Cute little house

We didn’t stay after seeing the rental. There were stains on the love seats, chair cushions, and rug. The outdoor grill was very dirty. The owner did not respond to phone calls. We had to contact VRBO to reach out to the owner as we did not receive the checkin information. We would not recommend staying at this rental.

The view from the sunroom is really second to none. The home is small and quaint, in a great location. Very quiet and really just minutes from anything you would want to do in Beaufort and Port Royal.
I have some comments that are not necessarily negative, but should be addressed. We bought new pillows and left them behind, because the old pillows are really past their useful life. The rooms could use some curtains to help block the neighbors lights shining in. And lastly, the bathroom wasn't what I would consider to be very clean. A lot of human hair on the floor, the light in the exhaust fan is full of dead bugs and debris, and we did have to provide our own toilet paper. Not a huge deal, but worth bringing up. But honestly, I would stay here again if I was going to be in the area.

The cottage was beautiful and well appointed, the neighborhood peaceful. We love the view and the location near the Spanish Moss Trail and town. There were a few minor things that need attention which we let the owner know so they could be addressed after we left: the barbeque grill advertised was not working and had no gas tank. The can opener does not work, so we had to use a knife to open cans. There were several other non-working things that need attention and once that happens we would give it a 5 out of 5.

Came to watch my son at Parris Island in his first gradation as a Senior Drill Instructor. The cottage is just a short distance from base and downtown Beaufort.
Very simple and easy check-in and check-out process. Definitely have no complaints of the cleanliness and communication with owner. I would absolutely rent again at this location and will try to for my next visit there.

The renovated cottage is located literally 20 feet from the marsh which provided beautiful views of the water at high tide. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and just a few minutes from downtown and only yards from the Spanish Moss Trail. The only negative was the gas grill. It was totally junk! We love Beaufort, and will definitely stay at the cottage again.

My husband, 5 year old, and I really enjoyed our stay! We love the marsh and the neighborhood. Spanish Moss Trail was a wonderful walking experience. Lots of blackberries and beautiful flowers! We would really love to come back in the fall or whenever we can!

There are multiple cottages in this area and the “newly remodeled” one that we thought we were reserving was not what we ended up in. The owner was easily accessible but couldn’t do anything because the unit we wanted was also booked. The unit we were in was fine for our purposes. We were only in the area for a long weekend. The view is pretty. The cottage was clean other than left over food in the cabinets, dust on fans and blinds. We don’t believe the mix up in the booking was owner error but still something to be aware of when reserving one of the cottages.

Location was good, close to downtown., etc. cottage was good, might suggest a deep clean and adding a few essentials; overall it was good.

Very nice sunsets for sure and being by water made them so much nicer. I would stay again. And location great.
