Location was great! Cabin needs some renovation, a/c can’t keep up in the hot weather. Layout is awkward in the bedrooms etc. Beds need new mattresses. But all in all we had a nice time.Biggest negatives- needs A/C Mini splits in bedrooms and new mattresses. It rained the last two days which helped the cabin stay cooler.

This property has amazing potential. The location is great as it is a short boat ride to City Harbor which you will find a great breakfast place and is a short walk to downtown Guntersville. We booked this home based on the description and pictures provided on VRBO. We were very disappointed in our stay. First a dock is being built on the property, however the workers swam, fished and lounged on our house patio furniture right outside the bathroom window. We had to complain 2 different days and my husband had to ask them to not be on our patio/deck of the house before the situation was rectified. The house is very run down as there is rotting wood and debris from the house falling apart in the landscaping. The furniture is dirty looking and more like something you would find in a Frat house. The first night we saw a mouse in the screened in porch. The next day and every day of our vacation we found mouse droppings on the kitchen counters along with an infestation of ants. I did try to let the management know when I called about the workers but they were very unprofessional and cut our phone call short. We bought ant hotels to set in the kitchen but the infestation was too much for them to help. The spiderwebs inside and out were so numerous it was overwhelmingly disgusting! I would make sure this company has addressed these issues before booking this property or any of the properties associated with this location.

Nice lake view, inside is cute, but the property was not clean and full of pests. Ants and mice rule the kitchen. We had to store all food in the refrigerator and microwave. Furniture (cloth) stained. Outside and inside full of spiderwebs everywhere. No landscaping and rotten wood. Dock was convenient for visiting boats.

I stayed at this rental with 5 other guy's for our annual fishing trip. Out of 8 years this was hands down the best place we've ever stayed. Great house, awesome views Lakeside and very close to town. Absolutely top notch.....

This was a great get a way location. The house was perfect for our group. We had an issue with the heating unit at check in. The property manager came to the house immediately and then arranged a service call. We were up and running within a couple of hours.
I would stay at this property again.

Last minute family get together by the lake. Rental space and accommodation was true to pictures with exception of screened in porch which ran length of house facing lake and connected to larger outside dining area with gas grill. We loved these spaces and enjoyed most meals out there in the cooler Oct temp. The house was ac and comfy for sleeping at night and the porch areas were more rustic which we didn’t mind as we spent a lot of time fishing from the pier and had easy access in and out of porch. We prepared all meals in the rental and there were plenty plates, cups, utensils, etc. however, it was a bit lean on the cooking ware. The coffee maker could make a 12 cup pot or use k cups rental had filters but you need to bring your own coffee. There were some concerns with the cleanliness which were reported to the rental agency and addressed but it would not preclude us from renting again in the future. Beds were comfortable only complaint is main room off of living room with king bed the left side of bed (facing bed) had a dip in it and that room also did not have window covering on it so we hung a beach towel and placed one of the chairs in front of the door for privacy.

Clean and plenty of sleeping space for our group of four. Great views, deck and outdoor living space with outdoor grill. Close to two boat launches. Very convenient and great views.
Would recommend, though limited cooking utensils, no pot holders, and pot selection. As long as you come prepared for a lower stocked kitchen with regards to cook ware you will not be disappointed. It was a beautiful weekend and saw eagles in their peninsula!
