Romantic, primitor, grecesc

O locație superba în centrul vechi al orașului Chania, unde te întâmpină un grec trecut de prima tinerețe, foarte amabil. Camera e desprinsa din povesti. Pe fereastra se vede farul și marea, decorurile sunt din alte vremuri... gramofoane, lămpi, mobilier și oglinzi ce dau un farmec aparte locației. Curatenie impecabila, aer conditionat, prosoape si lenjerie de calitate, produse cosmetice pe baza de ulei de masline, cu miros divin. Minunat!

Am stat doar o noapte și vacanta a luat sfârșit...

Ok overall, but not memorable

-kinf staff, located in the old town, interesting old building

- average breakfast, room a bit small, quite noisy (but it is understandable given the location), small shower tub

Highly characterful, comfortable and cosy

Very cute, characterful room. Usually single rooms are the worst but this had the bed on a mezzanine floor with steps up and the bathroom underneath. It really made the most of the original features in the building. The location is superb, right on the harbour but tucked just behind the busy seafront.

Because the window looked out onto the steps up to the roof terrace, I felt I had to keep the shutters closed if the light was on in the room. The room smelt damp, but it is an old Venetian building.

A very enjoyable holiday in a stunning location.

Located in the Old Town and overlooking Chania Port. Very convenient to restaurants, shops and beautiful walking routes. Access to roof top garden and has rooms with balconies. Beautiful accommodation managed by very friendly and helpful people.

My family of 5 (parents and 3 adult children) absolutely loved this hotel!

Nostos Hotel is so charming and historic! It was build as a church in 1515, was damaged during the wars, taken over by the Turks, and eventually bought by the grandfather of the current owner. It has so many nooks and a lovely rooftop garden with views of the harbor.

Quirky in a good way and a very happy place

We wanted a traditional, quirky hotel and this was just right. It is in the heart of the old town of Chania, close to the old harbour and all of the restaurants, tavernas and shops - somehere different to eat every night within a few minutes walking and all great value. There is a lovely roof terrace overlooking the harbour and Venetian lighthouse. The hosts were always very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast (often served in the narrow street in front of the hotel) was well presented and filling. What a great place for people watching. Our room was on two levels with the bed on an upstairs mezzanine - the bathroom was very clean and a good size.

We had a very limited view from the room, but this was inevitable because it overlooked a narrow street in a very old town. The stairs down from the bed on the mezzanine were very steep and a little scary first thing in the morning when making haste to the bathroom - particularly after walking down Samaria Gorge!

The location, the terrace, street view, staff friendliness and helpfulness. fridge in room.

lovely location, lovely hotel, decorated in good taste. incredibly nice staff, situated in the centre of the city 10 minutes from bus station and 2 minutes from the port. spacious bathroom and room, very clean. overall a great experience!

Amazing location and rooftop terrace with harbour views

Excellent location right at the heart of Chania harbour close to everything, super kind and helpful hosts, spacious room and great rooftop terrace with amazing view! I liked the hotel charming old town style too!

For light sleepers some ear plugs could come handy, as in all old-towny buildings :)
