.

We enjoyed the location, pool, and screened porch, however the overall property was poorly maintained- porch needs rescreening, pool shower leaked into adjacent master bedroom, porch door handle was broken and fell out constantly, no outside trash receptacle, gas grill , TVs did not work, no vacuum, not enough mugs, cereal bowls(2), or silverware for the 10 people, substandard pots, kitchen knives, light bulbs were out, We did enjoy the location, pool, and setting.

could not use the pool it had algae in it and was filthy. same with the hot tub and the water level was way to low. it was also very small and old. nothing like the picture. the whole pool area was filthy. outside table chairs were filthy. dirt and leaves everywhere. black mold growing in the ceiling in the dining room. the toilet in the half bath has a bad seal and it stinks like urine. all of the furniture is very old and worn out. the beds were horrible. most bedrooms had no dresser and no hangers in the closet. nasty toilet plunger with nasty toilet paper stuck to it in upstairs bathroom the towels were folded and put away wet. Had to wash them. grill had no propane. screened in porch had big gaps in screen. The creek runs next to it and we could not enjoy it. we got ate up by bugs. I really wanted the pool to get cleaned so the kids could use it. I called everyday and text and was told someone would be out they never came so we never got to use the pool rented this place because it had the pool. my grandkids were heart broken. i was so stressed the whole time we were there. totally ruined vacation. This place is most definitely being falsely advertised and they know it. I would give anything to have read the previous reviews before I booked but the pictures looked so nice. VBRO says the home is sanitized this is absolutely false. I have requested a refund from Vacasa which is the management company . I have no faith that they will even attempt to make this right.

House had some promising features. The housekeeper didn’t show up to clean and the company had a fill in person who only did a partial cleaning before having to leave. This delayed checkin. Said the supervisor would be over to finish and that didn’t happen. Dirty floors, hair in shower, debris in the indoor pool, bugs all over, garage piled with trash that stunk up the place. After alerting the mgt company on Saturday of what we walked into, they only sent someone on Monday to remove the garage trash (which did help the smell).
Things broken. Grill (that we bought food to cook on), patio door handle comes off in your hand, darts all broken, leg of foosball table, bathroom towel rack, etc.
Internet described as able to stream. It will not. Barely loads email. Froze trying to review ring footage.
Overall, very disappointed. We could have lived with the broken things (although somewhat annoying), but the bugs/flies and lack of cleanliness caused us to cut our stay short.

I would not recommend this place unless they do some serious cleaning and some maintenance work. The pool was green. The hot tub was green, the pool hose that you clean it with was laying out the hot tub‘s motor was exposed to very unsafe trash in the trash cans, major lightbulbs out screened in porch furniture was dirty There was a dirty ashtray as well. The sink upstairs was clogged, would not recommend. It is very sad because the house has so much potential it is in a beautiful neighborhood. I also blame Vrbo. I stayed in contact every day was told someone would come out to fix the problems and they never did

This property came with a pool and hot tub. I messaged the management company prior to our arrival to ask if the pool and hot tub were going to be available. The reply message was that both would be open and available upon our arrival. Imagine our surprise when we got there that the hot tub was broken and the pool still had a cover on it that was full of green, slimy, stinky water. When I attempted to call the Management Company, I was greeted by a foreign speaking individual who was in a call center with 50 other people and conveniently couldn't understand what I was calling about. However, when I asked if we could get more towels, there were 6 towels for a 5 bedroom house and 9 people, I was told someone would call me. I did receive a text about 10 minutes later, telling me where I could find a hidden key that opened a locked utility closet full of cleaning supplies and a few more towels. This property has massive potential, but has been neglected. Ceiling fan doesn't work, hole in wall, deck boards dangerously warped, doors warped, door knob comes off in your hand, fiberglass roof over the pool blown loose and an accident waiting to happen with a broken hot tub (with water in it) and a pool with a nasty cover on it, just waiting for someone to fall in and drown. I will never rent another property managed by this company. I have pictures of all the complaints listed and more.

The property management is difficult to deal with. Trash piled in garage, a pickup service arrived to remove but refused to take. We kept coming back daily to outside furniture moved. Shortly after arrival a shirtless guy and his girl friend arrived to stain deck, making it off limits for 2 days. On 3 days contractors showed up but deck was never finished, grass was never cut, and trash never removed. Piles of previous dirty linens in closet. Bagged and marked as dirty. We had to buy bug spray to kill spiders, ants, and beetles in house, showers, and pool area. We had to buy some light bulbs just to have light in a few rooms. Internet left phones buffering so you could forget TV streaming. No satellite. Unhappy kids. We had to clean the fire pit area. It was full of nails and half burned pallets, as well as broken glad bottles. Pool not heated even though indoors, and hot tub was literally in pieces and laying around pool area.
We tracked actual owner down on Facebook. They were prompt and courteous. They even kept us up to date on pool. Got it useable for us to get some use from it even if it was ice cold. They seem like genuinely good people.
Sadly they leave it to Vacasa to manage, and they do a poor job.

if you look in the records that on the night we arrived I started emailing your company. The house was not clean, lightbulbs important lightbulbs were out all over the house. The pool was not open and the hot tub was not open and had all of its Vacuum for the pool and hot tub and all of its equipment just laying out the screened in porch was disgusting. There was a dirty ashtray a I had to clean the outside screen porch/furniture to be able to use it. The upstairs sink stopped up I contacted y’all y’all assured me we would have someone local to come and fix the problems and you never did I will never , recommend this place for people with small children. The house has so much potential. It is in a beautiful area. It needs some maintenance for safety of its guest and be prepared to bring things that you need to cook with. There is limited dishes and cooking I do not ever expect perfection but I do expect things to be clean and safe for myself and my family when we go I have 20 pictures. If you would like for me to send them to you again I contacted y’all every day I was there, being assured every day that the local agent was going to be contacting us. Oh yeah, also the patio the driveway had used to tobacco pouches and cigarettes. I had to sweep the driveway, so my 75-year-old parents would not trip over anything I had to cover things on the deck were the woods popping up so they would not have to be tripping over it as well as the hose that was left out
