As stated above the hotel was perfectly located for our visit to Rocomadour
The grounds of the hotel were a delight
4.5
Lovely Hotel at the top of the village - parking was easy for us in our vw van - we were given a good welcome by the girl at reception who was chatty and showed us to our room- our room was on the ground floor with a large shower toilet room, we had a door in room that gave direct access to outside and there was a garden table and chairs for better weather. We could see the pool from our room not uncovered but I’d imagine it’s lovely in the summer - We had a great nights sleep and shower was good - there was a kettle in the room.
I think we had been given the disability room - The toilet was too high we couldn’t actually touch the floor when sitting - Didn’t like the carpet rough on bare feet - room had a smell of cat wee which wasn’t from bathroom but might have been from plants near the window.
In comparison to lovely girl that greeted us on arrival the lady we gave key to as we left seemed disinterested on our appreciation of our stay she just nodded and didn’t say was everything ok or have a safe journey! We were speaking French and not complaining just happy tourists.

pariking propio, ubicación perfecta, habitación muy cómoda
Podrían ofrecer un servicio de bar a la tarde para tomar un café.

Location was excellent and in walking distance to everything. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was fine except there was very little hot food or protein available.
4.5
Lovely oasis of calm, beautiful garden, close to town, breakfast was well taken care of - plenty of variety, kind staff
A fridge in the room would have been a nice extra
4.5
Beautiful location in a very nice garden, walking distance to all the sightseeing.
Hotel architecture is modern warm full of light.
Beds mattresses were not very comfortable
4.5
Located right in Rocamadour with a garden back door directly connected to the town and a stunning view where we can access the path leading to the town and the Sanctuary.
The large garden is peaceful with its beautiful trees and the swimming pool is a bonus.
The entire hotel is serene with a focus on nature.
The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Constructive feedback only as I love this place!
The breakfast is lovely with homemade cakes and local products, just a little note on the range of gluten free/vegan options that can be improved.
The little kettles in the room are not the most practical as they are not wireless and some limescale remains inside.

Liked the layout and the room was nice. Breakfast very good. Walkable to the town and some restaurants, possibly walkable to a couple of attractions even though we didn’t. Overall, nice place.
The walk up to second floor was stairs, no elevator if that matters to you, but the stairs were fairly easy in my opinion. Very slight smell from woven rugs but not really an issue. Biggest issue was no wifi and internet for two nights when we were there, and they just didn’t know when it was getting fixed as they had continuously called the company. That was our biggest issue, and the rating would have been higher if not for that issue.
4.5
Great location amongst the trees, but close enough to walk everywhere. Friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable.
Nothing.
4.5
the location, above the old town gave spectacular views.
Understaffed, maybe because it was still out of season. This led to poor service
4.5
Excellent location above Rocamadour with beautiful, well-lit paths taking us down to the cité. A lovely feeling of spaciousness to the hotel with the surrounding grounds. We loved being here in the winter and we could imagine that in the summer this would be the place to stay.
We liked everything.
4.5
Great location with excellent access to the upper level of the town. Great restaurant recommendations.
It was all quite good.
4.5
The location is quiet, but with easy reach of the viewpoints and chateau. There are restaurants within easy reach of the hotel on the same level, as well as easy access to the lifts/paths down to the main commercial street. The receptionists were very helpful, as were the breakfast staff.
Ample parking, where we could leave the car all day whilst exploring Rocamadour itself.
The absence of a bar prevented us rating this higher, and we were reliant on local restaurants being open. They do sell bottles of wine, but there are no glasses in the room so remember to ask for them too!
Rationing at breakfast was odd. Plates refreshed frequently, but with miniscule portions.
Swimming pool closed (not stated in Booking.com) & in 2022 the weather was warm enough.
4.5
Parking was good.
Useless internet and having an open shower without so much as a curtain is just straight stupid. Entire bathroom soaked.
4.5
The hotel is contained in beautiful grounds and, being on the ground floor, we had an outdoor patio area with table and chairs to enjoy. The location is very good at the top of the iconic town of Rocamador and a very short stroll from the hotel enabled us to enjoy great views over the chateau and the valley at different times of the afternoon/evening and the following morning.
Nothing in terms of the hotel. The options for evening meal were rather limited without taking on a fairly long walk at the end of the day. We opted to buy a picnic to enjoy on our patio in the end
4.5
Lovely surroundings, shady, games to play.
Facilities were great, v modern, clean & we wished we’d booked a couple of nights.
4.5
Breakfast excellent. Fresh and high quality.
Hotel is modern, staff super friendly.

Location above this medieval town was great.
Good parking was available. The staff were friendly.
Poor recommendation for dinner. We should have driven back down into the old town where we had eaten superbly at lunch.
4.5
Great location, great facilities, direct access to the parc and chateau

We have spent only one night at Les Esclargies and we left it with much regret. The Hotel has a fantastic location in Rocamadour, situated in a large park. Good parking facilities. The rooms are very spacious and well furnished. The breakfast is excellent with many local products.
4.5
Beautiful hotel. Very nicely decorated throughout. Attentive and friendly staff. A/C in our room was super quiet and efficient
The breakfast was of a very high quality with a nice selection of fresh fruit and pastries. The pool was a bonus as it was very hot during our stay. The hotel is close to the old town so you can walk there in 5 mins. Highly recommended 👌
There was nothing to dislike
4.5
The hotel is tucked away within trees but close enough to walk to the Castle and out for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, lots of locally sourced delicacies to try along with the usual bread, croissants, meats and cheeses etc. Our room overlooked the courtyard where breakfast was taken, it was all very calm and relaxing. There's a lovely pool to enjoy too. We stayed in 5 different locations during our holiday and this was our favourite!
I'm sure evening dining was listed on the Booking.com website but it wasn't available while we were there. However there were several options avaialble within easy walking distance so it wasn't a problem.

Ok
No fridge on the room

What a beautiful setting with a very friendly and helpful host (who spoke English therefore sparing everyone nearby the sound of my less than good French. The rooms were excellent, the pool beautiful and the location perfect for us. We were within easy waling distance to the lifts for Rocamadour (even though we chose to walk) and the nearby village has excellent food options.
We did not think to bring pool towels with us and I felt rather guilty taking the beautiful, white room towels to the pool. Would it be possible to have pool towels available? (if they are then I apologise that I did not find them).

The Hotel Design is Modern but integrates into the tranquil setting surrounded by mature oak trees for shade. The hotel is central with level walking access to the village and the chateau. Access to the old town is down the steps.
There is parking, and a charger for electric cars. We received a warm welcome and felt genuinely looked after. Would definitely recommend and hope to return to explore more of the area
Nothing at all. Everything was great

The grounds are a lovely, peaceful setting among oak trees and a 5 minute walk to restaurants.
4.5
The location was very good. Nice grounds to relax.
The shower had no protective curtain or glass which meant water went all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast was disappointing and very poor to advertise as having gluten free options with only a few cracker alternatives. The items were laid out on display sparingly. The juice was warm and coffee machine was not good.

perfect location
very small room

Everyone we interracted with was lovely. Location could not be better. A perfect oasis.
We would have preferred for the breakfast to be included.
4.5
Very fresh clean hotel. Good bathroom, bright rooms. Well situated to walk into old cite. Nice breakfast
It was very cold. The weather was poor and the heating had not been turned on. We complained on checking out and receptionist said she would turn the heating on.. it was not a very welcoming place, largely due to the cool lady on reception whose manner made us feel we were a nuisance.
4.5
Queiy , friendly and in an idyllic location amongst the trees
Some USB sockets and more mains plugs would none useful
