Lovely small cottage with a beautiful castle ruin in the backyard. We saw sea otters, hedgehogs, ravens, donkeys, goats, horses, ponies, and friendly dogs. The wood burning stove was awesome and made the place super cozy. Wifi was great for remote working, cottage was well stocked, and the SuperValu had tons of variety at great prices. Great place to stay - the owners were so welcoming and open but gave us our privacy as well. Highly recommend & would stay again :)
Loved everything but disappointed that the cafe was temporarily closed.

The hosts were lovely. They were knowledgeable about the area and introduced me to a fantastic tour guide for the nearby Franciscan Friary. The castle was historic, the fellow clientele of the restaurant were charismatic, the landscape and nearby walks and villages were superlative experiences. I enjoyed local produce which I was able to cook in the well appointed kitchen of my cottage
When I was there, the last cottages were in progress, for me I like seeing things being developed, a bit of a restorations guy myself, but some may not like it. The proprietors will be finished soon and it’s a brilliant project!

The cottage was very cosy and well equiped. The view from the patio was amazing! The landlords were very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to come back one day!
A little more cutlery and dishes would be great.

Thanks Anne and Paul for a lovely stay. The house and views were unreal, even better than the photos! Beautiful home and surroundings, freindly & helpful hosts and added bonus of the beautiful cafe onsite. Coffee was delish. We will definitely visit again

Excellent property restored modernized on Beagh Castle.
On site proprietors available for assistance if needed. Very cozy, fantastic views of Shannon Estuary and castle grounds. Pier and gathering areas available. On-site cafe for light snacks, coffee and drinks. Very pleased with the quiet, private location. Active farming area. Close to many restaurants and pubs in Limerick.. Top of the Town Restaurant and Pub nearby in Askeaton. Overall, highly recommended for a unique stay.
