Lovely old hotel. Our room had a balcony and view. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was good with beautiful view of the bay. Would recommend.

Great location, decent breakfast with nice seating area.
A lot of hotels on booking.com are advertising things they don’t deliver. I paid a little extra for a sea view and got put in a city view. It’s just frustrating that you can’t rely on anything you read on booking.com, have had this issue with car rentals as well with booking.com, it’s like you’re always in for a surprise and booking’s customer service is basically non existent so I try to avoid using the company

The breakfast and location
Happy with everything

The location is excellent, really spacious room with great value for money.
They have a fantastic balcony but sadly it seems to be shut off after breakfast, it’d be good to have the option to buy a drink or take your own drink to the balcony to enjoy the sunset.

The property is finished beautifully: the woodwork, the tiling, the staircase is a marvel.
The cafe da manha is lovely, served with kindness and varying house made specialties; and the view is spectacular.
the internet signal can sometimes waver

The location was perfect, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a stunning sea view.
The sheets and towels unfortunately weren’t very clean.

My room had a little balcony/terrace with a view to the Baia de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay), which was fantastic.
The breakfast cooked by (Juliana I guess), was delicious with a variety of local dishes, fruits and breads, totally wonderful.
Jair from the reception was really helpful and attentive as well as all other member of staff.
The location is good, (about 10 mins walk to Pelourinho), with bars and cafes in the surrounding areas
The sound isolation of the room was poor, terrible actually. We could hear people walking up and downstairs as if they were inside the room.
The lift never worked during our stay, so if you have any disability issue it can be a problem.
A little upgrade is required to turn this sweet and attractive hotel into a wonderful place that it deserves to be.
The street outside can be scary on Mondays as it's deserted, but from Tuesday to Sunday it's OK and full of life.
Our room had a small wardrobe and to make it even worse, they decided to put a mini fridge inside it to make it even smaller (go figure).
The safe inside the wardrobe was tiny, the size of a lunch box and to make it even worse it wasn't bolted to the wall, so anyone could just pick it up and take it away.

The neighborhood is perfect. Lovely bars and restaurants, cute shops, everything close by. Staff were very kind and receptive!

it’s location was perfect for exploring the old city. Our room (2) was large with a balcony. The bathroom was good with an excellent shower.
The breakfast could have been better; for example there were no scrambled eggs this morning.

The Pousada is on a beautiful narrow street very close to Pelourinho, there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, the area is completely safe. The staff are lovely, very helpful and they speak great English. The breakfast had different homemade pies and cakes every morning and it's served on a beautiful roof terrace with great views.
The best thing, however, was the room itself: very big, with a generous terrace overlooking the bay, next to a garden full of birds - we would wake up with birdsong every morning. The area is as quiet as you can get this close to Pelourinho, we didn't have any trouble sleeping at night. I would absolultely stay there again, it's a great place and excellent value for money!
There were some small issues with the bathroom: the sink didn't drain well and there was a leak from somewhere, the bathroom floor was always wet (with water, no bad smells or anything). But it's nothing compared to how great this Pousada is overall.

The location is perfect, right beside the historical centre but far enough that you get away from hustle and bustle.
Staff lovely, breakfast devious, pousada is uniquely Designed, BV with amazing views from our room and breakfast deck.
Highly recommended
Nothing, everything was fantastic

Fantastic place to stay for the carnival as a family. The week before the main Salvador carnival there are parades in the street outside the hotel. Lots going on but far enough from the main stages to sleep. Easy to get Ubers to the main parades.

Very nice pousada in old part of Salvador, close to historical part, beautiful terrace with amazing view where breakfast was served. The breakfast is excellent, the best I ever had, everything fresh and homemade. If I’m in Salvador next time I will come back for sure.
The sink didn’t drain well but nothing serious comparing to all the advantages of this accommodation.
